We were there on a balmy May evening and could sit outside. The view into the Ruhr Valley is magnificent. In the absolute tranquility you can enjoy a great visit with delicious food. The service is super friendly and accommodating. The restoration itself is unusual and nicely furnished. The only negative point that evening was the up-and-coming prices. Nevertheless, we will certainly plan further visits and are looking forward to it.

I was arranged to eat with friends yesterday, we had chosen the river house, which was unfortunately a big mistake.
Two of us came a bit earlier, after we had already taken a seat for 10 minutes, we are asked if we wanted to drink something before, we answered in the affirmative and had to wait about 10 minutes for our drinks. After the last two of us arrived, our table was ignored first, after the third call a service had finally mercy on increasing our order, since we were bitterly disappointed, because one was only able to see the drinks of the Taking in new arrivals, even on demand, whether we could directly abandon our food requests, this was rejected. Unfortunately, the service never came back, even someone else with the new drinks. After 20 minute ignorance of the employees, we decided to find a new location.
I will not be met here again as a guest. The rating of a star is even too much for me in this case, even the beautiful ambience could not get anything out of it for the crew of the river house.

Had pre-ordered an outdoor table. The restaurant was estimated to be about 50% visited. After ordering the drinks, nothing happened. At the first demand we were ignored, at the 2nd demand comforted. At the 3rd demand, we wanted to order something to eat at the same time, but this was not possible, because you had to process the beverage order first.
The above points in themselves are bad enough, but despite our kind attitude, we were treated with such arrogance that we went without anything to take. We will no longer be allowed to be welcomed here.

The ambience might not actually be nicer, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. If there are about 15 people sitting on the terrace and 3 waiters do not manage to ask the guests if you want to have a drink, it is already very annoying to call a waiter constantly to get something. When it is charged, there are always problems with the system, either something is missing or items are calculated that have not been ordered.
When these problems are eliminated, the river house (water station) is always worth a visit.

Overall, a very good Experience! Service was fast and Italian-charming! The Food is not inexpensive, but it is always delicious. We had the Tuna Steak And the Burger. Neither dead. For the Kids, they have a few simple Dishes that always run at Kids. The Chicken Nuggets are made from real Hanging Fillet. Taste Great! Children's Corner inside and a giant Wooden Ship in the Playground outside. Add to that a huge Meadow for Romping and playing football and an endlessly green Landscape for the Greats for the gaze welds let. Balls and Sun Loungers are provided. Highly recommended! Happy again!

Very nice Beer Garden where we wanted delicious Food today. After finding a Place, we also got our Menu from then on nix more. After half an Hour we asked if we could order it was nodded. We continued to be absolutely ignored. After a dred-quarter of an Hour we left. Impossible, Staff very Unkind. Too Bad but my Restaurant will no longer do this.

A great location inside and out.
We had two operations on the day. Number 1 wasn't very accommodating and was just doing his job. Number 2 was very nice and accommodating. You really realized that he enjoyed it. We ordered food with 6 people and this came together.
The prices for a calf schnitzel I find expensive at 18, 50 euros. The schnitzel was well — but for this price one had a Higher Expectation.
Burgers looked good but no positive surprise here either. The flame cake was delicious!
All in all, it was okay and we hope it continues to increase.

The location is really very nice. The food was excellent and the staff very nice. Thank you for the beautiful afternoon.

Dresses make people. Applies here. If you do not comply with the desired dress code, you will be ignored from the operation until you leave.

Unfortunately very miserable operation, food priced, but qualitatively very expandable. Even if the team has vlded. Still included, I am dissatisfied with the overall performance.

So I found my pizza with spinach and salmon super delicious, the service was also very friendly.
Under the direction of the new owner, we were eating there again today. Overall it was very good, but the waiters were not as attentive as under the direction of the old owner.

Catastrophe, beautiful facility but service and dishes not worthy of a family business who has already learnt for almost 200 years in his genes and abroad.
The older waiter ordered a flame cake with crayfish and wiener schnitzel.
Although the waiter was asked in advance whether Kraben or big crayfish/gambas, he replied great!
Got as a flame cake alsatian with ham. Faux pas 1 back to the kitchen with the wrong and came back, no kidding, same flame cake with ham and now crab on it. Big faux pas 2 should actually go to the boss but since my mom is old and sick so I didn't want to make a stir in the store.
There was a flame cake? With crabs small no matter but dough rather pizza dough thick and toppinging clearly finished gravy! Faux pas 3 wiener schnitzel not spicy and no sour cream butter used. Still went.
Then ordered potato as chips, did not emphasize before, please no sweet potatoes, even showed an example, which at the waiter (think strongly a Croatian… the "Jebem Ti" has escaped, does not want to translate it, did there 1 year abroad graduated in Zagreb) is a Swear word where you annoy yourself.
And what came before the swearing, yes really sweet potatoes. Faux pas 4 at the end of tea and coffee ordered also came wrong, the waiter had only now understand and they went on the house.
Not finished yet the bill was also wrong and got €5 back though 4, €50.
The waiter didn't want 50cent back!
Worst was faux pas 2!

Friendly, clean, fair prices. Appealing ambiance. For people with children, dogs, bicycles.

Was in the "preseason" there, so to speak. You can't say so much yet. But it was very good there, appealing and with nice crew. The direct location on the Ruhr and the beautiful surroundings will do the rest.
Also very good is that there is at the same time a hotel there:)
I'm sure I'll be back.

Good food in good quality. Very family friendly. Service is very nice. The kitchen is open so you can see how it is cooked. We were there in the winter. In summer, the whole terrace with a view of the water is still open. And the crowd will be higher. Not only recommended as a local excursion.

On the terrace you have a nice view of the Ruhr. You can also sit on the meadow in a lounge chair and enjoy this view.
The staff is very friendly and the food is also okay. Beer is well chilled and the cappuccino tastes good. Now the riverside is closed. That's a pity.

Local with a beautiful terrace and a great beer garden. Especially recommended in summer! Nice view of the Ruhr. The food is O. K, the choice of dishes is sufficient. The operation could be more attentive.
Hopefully it will be back in the spring.

Had our baby shower here. The extra-large is very good for this. Perfect for children, due to the playground. The food is good and the price reasonable, partly slightly too expensive. Operation is nice.

Nice restaurant. In summer with the outdoor area (terrace and beer garden) with a view of the Ruhr certainly worth a visit again. The inattentive staff greatly tarnishes the first impression.

Super poor service and dry food. The shop wasn't even half full and unfortunately it didn't work out any more.

Great new restaurant, with a perfect outdoor terrace for kids!

So a unfriendly A. As Mr. Schmidt with the I on the phone, I have in the hotel industry never before experienced. Great movie. The Hotel is fully booked and if you then still dares to call and time to ask, will you in impossible ways abgewimmelt. Is in order, I never ask again.

Sometimes the Restaurant is closed. The pier is no longer approached.
