Is in the old town and therefore good for partying. That means it's very busy at the weekend. The rooms are very clean and modern.

If you're looking for a place where to have a rest at night, this will be a very bad choice as the noise from the local street bars and discos will keep you up for the most part of the night until early morning hours. If you want to open the hotel doors and find yourself right into the mass of mostly drunken and very loud mass of night animals, your're looking at the right hotel to enjoy that! Go for it! :-) No hard feelings as staff was friendly and no specific comments on anything else related to hospitality too, it's just my mistake not to read the hotel reviews beforehand, but I do hope somebody else will make better advised decision.

Perfect location in oldtown and close to the river. Most interesting places in walking distance. Clean room with spacious bathroom and small, but well equipped kitchen (stowe, coffeemaker, microwave, fridge, water cooker). Good heating (important in winter time). Restaurants in the street can be louder, but it's not bad. I liked the place.

The room was great except for the small single bed right next to the registration. The food was excellent. I was especially annoyed by the location and the noise level at night. However, the situation does not expect anything else. For families and peace-loving people it is rather inappropriate.

✅-nicely decorated, large room-kitchenette with accessories-very central/right in the old town-Easy check-in, check-out-hot water-water-and coffee maker-hair dryer-large wardrobe-Super prices ❌-"roller blinds" do not go down properly so that people from the Can look in the opposite house and offer no darkening, who wakes up quickly with brightness, should bring a sleep mask-in the morning very, very noisy, as it is located in the old Town… Ohropax are a must! Even with Ohropax, it was partly very noisy. (Loading unload trucks etc) — furniture damaged, drawers partially taped-small bathroom, but no problem-towels smelled strange for the price super, right in the city. However, nothing for people who want to sleep a lot!

Rooms are large and comfy. Heating system was inefficient and room could not get warm enough. It's rough but gets the job done.

Mega location. We were with a men's group for the weekend. Reasonable prices. Large rooms.
Equipment with very cheap furniture, but viewable.
Breakfast is not available here. Parking is best in the Kommödchen car park.
Rather inappropriate for business travellers.
We would come back.

I travel for a living, and spend ~250 days out of the year in hotels. Never have I been treated as poorly as I was in this hotel. To start, it is a dirty hotel, with lots of stairs to the reception, which is basically a small office off a dark holiday. From there, things got worse. My company was in town for the conference, and had multiple rooms booked down the road. I booked one room here, for one night, just in case we needed another. At one point in the weeks leading up, I questioned the need to have this room, and sent a message through Orbitz, to the hotel, asking about the cancellation policy. I never heard anything back. We assumed we still had the room, and ended up needing it. Upon arrival, not only was I told that the room was cancelled, but they had no rooms. They also refused to show me any documentation showing that they received my question, and cancelled without answering me. It was a mess, and I bunked with a colleague. I was told that the refund would come from Orbitz, but it never came. Today, I called Orbitz again and was told the hotel was now saying they kept the money, there was no cancellations allowed, even though the manager at the time said they had refunded Orbitz. I then called the manager, and he could not have been more rude. After his 3rd “whatever, ” I had enough. I am putting AMEX on the case now, but after staying in hundreds of hotels, I can say I found the pinnacle of unprofessional, dirty hotels.

The reception was very good, the pwrsonal very friendly. The rooms are well-appointed and spacious, with great views, heating and a kitchen. The location is great, in the Centre of Düsseldorf with many restaurants nearby.

Very friendly staff and beautiful rooms. To celebrate the top location and therefore you should not be sensitive at night because of loud music.

Centrally located, but not as clean, fairly noisy, but beds are comfortable.

Good value for money. Nicely located if you want to enjoy the nightlife in Dusseldorf. Might be a bit noisy on Friday and Saturday nights but if you are staying in the upper floors does not seem to be a problem.

Walking distance from the meuseum. Safe, friendly, cosy. Close to the shopping area.

Really don't see the so called design, but it's an apartment. In bar street, noisy and no breakfast. Attitude of reception desk also not friendly. So far didn't find anything positive. Very loud fridge in the apartment as well!

The hotel is certainly well suited if you want to spend a very humid evening at the longest counter in the world. The staff is nice and friendly. And room rates are very low for Düsseldorf city centre.
However, this also has disadvantages. The hotel building and the corridors are quite small and narrow. The furniture of the rooms is very cheap. The floors are not really straight and covered with a linoleum, where you definitely don't want to get out of bed barefoot.
If you have a room to the street, then you have to keep the window closed. Otherwise, you get the noise of the Bolkerstraße directly, at a late hour you like to get grass erosions or loud strife.
The rooms are also not really soundproofed to the corridor; Once other guests walk through the hallway, the impression is created that they are going straight through their own rooms.
In addition, one should be prepared that the photos on the website are very well done and depict real rooms, but in a way and wise that increases them massively massively. In reality, the rooms seem rather shabby.
In addition, at the moment (July 2017) the hotel is being built and you are already at the entrance rather under the impression of standing on a construction site.

Were on the last floor. There is almost no noise. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I stayed at this hotel 2 nights (24th-26th of january 2017) and I had to sleep the night of the 24th and the day of the 25th without any kind of heater functioning, with a very low temperature in the room. The emplyee assured me that everything woill be solved for the second night only a small portable heater was provided but as I told when I saw that, it was not enough powerfull to guarantee a decent temperature in the room (that's why I asked for 2 but I had only one), infact I spent the second night also at a really cold temperature. I paid euro 282 for 2 nights and they propose me a refund of euro 28. It' s not the correct way to threat guests. Room was also very noise during the night because there is a disco close to the hotel and the music was very loud.

Perfect location in the Alstadt, close to all the action and the river Rhine. Clean, bright, white, fresh apartments. Tip: Eventhough windows are double glazed, request upper floor and pack ear plugs, so you can have better sleep.

Hotel located above the night club, hard to sleep starting 9pm till 6am at saturday. Positive is that it is in the Old Town centre.

Do not stay here if you intend to sleep. While the hotel itself is really nice, and conventionally located, it is built right on top of a night club. Seeing how Germany does not have laws regulating when clubs have to close, they go on 'till 7 in the morning. My bed was literally vibrating because of the bass. Perhaps it was because I stayed during the weekend, but I HIGHLY recommend not staying here on a Friday/Saturday. This wasn't a case of busy streets outside your windows as often is the case with downtown hotels such as these (and which can be quite easily solved by wearing earplugs), this was a case of your entire room vibrating and shaking and you being able to hear which song they're playing downstairs, word for word.

Location is great, food, supermarket REWE DM Rossman, from King's Avenue, very close to the city centre. Is a bit noisy. This week universal price is too expensive.

Super central location, pretty set up, everything within walking distance.
