Hotel was great and cosy! Nice rooms, good breakfast, friendly stuff. I recommend it.

Let's be honest, if you're in Berlin for sightseeing and touristing then this is the place to stay. You get in, shower, sleep, wake up and out the door. Very well connected with the S & U bahns, plus tram as well. Located on a strip with loads of cafes, rests, shops and anything you might need. The nighttime check in was a bit shambolic though, we had to get our keys at a nearby mart as the reception closes at 23 and that info wasn't forwarded to our email. Still, pretty convenient for a couple of nights. Under same circumstances I would definitely repeat.

No-nonsense hotel in a pretty central location. Really cheap while still having spacy, clean rooms. They don't have many facilities though, and especially the lack of airconditioning meant the room was very hot. Staff is friendly and the breakfast was included, making it amazing bang for your buck. I would say it is worth 4.5 stars.

A European minimalist motel in what I used to know as East Berlin. I like it.

Cheap. Basic. Very friendly. Clean. Easy access to underground. Would recommend.

Nice 2 *, lovely patio, comfy beds, huge bathroom, there is a big TV, in the lobby there is a pool table. The repair is quite fresh. Breakfast at 7. €5, but near the house there is a good cheap Vietnamese restaurant and kebab, there is a decent pizzeria. Not worse than many 3 * hotels. Very bad Wi-Fi is the biggest minus. Near U-Bahn and S-Bahn and different trams. Tegel Airport is a maximum of half an hour by public transport.

Very nice reception, uncomplicated and helpful, very good public transport connection (tram, S-Bahn, subway) and very quiet location in the backyard. Simple amenities, but everything you need for a city weekend. Comfortable mattresses (and I'm very critical of that! ). We'll be back! We had booked a triple room as a double room with Du/WC.

That's just the real Berlin flair! may not like everyone but for us the whole is very sympathetic. Very friendly reception and the overall impression is neat and clean. Above all, everything is handicapped accessible. Many possibilities for a nice evening or a weekend are right outside the door.
We have tested it once and will definitely come back.

The price/quality is optimal. For the young and the cheerful spirit. Just a quiet and peaceful place to stay with a good breakfast, hospitable staff located near the U-Bahn and S-Bahn. Loved the:)

You get what you pay for. A clean an functional place to sleep. No bells and whistles. Large groups are possible.

Beds, except a few exceptions, slept through. For €48 a day and a half-board is unfortunately far too little offered. In the apartment there is only a TV with broken remote control, a scaled kettle and a! Gemeinschaftsklo for 8 people!. The shower heads are moldy on the toilet. The only positive is the relatively good connection to the subway and thus city centre etc. Prefer not to stay longer than 3 days and insist on a room, not an apartment.

Comfy hotel with lovely bar, child-friendly lobby and most important, very reasonable price. Although it's not in Berlin A zone, it's still convenient because of public transportation and shopping center nearby. Except some outdated facilities and small single bed, it's still good place if you're on a tight budget but don't want to stay in hostel.

Friendly staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable. For the money but totally OK. S train nearby.

This is close to a tram station. It is a 5-minute walk to S + U train station Schönhauser Allee. The rooms were clean. Bathroom was small and also not the latest. There was no hair dryer and no TV. Service from the front desk was very good and super nice.

Price-performance was top. We were greeted very nicely by the staff. Room clean and adequate but little outlets available. Breakfast was extensive, everything you needed. Location of the hotel directly on the subway, so you can be fast in all places. Hotel is recommended! :)

We have travelled commercially we were opened by the boss the door which immediately approached us whether we are not able to operate the bell. Since we were retracted by car and did not know that there is no parking in the yard, said this to his receptionist that he would prefer to install a self-firing system so that no one could drive in the yard… more unpleasant statements followed… The hotel is an old nursing home even the sisters Bell is still available. The beds are simple and do not offer the best sleep the facilities are rather youth hostel for that billiards and bar… All in all the staff can do a sorry… Never again!

I have been driving to Berlin for years and always book a room at the Hotel 103. Here is always living in the house, there are great job opportunities, such as billiards, books, darts, etc. The breakfast is absolutely OK and one is within a few minutes with the U2 at Alexanderplatz. I am satisfied and will always be happy to come back here.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms are very basic, and include bedding and towels. Doors are a pain to open. It's more like a hostel experience rather than a hotel experience.

Hotel that is in a strategic location because there are so many places to eat, gyms a shopping centre and several supermarkets. It is also close to Metro and suburban as well as tram stops. Hotel clean, staff Young, polyglot, helpful. Affordable prices tending to "low".

The hotel is clean, well located, close to the monuments and squares to visit. Bad notes are those of having at the reception a very grumpy employee, little helpful in helping you, do not have double beds, and consequently linen for such beds. They don't change your towels everyday, if you finish the shower soap I don't know why they don't recharge your dispenser. Bring a phone because this is the first hotel that I find that does not have the phones in the bathrooms. Positive note and to have a great breakfast room served by a friendly staff.

Hotel clean but with many flaws, do not have hair dryer, have no double bed so much less blankets double, suitable only for single, do not change towels every day, at the reception some grumpy clerk, but in the breakfast room There is a very good staff, very helpful…

Air conditioning was on in our rooms, which we didn't realize so the first night was rather cold. Elevator is rather rickety feeling. When asked for a second key card for our room we were told there was only one and second "would take awhile" — resulted in a mild inconvenience as you need the key to turn on the light, so it was hard to break the party up. The hotel was clean, but the doors are infuriatingly hard to open.

Great location, cleanliness and friendliness. Metro a 2-minute walk away. It also offers bike rental. Great breakfasts.

Simple but absolutely sufficient rooms. Cool and modern public area. Very friendly and helpful staff with useful insider information to the area. And it's a bargain!

There were some staff here that were very helpful. It's in quite a good location and had a games room. Good Wi-Fi here and breakfast was quite good too. I'd go back there perhaps.

Decent hotel for the money. However, the bed was very hard (even by Euro standards), and the pillow was flimsy. I was also hot as there is no A/C, which is normal, but they also didn't have a fan in the room. Internet also wasn't great, but decent. The common facilities are pretty nice.

It's hot humid and they don't give fresh linens or clean the rooms.

I stayed 3 nights. The hotel is welcoming, clean and there is needed. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel location is great, just 4 stops from AlexanderPlatz and the area is full of shops and clubs. We had breakfast at the hotel, along the road leading to the S there is Pastry/Bakery Bisquitte where they make really good pastries and sandwiches.
I recommend the hotel to anyone like us is always around and back to the hotel only to sleep.
I would definitely stay there again.

It was very cold because the heating didn't work, the shower head always fell down, the sink didn't run off and too many people were stuffed in one small room.

For young people who a city break want to make super suitable (+) -Elevator -Games room with pool table etc — good location, can easily reach any destination from there -a quiet backyard (-) Wi-Fi is just running extremely slow -mini TV in the room.

The staff at the reception could have been friendlier. The rooms were quite OK, if you think about it hinwegsieht the window does not close properly. Also the W-Lan was not too promising. I'm sure the one for the money something mehrversprechendes in Berlin.

(+) -friendly, funny staff; ideal for young visitors -Elevator -Games room with pool table etc (-) Room&bathroom very closely -no Parking in the surroundings, only fee-paying places, if you are not a resident is -despite a request was the room until the last day not cleaned, also dirty towels were left partly in need of renovation.

This is a Hostel bicscher not a Hotel, Large room with only one electrical outlet and light switch next to the door! the shower was not clean, the Breakfast was good, for this price you can find better.

Stayed 3 nights, 3rd-6th Oct 2014. Lovely place, nice and clean. Staff extremely helpful and friendly especially the young man working on the Saturday night, great taste in music (Ice-T). Well worth the money and great location. Will definately recommend and come back. Loved painting a canvas for the hotel wall of Art. Xx.
