A delightful Hotel with very friendly, helpful staff, inviting and cozy interior, delicious Breakfast buffet. The location on the historic market square is ideal to explore this charming medieval town.

The location is excellent to reach everything well on foot. The room is super, very nice view on the marketplace. Quedlinburg is always worth a visit. Breakfast we will try in the morning, but it was rated very well.

The Hotel zum Bär is our favourite hotel in Quedlinburg and that is why we have stayed there many times. The house has charm, is very lovingly furnished and is run by very nice, friendly people. We say every time you visit the Hotel Bär that you can relax here wonderfully.
In any case, we award 5 stars, if it were possible also 6!

Central on the market square. Cozy rooms, very friendly staff. No elevator for handicapped people. Excellent breakfast. We are happy to come back and recommend the hotel.

I can only rate the restaurant and that was very good.
Very friendly service, interesting selection and now to season a good menu. Our dishes were all very good. The outdoor terrace on the historic market of Quedlinburg is also highly recommended.

Upscale price but great rooms, good cuisine, best location and nice staff. Parking spaces behind the house and another reserve space available. Breakfast also very good.

Great, small, charming hotel right in the centre. Especially attractive at Christmas time. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is rich and delicious. The evening meals are also highly recommended.

The hotel itself is quite nice. Very old and actually has a lot of charm. Unfortunately, we had the misfortune to end up in a room under the roof chair in the backyard. The room was small and dark as there were no "real" windows. Just skylights, so we couldn't look out. For 105 euros the night, a view would have been nice. Breakfast was not exceptional, but ok. The employees were nice and courteous. So when booking, please ask where and which room you get.

Restaurant is not good to the hotel. The operation is good, but the kitchen shows defects where internal processes do not work.

Very very friendly man at the reception, knew on every question of us an answer. Nice clean spacious suite, with super mattresses, opposite the hotel, good breakfast with extremely friendly staff in service.
At dinner in the restaurant nice ambiance with pleasant prices.
The food was good, on beef could still be worked, if asked if the meat should be medium then it should not be served dead fried.
Although located in the middle of the market square, it was very quiet at night, until 5 o'clock then the baker was delivered under the house the bread and rolls stock.
Kaffeekapselmachine in the room, mineral water to welcome, all good.
The city of Quedlinburg is a great city with friendly people everywhere, only Mondays a lot of shops and restaurants still remain closed here lags a bit behind.

After the slalom through the crowded entrance area to the coffee we were served by the friendly staff, although only after about 15 min. But dear operators prefer not to offer strawberry cake before frozen strawberries come on the cake.
The Brocken pie was worth trying to get, but for more than 4 euros the piece is too expensive.

Lovingly furnished and directly on the market. The offer is so varied: breakfast, delicious cakes, snacks and lunch.
The prices are good and the staff is extremely nice.

We would prefer to go back immediately. Overall very good. Centrally located. Directly on the beautiful market and the city Hall lit in the evening.

We had a nice double room to the market, it was not too noisy.
Had to fight the first night with mattresses, but these were exchanged immediately, after a little info from us.
Bathrooms are very clean.
The breakfast is generous and the coffee replenishment almost always works!

In the restaurant we were not eating as we were on the way and could eat something there on the spot.
Staff is nice too, you have to shoot someone all over the place, but this is not going to break the overall impression.

Rather a year-old and relatively impersonal atmosphere. Service was rather slow but friendly. The cakes and cakes are good, even the minor were nicely decorated. A children's play area has greatly enhanced it for us. Gladly again.

Rustic Hotel in the centre. Highly Recommended * * *. Very friendly and always helpful staff. Kitchen very good. For older guests Unfortunately there is no elevator, but the luggage transfer is carried out by the staff.

Very nice room. Loving service from the reception to the very varied breakfast buffet — even for our dog there were great attentions in the room and restaurant! We like to come back:-)

Restaurant is highly recommended. High priced category, but not covered. Good regional cuisine — pumpkin soup highly recommended. Sufficient portions, so that after the main course a dessert still finds room (unless you had the soup off the front;-) )

I was able to spend a few days in the hotel last week. The room was very spacious and cozy. The old planks creaking something, but that belongs to the flair of the house. The view of the Christmas market on the doorstep makes you feel like the glowing wine stand in front of the front door. The breakfast is very extensive, many sausages and slices. Fresh fruit — not from the tin. The staff at the reception, the breakfast room and the keepers are very friendly. You feel right at ease in the hotel.

Very good hotel. In a privileged location. In front of the market square, the most important of the town. First thing you start assembling the stalls and it's a pleasure to watch everything from the window. The people who attend the hotel are very helpful. So did the restaurant. The restaurant remains open until late, quite an exception in the village.

Nice hotel in the middle of Quedlinburg, right on the market. Rooms are with private bathroom. Large selection on the breakfast. Nice staff. Parking is a little hard to find.

The coffee was bad, but the cake was pretty good, and so was the white hot chocolate.

What a find! Right on the main square, a stately several hundred years old hotel. Really helpful service the grabbed our bags and rode with me in the car to their free parking — good thing because I never would have found it even though it is right behind the hotel. Full service restaurant with seating inand out, and a good free breakfast.

Beautiful, comfortable ambience with very friendly staff. =D In addition, a great breakfast buffet and good food, all together result in an absolute feel-good atmosphere. :-) The price — the performance ratio is also absolutely fine, so I can only recommend it! We will certainly come again ;-)

Did a spontaneous visit of the restaurant with a group of eight, including two very young kids (3&5). Staff was super friendly, there were lots of toys and colored pens for the kids. Was a super smooth evening that way. For was of a very good quality, though maybe a bit small. Would return for sure.

We were with the motorcycle because the rooms are all very nice, the staff all nice and helpful it's great we were all satisfied and will probably come back.

Were super nice in the Hotel. We were even up in our room, accompanied by the staff. The Breakfast was great, a little bit of everything. And the whole staff is super friendly. We have us felt very comfortable and would always visit the Hotel.

Hotel directly on the market square = number 1; the one must then pay! The Service, the rooms and the location compensate, of course! The sumptuous Breakfast buffet of very high quality. Large spacious double room with plank floors (the creaking was included :-) ). The young lady at the front Desk was a little slow and sluggish, what one of the ladies in the Service can't say. Who is the "Old" and the Tradition like, is in this house of Anno 1780 in good hands.
