A great restaurant for a small town! I recommend to try a roast of roe deer with foxes!

Hotel us service good, unfortunately the service in the restaurant in the evening was not so great. Noodles were missing from the ordered food. No excuse. Stale beer, 3 cl instead of 4 cl for liqueur. Cyclists instead of beer. You had to wait for drinks. Usually also ask. Even if it was stressful for the staff. This must not happen.

I've been here twice. The first time everything was great and the food delicious! Unfortunately, the second time I was ignored by the servive forces for so long that I went without the possibility to order anything. 3 service personnel were on site and only 3 tables were occupied.

I was rather disappointed, was guided by the reviews because, I was here for the first time. Condition was very brisk and drinks we also had very quickly. For the most part, our food was overseasoned greatly tasted the salt and nutmeg. The peas at my child were hard, the schnitzel had no recognizable meat fibres (TK — the product) and the potatoes were somehow all the same size and you don't have any traces of peeling (finished product). The fish sticks from my other child were totally dry to them but the panade was totally soaked by the fat. The pasta totally boiled. Well evtl. After all, they are better in the hotel series.

We were here for the weekend and were very happy. The room was perfectly adequate, all clean and big enough. Breakfast buffet sufficient and enough choice, coffee was brought up quickly. The staff was always friendly and had a smile on their face:-) we would definitely come back.

We have lived here a wonderful short break. The hotel room is quite adequate. Restaurant and breakfast buffet are highly recommended. It is very well and abundantly stocked. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We like to come back and recommend it to anyone.

The hotel is badly renovated. For one night in a double room we paid about 80 euro incl. Breakfast.
The bathroom in the room was too small, silicone joints were partly black or only drübergepatzt.
Toilet is not properly screwed and wobbled while sitting.
As a special thank you a bottle of water waited for 3.50 in the room. Unfortunately, this was already three-quarters drunk on arrival and this is a no-go. Just like the stained bedding. The lights in the hallway did not have enough motion detectors and so we had to walk up some stairs in the dark and along long aisles.
The windows are from the outside with color spots Versprizt because apparently someone has painted but no one cleaned the windows. Towels old and thin as a handkerchief.
Unfortunately I can only give 2 stars.

Comfortable rooms. Very friendly staff and great food. We felt very comfortable.

The restaurant is comfortably furnished. The menu was adequate and we were satisfied with the food. The staff is sometimes somewhat inexperienced as to — and take off the plates or drinks. Otherwise, we were satisfied.

Nice hotel.
Who likes it old and rustic is just right here.
Breakfast and dinner were OK.

When we decided to go for a meal, we landed there. We searched and outside a nice place. Besides us, there were two other tables outside. However, at this time only one service was on site. The food was delicious. However, the operation was a bit overwhelmed.

Nice room, clean, spacious. Service friendly, fast. The menu for New Year's Eve party was delicious especially not commonplace.

Hello together, my wife and I have now been to Stolberg several times in various shelters. We were allowed to experience the post office, chancellor and copper, staying only in the post office. Previously, in other hotels. To copper we can say everything very clean, very accommodating staff, comfortably furnished and good food especially the breakfast. Be sure to test the orchard (brandy). Chancellor we were eating several times and also having breakfast. It didn't really look appetizing at the breakfast buffet. To a rancid sausage, almost nothing left there (we were 9am there) and all totally overwhelmed. Very bad warm air in the room around that we sat in front of the gas station. No teamwork ability all run wildly pointless through the area and forget the orders. We were there for dinner twice. It is important to say how you want to have your meat no matter which variety, because the chef likes to cook everything dry. Good was a vegetable platter that was the dream. But even there, you didn't notice any team ability. Unfortunately, we must also say that dishes were not really clean. The gas station itself would certainly be happy about a few craftsmen as the hotel has come quite a bit in the years, starting with the ground.
The room in the post office was lacerously cosy and perfectly adequate to stay overnight. Maybe you should add some paint here and there and please add new towels.

Room good. Sausage cheese was probably 7am in the warm dining room. We had breakfast ☹ around 9Uhr15 no question would you like scrambled eggs or fried egg.

Nice staff. Great breakfast. Room a bit old but clean.

Food was very tasty "knuckles" and for 12, 50 not dirt cheap but ok. Service was impeccable and a baby chair was also available.

The village has been refurbished to a new age, maintaining the characteristics of 200 years ago.

Nice hotel, but it looks a little bit old. We were there for breakfast, this was good and the waiters are very friendly.

Hotel has long outlasted its best times, the rooms are lived out, the covering is unreasonable, my room was not vacuumed or cleaned the bathroom. The staff is unmotivated, Loveless prepared breakfast is barely populated no label to the different juices and offered Quark, or yogurt. In the summer the rooms under the roof are uninhabitable because of the heat, so privacy is different.

For the price of a super hotel, everything was clean and the food very good. Completely satisfied.

The food (Roast goose, red cabbage and dumplings) made a heated impression. Taste okay. The service was inattentive and bored. Unfortunately, the price — performance ratio is not here.

It was all better. It's okay, but.

We were on the 11.5.2015 for lunch at the Chancellor. We were very disappointed, but on a Monday you will not have much choice. The table cloths were full of grease stains and bread crumbs. The food looked good, but was out of the freezer. Two of us had Lendchenspitzen, which not even warmed through and were kinda sour taste. Lendchen were definitely not, and our stomach also liked it not, and it expressed me diarrhea. Once and never again.

We were at the end of June 2014 for 6 nights at the Chancellor Hotel (guest house) is located. The room was spacious, the bed was good. The chairs were longer, Sitting uncomfortable. If you lay in bed and still watching TV, so we got after some time, the Neck pain. Because the TV is too deep to stand, it would be better if you have the TV on the wall would. In the hallway stood the Cabinet, in the man / woman couldn't find, because the hallway is poorly Lit. Now the bathroom is large with plenty of space. We wonder why there is a huge shower was (Size 0, 70 X 0, 70 m) In the morning: the Breakfast buffet was in the first 2 days to 09:00 PM very nice abgefuttert. It was listless, or better don't even filled. I wonder if the staff in the evening after my question when it is morning the best time to have Breakfast, us 09.00 said, then would the buses away. The next day was the buffet the Best. Now a big praise for the Entire staff. Friendly and before coming. They went to every request of us with a friendly smile and a good saying. In the next few days you have our desire from the eyes to read. We would the Hotel Chancellor any time to Book again.
