Very nice hotel in the center of Cologne on the Severins Bridge. Located near the Rhine port and the Chocolate Museum. Good connections with public transport. But you hardly need them, because you can quickly reach the old town and the cathedral via the Rhine promenade.
Sometimes you have a beautiful view over the city and the Rhine.

The rooms and other facilities are already very designed.

A good hotel where everything fits. The rooms are large enough and clean. The breakfast is sufficient and delicious. Only the rooms directly to the street side are a matter of taste, from 7:00 in the morning the traffic starts and you have to either close the window or start the day like everyone else.

Great hotel — nice and clean in a good location with parking. Consistent with the chain. Not the first NH hotel I've stayed in and I dare say it won't be the last.

Reallt friendly staff in an excellent location however the A/C didn't seem to make any difference and had to sleep in near 30 degree heat with the window open and the associated noise. Otherwise the room was comfortable and the hotel seemed clean and well appointed.

Although ugly from the outside, but I had a nice modern room. Only drawback: only bathtub with shower curtain (however clean) instead of a shower. The breakfast is very versatile and actually has everything to offer what you need. Reception staff was extremely friendly!

Hotel in the old town. Cologne Cathedral is not far. I also recommend to visit the Orthodox Church of Constantine and Elena. NH Network hotels are always at a high level!

Good hotel with excellent breakfast. Centrally located directly on the Rhine. Good starting point for a visit to the old town.

Nice, clean airy rooms. However, it's a little noisy because you can hear the traffic outside. The bars open till 1 am, but our barman was a little upset when I arrived at 12:30am. There's a large flat screen TV in the bar and music. Breakfast is tasty. Continental and English Breakfast. Also, pancakes, crepes, rice pudding are on the buffet. Soya milk is available and also fried eggs, where normally it's just boiled and scrambled. The fresh fruit is also fresh not from a can and you can also have smoothies and yogurt drinks. The hotel is located opposite the chocolate factory and just a short walk away from the river, restaurants and bakeries.

Rooms are ok so far. An attempt was made to partially paint the wall. Which looks a little funny. We would have liked to have breakfast at the hotel but 22 € per person I find absolutely exaggerated for the offer at the buffet. Also the parking fees of 17 €/night I find a bit too high. But on the whole a decent hotel with reasonably clean rooms. Class is of course the location directly on the Rhine and the short distances to the old town and the pedestrian zone. On our next visit to Cologne, we will examine the hotel selection in more detail. But all in all for a short trip to recommend!

From the outside the hotel makes a good impression. The rooms are very comfortable.
If you look closely, you discover some carelessness.
The walls are sloppy painted and on the curtain someone has probably left a lively souvenir in front of us (see pictures) is this at the end of an hour hotel?
22 Euro for breakfast only professional can afford.
Smoking is only possible at the front of the main road. A smoking corner with canopy in the yard would be desirable.
The fridge is buzzing all night.
The location in the old town is good.
Unfortunately, the in-house restaurant never opened. Probably closed for wealth if you look at the prices on the menu.
All in all, it is probably enough for meetings during the week.
Well. Next time it goes to another hotel p. S. I wonder how 4 stars are defined.

Room is not big, is average/lower than average, not great shower, there's no plug in to charge your phone by the side of the bed. Small things that are obvious and that you expect to be there just because are basic. Actually nothing is great. No bikes (not even for rent) which lots of other hotels offer. There's nothing extra, no pool, no nothing! The 2 stars goes because it's totally not worth the money, so I wouldn't recommend it. For the price you can stay in a much better place! The room/stay would be ok for 50€ per night (but they charge more than double of that! ) There's no need to over pay if you can do it for less and with better amenities.

Very noisy, my room was 50m away from the Severinsbrücke. Sleeping with open windows was a torment. Closed the windows were well insulated.

Good hotel, excellent location to the center. Friendly staff, good service. Especially pleasant for weekend guests, breakfast is possible on Sundays until 12 noon. Fresh replenishment is always provided at the buffet.

I loved this hotel. Very smart overall. The restaurant was excellent. Best if all I loved the rooms, which had a inter door to make them totally soundproof. The hotel is alongside a busy road but not noticeable at all in our room. Also located beside the Main river so would stay here again. I would highly recommend this hotel to any travellers.

Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Dogs allowed. Central location, but still quiet, despite main road. Free Nespresso coffee. Parking at 17 euros too expensive. But directly under the bridge you can park for 4 euros. Highly recommended the hotel.

Extremely comfortable and clean. It's in a great location and the breakfast was delicious. No complaints from me. They also have complimentary water and sweets around the hotel which is a nice little touch. Would definitely go back.

I spent a night in this hotel.
The staff are very nice and always listening to you, hearty breakfast.
In the room, good bedding but cushions a little soft for my taste.
The night of calm, not heard a noise that either in the corridors or level of the pavement that is in front of the hotel.
The hotel is well located to visit the Chocolate Museum and the Olympic Sports Museum. For the city centre, count a big 20 minutes but it's easy to get there and there are many shops and other museums on your way.
So I would recommend this hotel for course stays.

Good location Good starting point to reach city and various museums on foot. Used in the week by business people, on weekends many short breaks.

— Hotel well located: Despite not being in the centre, the location is good for visiting the city, right on the Rhine. There are also some interesting museums and one of the Christmas markets.
— Good service: The staff is friendly and helped us when we needed it.
— Very good breakfast: The breakfast is very complete, with a wide variety of fruits, breads or sausages. The price of the same is also high.
— Acceptable price: As always in hotels in this category, their prices are high often, but with patience we will be able to find promotions on the Internet.
— Good Housekeeping: As in most NH, cleaning standards are very high. No complaints about the room or the front desk.
— Two points to improve: As I said, the TV in the room is very old, something that can be improved. But above all something I did not like is that despite being a modern hotel you have to climb ten steps to access the reception, something that can annoy the visit to people with reduced mobility.
Therefore, I recommend this hotel on a visit to Cologne, especially if you get a good promotion as it is a quality hotel.

For me yes a good 3 star as a four star hotel. The cleanliness in the bathrooms which was criticized I can not understand. I also see that the equipment is a bit dated and kidney-like. I would like to say that shower curtains in the bathrooms are very outdated.

Very pleasant stay, very friendly staff. We are often in the NH Altstadt and were always very satisfied. Excellent location on the Heumarkt.

Sizeable and comfy rooms. Also handled an unplanned fire alarm very professionally. A little farther away from the City centre than we had anticipated.

Found the hotel great. Modern but simply furnished. Meeting room was large and well furnished. Hotel is easily accessible, both on foot and with ÖNV.

The room was nice and will be cleaned every day if you like. People attending the front desk are friendly and very helpful.

All in all service wasnt that good but the bar was nice.

The room was decent except for a strong smell of smoke. Staff only offered us another room for £20 more. We ended up leaving for the hotel across the street.

Fitness and sauna are open only in evening hours. That was a bit surprising. So if you plan to visit Jim in the morning — forget about it. We visited the hotel for Christmas Eve 2015. A decent service but without the little ones that are found in other channels. The room was clean and the hotel restaurant was open which was not the case of others around.

Lots of noise from the Highway behind us. Otherwise a very clean, friendly hotel. Situated close to köln old town, well within walking distance of all the tourist Hotspots. Access via train von Köln hbf takes around 10 mins.

Very nice hotel! Large, immaculate room! Friendly multi-lingual staff at the front desk. Walking distance to Kölner Dom and the city center. We'll definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Cologne!

Nice hotel on a busy street, you wouldn't know it with how quiet the rooms are. The rooms are very clean you can tell how much pride is taken to keep them that way. Mini bar in our room, a little pricey, but all mini bars are. Plenty of outlets and light switches. Wi-Fi was acceptable 5mbps download speeds. Although the free internet expires after 500MB, additional days were €9. I would stay here again.

A very nice and quiet hotel.
Had a double bed room in the 5th floor to the main road which window open but a little annoying was, due to the tram which intervals in regular went over the Rhine bridge, this was very tolerable when the window is closed.
The room was already a little in the years, but had a nice bathroom and a gorgeous double bed, everything very clean.
The breakfast buffet has something for every taste. And if something went out is provided immediately for replenishment. The staff throughout the hotel is very friendly, attentive and helpful.
On the banks of the Rhine promenade is one foot loose in 15 to 20 minutes with the Domplatte.
We will check in there again during our next visit to Cologne.

Mold in the bathroom and not cooling ventilation / air conditioning. No Checkinn point before 15.00 hrs. Billing address suddenly from a company in your System, although privately booked… I would personally not post again. With 4 stars, the expectations higher.

We were to 2. There. On foot it was about 10 minutes (Hbf — > Hotel), if you go directly on the Rhine go. The Breakfast was varied. The room and the Breakfast room very dusty!

Decent room, a bit of an expensive breakfast considering what you get. Good area, close to some really nice restaurants.

The rooms are okay so far. The staff is friendly and helpful. Only the location of the hotel is ugly. My room had a view of the Severinsbrücke. Those who don't particularly deep sleep, the traffic (24 hours continuous) already interfere. Also the accessibility is not a Hit.

I find much more beautiful and better equipped the NH at the Friedrichstr. This NH has come in the, you can absolutely recommend.

Lovely hotel in a great central location. Room was absolutely spotless and faultless, nice wall mounted TV and a great size room. Skysports1 on the TV too which is always nice. A 30 second walk from the Rhine, about 10 minutes from the Dom and bridge. I will be happy to use NH Koln next time I am in Cologne.

Was 2 nights with my girlfriend here. The lobby looks really extremely classy and the staff is also very nice.
The rooms are well equipped and very clean. Against a slightly bigger TV I would have to say nothing of course: P
Also the bathroom is very nicely decorated and very clean.
I was personally very comfortable beds.
Only drawback is that at least our room was a little dark.
The road noise is really extremely disturbing with the window open. However, the sound insulation of the window is excellent. And thanks to adjustable air conditioning in the rooms, the window must be not necessarily open.
The location is by the way very central to a stroll on the banks of the Rhine are 15 min for example on the Cathedral.
If I need a hotel in Cologne next time I'll check here aufjedenfall again.

The carpets smelt of urine in first room, we were moved rooms but the carpet was still not very hygienic. The reception desk were helpful, however, did not look at upgrading us or assistance with moving luggage even though we had a baby. For the cost of the hotel plus additional cost of parking at 17euros per day I would look elsewhere in future even if at greater expense.

Here we come back definitely, good eaten and especially our children were very satisfied. The people at the reception real very gedienstig and service minded, especially true everyone very friendly.

Hotel is very new, everything clean and tidy. Earlier check-in free (2: 00). Of course a bit noisy with the window open. Hotel 17€ / day, 20 metres away under the sex appeal you can park for €4 / day!
We like to come back.

We were four in August to Gamescom in Cologne and I became aware of the Internet through a travel portal on the hotel.
Rooms:
The rooms were beautiful, all very neat and clean. The equipment was exactly as stated on the home page and have nothing to miss. Also from the street noise you got with nothing by the well-insulated Windows.
Catering:
As a Board, we had only breakfast. The selection is really huge, if something was empty it was filled again very quickly. Taste everything fit very well, we were generally satisfied.
Location:
Located on the edge of the old town and you can explore the city just fine from there, to the DOM, you need half an hour on foot.
For trade fair visitors is close to a tram stop, from there get no more transfers directly to the trade fair.

Well for 4 star, I want to hear any street noise. With what it is to endure. Park rates for the underground parking too expensive. Would rather go with the smart. Breakfast is excellent.
