THE place to stay in Lübeck Altstadt. Very cosy hotel close to everything. The outside and the inside is from the year 1216, but very modern rooms. Very attentive and kind personnel — feels like home. Breakfast is a bit sparse, but 100% organic.

➜ A very excellent little hotel garni, which puts fully on the core performance so on very nice clean rooms and delicious breakfast. It can't be more central. The staff (which I count too) are friendly and competent.

One of the most incredible and memorable places I’ve ever stayed in. Our rooms had medieval wall paintings, renaissance wall panels and ceilings and were huge.
Exceptionally comfortable and well appointed, staff are extremely efficient, polite, friendly and helpful.
The only slightly negative comment I have and in a building of its age, to be expected, is the central heating was rather noisy!
