Great place for rest with lake views. The houses are really comfortable, clean and are prepared for cooking your meals. You can go swimming if you feel like. Definitely a place to come back again.

Very nice place. Good for relax. Nice to stay with family to spend quality time.

We stayed in the cottage and took care of ourselves. From the hotel we used the bread service, was good.
We also used the sauna, is very nice, but the relaxation area unfortunately far too small, there were only a few loungers shaws otherwise very nice.

I felt very well kept and the furnishings in my room were chic, functional and in a well maintained condition.

Certainly still a secret tip, but not for long! Accommodation, breakfast buffet and hot meals were topped by the bank! Very friendly staff. I certainly haven't been here the last time!

Our room was spacious and very attractively decorated. The breakfast buffet was very plentiful and there were also regional offers. The surrounding area offers plenty of variety even in winter. Within a short time you will be in Wittenberg, Leipzig or Ferropolis.

The hotel is very attractively designed. The room is very nice and spacious. We had a terrace with a great view of the lake. The breakfast is plentiful and there is something for every taste. Highly recommended.

The environment is really great. Large lake with very clear water, several jetties into the water, area with beach, several possibilities for activities. Well suited for families.
Unfortunately, the prices for the nights are in itself. There you can get away with so many holidays including a cheap flight.

The service a catastrophe — after 1:45 hours of operation, it was due to demand that the food was not yet served. But we must also say that in the meantime there was no demand or eye contact with us.
The horror and shame were evident and all costs were enacted to us.
The food was first class and was freshly prepared — just for us — only.

Pleasant Gegesamtensemble, friendly staff, rustic farmer's parlor and a chef of format. In the surrounding area is the Grosser Lake.

Quiet and a great view from the (deluxe) — room. A large balcony, coffee maker, underfloor heating in the bathroom. No minibar. The front desk was involved in a moderately engaged, information only on demand. The breakfast is OK, the selection is not really big and only until 10am, as well as the checkout, which is clearly too early, especially on weekends. If you stay longer on the Früstückstisch, you won't get kicked out, which is nice. The sauna has a wonderful view of the lake, the relaxation room is too small with 5 beds and without any charm. Near a small game enclosure with deer. The dinner was excellent, only the décor in the restaurant (also breakfast room) with pink armchairs was not appealing. For the quality of the food offered we found the prices rather favorable.

Today for the 50th birthday here in coarser for brunch, just delicious, you can only recommend it, thanks to the chef and the super nice waitress. A great day.

Ideal for walking beautiful landscape but often overflow every visit worth a visit.

A spontaneous short trip took us to the lake and forest resort of Val Gardena. All around there is not much here, a beautiful lake, a path around it and viiiiiel tranquility. The hotel is very modern, everything still looks new and chic. The sauna, overlooking the lake, is also very beautiful. There is also a changing room with some utensils.
The staff is super friendly, both in the restaurant and at the reception.
The Friederike storm caused us a power outage on a day of our stay. This one actually lasted until the following day and our check-out.
The team of the hotel went to great lengths to ensure that our stay, even without electricity, became an unforgettable one. We got candles and a flashlight on the room, as well as a great dinner from the grill on the evening in question. In financial terms, too, we were given many concessions, given the exceptional situation.

The hotel looks nice and the surroundings are also beautiful.
We were there for buffet food on the 2nd Christmas holiday. 35 euros, proud price! It should be possible to follow up on dessert and not to pick up the last windbag in the same way, for example. In the case of appetizers, the same! And it wasn't LANGE just 2 p. M. (end of buffet food). On the first Christmas holiday, this works out for you in the house.
It is also a pity that on the second holiday you make recycled recycling from the previous day (maybe only partially). But then please NOT for 35 euros per person! And perhaps the staff should quietly exchange views on it. The guest can only be disappointed.
Vegetarians, unfortunately, also come up far short and not at their expense, perhaps a suggestion for next year.

There is now a children's menu.
The staff is well informed and can give an immediate answer. Recommendations are pronounced and extensive advice is also given on drinks (in my case gin).

The service in the restaurant does not match the stars at the front door. It is abundantly unprofessional to read from the note in front of the guest and to conduct self-talks. All questions must first be clarified in the kitchen. The food is OK, but I expected something better than the standards. There is nothing on the map for children. The large glass front is great if not the fingers and hand prints tarnish the look. The toilets had the cleaning condition of a resting place toilet. It can't be like this if I want to decorate myself with four stars.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. You will feel most welcome. It is a place to feel good.

A very nice time here. Food and rooms at a high level. Staff friendly. We come when the weather is good again.

The food is tasty, if not a great selection, friendly service, cozy atmosphere.

We stayed at the weekend for a class meeting at this hotel. Were warmly welcomed and greeted with coffee and cakes. On the first evening we enjoyed the beer garden (located on the pond, Supi! ) a good supper from the menu and on the second evening we got a nice cold/hot buffet. At any time we were served very friendly. The hotel is well located for excursions. Thank you to the boss who explained the environment to us in detail. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately a gewirtschafteter operation despite a nice ambience and environment. The room, towels and sheets were clean and smelled fresh. However, the laundry is partly damaged (holes, loose threads) and has come into the years. There were many insects, especially spiders, which were not hung since yesterday. Also a clean room should be checked beforehand. Nothing for house dust allergy sufferers — old carpet. The staff was very confused, no one knew about the other, it seemed as if the reception and the bureaucratic was never carried out by new guests. There is no receipt block. It reeked all over the old frying. What a pity.

We were eating for dinner in a group of 16 people. The beverage order ran for the first time without any problems, while eating it became somewhat strange.
One waitress picked up the food and the other wrote it on slips that were assigned to each pair.

(These price differences were unfortunately only noticed in the evening when we arrived again in our accommodation. )
As "appetizers" were offered among other things tomato soup and also seasoning meat. After ca. One hour came the first main course, when asked about the starter it was said that one had to ask in the kitchen first.
After a few have unsubscribed their starter, I have to insert here once, that the food otherwise so far has tasted very good.
However, a food has been completely forgotten, whereupon from the boss (something seemed as if he had what to say) not even an apology or an espresso offered as compensation word, he meant only he would have nothing to give away.
The greatest impudence, however, was that when we paid the waitress, we said that she should remove the appetizers, after all, we did not eat them. And what did we think about checking the bill? Of course, the appetizers were still on it.
The 2 stars I only gave because the food tasted good, the service was the worst I have ever experienced.

Its a nice place with nice service and good food and the landscape is beautiful.

We were two and just ordered something to drink. Sat outside at a small pond. Nice ambiance and friendly staff. Location is very good as you only run about 5 min to the coarser lake.

I have been to the hotel Grosser am See for years and am enthusiastic about the restaurant as well as the rooms. Very good value for money, the food is delicious and the waiters are also always friendly.
Tip: The Inn is great for celebrations! ;-)
