Our room was heavily outdated, no storage possibilities. The bathroom calcified, were very disappointed. A cool Hotel in itself.

Black, stylish, chic, clean. Very friendly, courteous welcome, casual guests. I wasn't for the last time. In short: Recommended.

Very nice, elegant hotel. Especially very accommodating, very friendly staff.
And also the leadership a very cordial person.

The Hotel is very well located and the staff very friendly and helpful in everything. The Hotel has very good facilities, the rooms are attractive and spacious. I recommend it to anyone. All the necessary information in the check.

Stay at the hotel in Bonn and has very bad experience. Booked a big room and only get a small room. They promised to do a refund and after few months, receive no response or action from them. Expedia try to contact them and couldn’t find appropriate person from the hotel to handle it. This is totally unacceptable and disappointing. I hope the management can look at this matter and handle it.

It was quite in order. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly. If you specify the deficiencies in the staff/reception, is it happy, because then you can arrange for such defects to be repaired. The "Black Hotel", you can recommend more…

Fingers off! Overpriced! Stinking rooms, air conditioning nice to decode! Design really nice to look at, however very cheap ly processed everything.
Complaints are nicely nodded off, but happen does nothing.
Promised discounts will not be paid out. Run for 15 days after our money. Emails are answered by default with " we ask for patience "!
Agreed recalls of the responsible lady, misreporting!
During our stay, several guests, due to the strong drain tank checked out early. Already visited many hotels and never experienced such a shop!

Well what an amazing hotel! From the outside you would not know the gem of a room you get inside. It is huge!
The building was obviously in previous life a factory or warehouse. It has been renovated fantastically. Very modern, but also very comfortable. The staff are very young and trendy and very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. It is around 4K from the centre of Cologne which we and they got confused and thought it was miles. One of the guys was finishing for the day and so offered to drop us off to save us walking or getting transport. Very kind. Would thoroughly recommend the place.

I'm mega excited about the concept, it is different in that certain something. I was able to recover well and the staff is super polite! The Breakfast is what I have booked with love prepared sometimes is less more. Good access to public transport and the reception is done pointed out that a Taxi is available, if desired, to said. I quickly came to the city and had a fun evening, and last but not least in the so-called Superior Studio, what I posted above in the open, bathed… great feeling. I can highly recommend it! Thank you for the great experience I was allowed to!

A Disaster! Shady Hotel, which resembles more of a giant furniture store. No fresh air, no daylight, no Windows to the outside. The rooms were built by Sheetrock in a huge old paper factory. You can hear every toilet gear from the neighbours, fresh air is not fed and worst of all, there is no window to the outside, but only in the hall, so light a 24 per ceiling lamp, what had from the prison. Partly unrenovated, not exhaust work, plastic tub and plastic toilet, carpets are only put hung instead of moved, and an audience could suspect the you tend to other business reasons. But 120, — EUR per night… Would never stay there again!

Huge comfortable bed. Big spacious rooms. Really nice breakfast buffet. We always stay here when visiting Cologne.

We booked a room with a bathtub as it was the only reason we chose to stay at Black hotel. As we arrived we weren’t allowed to check in yet because it was 14 o’clock and we would have had to pay extra to check in 1 hour early. As we tried to get ready for a night out we realized that there was no hot water! We weren’t able to shower at all because the water was freezing! Afterwards we spoke to the rezeptionist which was also the owner of the hotel. She was sorry about the hot water situation and told us that the hot water works in some rooms but not in each one. She said she’ll fix it and send us a wine bottle to our room when we come back. As we came back to the hotel to enjoy our bath (the reason we booked the room) the hot water still wasn’t working and there was no wine like she promised! What a lie! The next day we spoke to another receptionist and she didn’t even excuse herself for the inconvenience. She said the next time we’ll book a room she’ll give us 30% off. But without writing down our name or anything. The problem is that we had the same problem the first time we stayed there and the receptionist said the exact same thing!

It is not too gothic. Almost normal. Breakfast is good.

Horrible. I paid £140 per night just the room. The room is very hot due to the distribution inside of an old factory and the air conditioner does not work. The only solution they proposed was to leave the window open until the next day when I can move out the room. I could not sleep properly, I have heard the TV of all the guests and the shower is broken. After a long day travelling, I was hoping to rest but I did not. It is a pity because the room is very nice but I will not come back again and, for sure, I will not recommend.

Nice location and unusual hotel. Our room was Big & beautiful. Staff was friendly.
The breakfast buffet was too expensive for me and because I am a "pea counter" I have to note that at the (high) ceiling was uncleanly painted and partially still stuck the crepe tape.
But I would always book again because the room was so pleasantly different.

A hotel exactly according to our tastes most awesome is the bathtub.
The beds are ultra comfortable.
Breakfast is just right for a hotel of this size.
The staff was super nice and very helpful.
We will definitely come back.

I tried to cancel a reservation, even called to ensure I would not be charged for it and I was fully charged for 7 nights (even though I did not stay at the hotel). For months it's been hell arguing with banks and hoping that someone from the hotel would help me out. However, they were reluctant to speak and they have never replied to any emails nor have they faced the situation… WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.

Poorly processed rooms, loose and sloping parts.
The room service does not clean the rooms properly, dirt and water margins are striking and in the toilet there was no toilet paper.
The worst is the band rehearsal room in the backyard. After I submitted a complaint to the reception several times and I was only put off by the fact that someone would call the police, I was the one who had to call the police.
When it was 23:30 pm it was also tolerable from the noise.

I had rented a suite and can only say I was pretty excited. It was like on the pictures and the rooms were really huge. Also the design, in an old factory, was very nice and modern. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything was clean. Only the toilet was a bit spartan but the bathroom generally all the better. As previous speakers have said, there is actually a rehearsal room below or next to the hotel, but I did not feel it as noisy and also did not disturb it. The breakfast was so far OK but could have had more choice. All in all but its very good hotel for its price.
