Today, they tried to hike the Müggelsee from the Rübezahl to the east. Unfortunately, I have to say that it is not quite worth it. The nature is beautiful, but the lack of undergrowth of the lake is almost unsightly. On a distance of almost 3 km there were only three places where one could get to the water. In addition, we noticed the strong fashionable smell, which made the visit very unpleasant in places. Since this was my first visit, I didn't have too high expectations. Was, however, somewhat disappointed that the tourist development and maintenance was carried out so poorly. I was also amazed by the hotel complex in this area. Of course I will give the location another chance, but next time I will rather head west.

Ansich very nice beach to relax, play and romp, unfortunately the water today (7.8.18) was full of algae, duck grotto and just green. Perhaps that is why the entry fee was lost.
At the beginning of the summer, I am sure that I would not go there today. Too bad, but the hot temperatures in the city also leave traces in the water.

Reachable distance from Berlin, good beaches, already a bit commercial based on the restaurants around it, so it's not so alternative as other lakes in Berlin, but ood for water sports great for running to refresh, and bike tours.

A grand lake bug enough for ferry service routes and water based leisure sports. The side we were on which was the opposite side to the beach area accessible by the tram was ok. Lots of seaweed under water which was hurting our feet. But perhaps we chose a bad spot.

Beautiful for nature but on the one hand, in my opinion not well suited.
Almost all shores have grown by reeds and on the northern beach there are meadows, but the lake on the shore is far too shallow. You have to walk very far until it gets knee-deep at all.
Not my case.

To escape the big city jungle. Beautiful lake. With many possibilities (boat rentals, bike rental, bathing, hiking, food and drink) My recommendation to take a bike — but please do it with the small Müggelsee. Beautiful nature. Sometimes beautiful or slightly less beautiful bathing spots. Once you have shot a round, you can certainly decide where to get back to it.

Müggelsee is probably my favorite one in Berlin. It's quite big, maybe one of the largest in town, it got a proper sandy beach (which you have to pay for, unfortunately) and the little hill that overlooks the lake, only makes the view more interesting. On the hill you've got a bunch of restaurants and cafes from which you can admire a beautiful panorama of Berlin. The lake is located in a really picturesque neighborhood that looks more like an independent village rather than an area of the city, also because, in order to get there, you have to go through a big forest, which separates it from the urban jungle. Getting there it's gonna be an easy task, thanks to the great invention of the S-bahn. From Alexanderplatz, without changing, it only takes one hour plus 10 minutes walking from the station. Something that I truly love about this place is the fact that it's surrounded by pure Nature, which, of course, makes everything more pretty. Water is crystal clear, overall a very clean lake. Restaurants and bars, not too many though, can be found around Müggelsee. If you want to have more culinary options, then I would rather go into town, which only takes 5 minutes. Definitely a place that needs your attention!

Loved it! The beach area is fantastic to relax, the place was clean and there was a great atmosphere. You can also walk all around the lake to get your hike on, although you do need to take the ferry on one point to continue.

Beautiful view, great to spend a sunny day and escape the chaos of the city for a while. The forest nearby is also beautiful.

It stinks modrig everywhere, real undergrowth cleaning doesn't take place, all very unkempt. From the path view of the lake is almost impossible. As a destination for excursions, the great Müggelsee has subsided even further.

Beautiful lake, near Berlin. Special to go as a couple or as a family on a sunny day. Good connection with public transport.

My favourite lake in Berlin. Whether in winter or summer always worth a visit.

One of the best lakes around Berlin. Accessible with public transportation (tram stop is just in front of the beach entrance). Entering is free of charge. There are some kiosks around to get basic food and drinks. Better bring an umbrella (or come very early) since the sandy spots under the trees are limited.

Beautiful lake for sunbathers, walkers, swimmers, and sailors. The elegant restaurant at the lake can be rented for celebrations. If it's cold and windy, outside, the restaurant is too cold, though.

Beautiful lake, good for walking and enjoying nature not far from the capital.

Worth a visit again and again. From the station Friedrichshagen run, the Bölschestr. Up to the Spree tunnel. Gorgeous!

There has been a positive change in recent years. I was pleasantly surprised.

Local recreation area at its finest. Good conditions for hiking, running or cycling.
The Müggelturm as a destination or stopover is always worthwhile.

Old East German squad hotel, but a fine place for the SEO Campixx.

Once in a year, I'm in March at the hotel Müggelsee. It is something out of the shot, but it directly at the Lake. The hotel is clean. The rooms are well maintained, if also somewhat in the years to come. The CRT TVs are already cult. The food tastes, the coffee is fine. Expensive parking, but who 2 minutes wants to walk, can park for free outside the barrier. Staff is courteous and friendly and also known in the region.

Nice, quiet and cozy hotel outside of Berlin. You can relax there really.
Clearly it is somewhat isolated but it is me the bus quickly in Köpenick and can travel well. Who complains can also apparently only write reviews, but Google maps use not for what it is good, namely to see where a place is located… ;-)
The staff is very friendly, courteous and always helpful.
The rooms are no longer top-modern (television from the 80/90s), but clean and comfortable. Also that there are no free Wi-Fi is today tend to be unusual.
The breakfast is very good to eat with extensive selection and the possibility on the terrace directly on the Lake.
The dinner buffet is alright, but it has not knocked us.
The Spa is equipped with 4 different saunas, a Jacuzzi and ice water basin.

Small Tip: should the bar, as in our case due to 3-4, visitors to the Spa, be not occupied, it should be in the next upcoming vending but some juices give us not Cola/Fanta/sprite and sparkling wine.

Been here for a conference. Nice rooms, everything well prepared, very nice food and overall good.

Nice location for a meeting. If it is not housed in the hotel itself, expect 20 euro for a taxi after Köpenik. Bus comes every 20 minutes.

This year the star cut in half. My non-smoking room smelled strongly cold nicotine. Housekeeping tried again unnecessarily with air freshener against to work. In my small room 3 single beds were distributed. The room direction parking directly above the main entrance where during the event around the clock frenzy there. The TV unit is 4:3, and is held by wooden slats in the small box. The Wi-Fi still 5 euros per day (2016! ), etc. And for that I'm paying over 200 euros!

First and last time! Room was dirty — dog hairs on the floor a lot of dust. In bathroom water was dripping from the ceiling, we've got second room and there they have left ours dirty pampers on the table… It s no go!

I was with my boyfriend 1 week in the hotel müggelsee and the food service staff, everything was ok. Except the cleaning of the rooms there was the lamp and the switch and over to the bed, still dust, but otherwise it was great. I will go there again.

We were 2 nights in this Hotel. Staff not particularly friendly, almost always when Smoking is disturbed. Rooms old and with cobwebs adorned. Shower mould and water was not running. Sink clogged. Balcony with cobwebs and bird droppings are almost not usable. In-room crowds of insects (no insect screens on the Windows). Reply was "we are a Waldhotel.

We were a weekend with the family (8 adults, 1 seven-year-old child) in the Hotel at Berlin's Müggelsee lake. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous, to requests immediately! Thumbs up! Lifestyle is very extensive, even with food intolerances to large selection. Staff always had an open for requests. The sauna area is recommended, bowling and foosball table top, Rooms clean, everything was available, what you need. Environment top, lake to swim directly in front of the door. Parking a bit expensive.

Was there 2 days in a Workshop. The air and temperature in the meeting room were unbearable. Lunch was very tasty. Service unfortunately only average.

Service with Say-Me-Not-On-mentality. Nowhere a Smile. None of the staff seems to be the Job to make fun of. It was only an event with 50 people — as is the Reputation doesn't matter. Vacation I would, despite the fantastic environment here will not stand.

The rooms are very old and with old furniture and an old CRT TV equipped, the balcony is dirty and the new bathroom is small. In the wardrobe there was only a clothes rail and a rear parcel shelf. Therefore for the most part, as in the youth hostel from the suitcase lived. For the rest of the stuff you would have at most the empty fridge can use. The dinner, a Buffet, was for the most part, only from Fertigfrikadellen, Tiefkühlkohlrouladen, ready purchased Spätzlen and Desserts from Tetrapaks, or plastic buckets and other ready-made meals. The Breakfast on the other hand was up on the coffee in order. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at the reception and in the Restaurant left some to be desired. We have been in many 4-star Hotels for a great vacation spent (room, food, Service…), and therefore they were just shocked. A shame, because the location of the hotel is super. You would just have some money in the facade, the rooms and the grounds to invest.

Conference hotel directly on the lake. Slightly aged rooms, taut to Campixx in the spring, right on! Bowling alley, soccer live, plenty of Parking spaces directly at the house and Telekom Hotspot. For events with larger groups, which remain undisturbed want, ideal.

Not very excited. Eat insufficient. You could be between six different dishes. Three Times meat, three Times a fish. Vegetarians had bad luck. On average, the price was for it at 14 €, sirloin Steak, there were even 18 €. For this price you expect something really Good. The fish was cooked until tender (where actually everyone knows that salmon is grilled or roasted and never cooked) and the Pasta tasted of nothing at all, it was not flavored with salt. In General, lacked almost every food salt and other spices. Service: Consistently a disaster. To start with, we had booked and our table just has been used. On the food, we waited for 45 minutes. The idea of the empty drinks nachzufülle or Ask, no one came. Conclusion: His eating high-sounding names (handgezupfter Lettuce, chicken in Parmesan-Egg-shell, on Ratatouille-size bed) and a good location on the sea, just not always, especially if the food is not special and you are always much too long to wait. Also, prices are too high for too little performance.

The Hotel is quietly located on the Müggelsee located. A pity was that there was no direct beach at the Hotel, but they are either in a bathing beach driving or in front of the Hotel at the pier into the water. The rooms were clean and properly equipped. The Saunabereicht is with 4 saunas really top. The Massage included in our package with this was, it was professionally done. The Hotel has bike rental. The bikes are available in front of the Hotel and you are looking for just one of them and picks up the Hotel key. Very simply made, but works great. The Breakfast was very good, with warm temperatures, you can also on the terrace outside for Breakfast :-).

The hotel (the ' hardware') is not bad; only the staff at the reception is very rude, incompetent and ignorant.
