Very nice hotel, our second home is in Berlin and is called Intercontinental. Can only recommend this hotel, friendly service, great and friendly staff and the flagship of the IHG group where I always like to stay.

Amazing 5 start hotel… lovely service everyone was very generous … the food and the amazing pool and hot tub … the outstanding room I stayed in just perfect.

And so much more here. And the Service is 5 star all the way. But the food. Just always amazing. Even in room service and the ladys who clean and do turn down service are perfect. Just love this Hotel Group. Only 3 minutes walk to the Zoo. And 7 mins walk to best shopping In Germany as to offer and always sale's so even better.

We enjoyed the Executive Lounge and their staff were so friendly and welcoming, the service was truly exceptional. My grandchildren loved their stay here, and easy access also to public transport and nearby shopping mall. Buffet breakfast was excellent and great for a morstart with a beautiful selection. Thank you Intercontinental, we truly enjoyed our stay and I would definitely recommend to anyone.

One of the best hotels I have stayed on! Realy friendly staff and very Nice and clean room with a great bed and bathroom. The poolarea was very relaxed and with a warm pool and spa. Great location next to the zoo and lots of shopping and restaurants.

Best place for organising a conference. Lot of places and they provide a lot of facilities.

Just a horror! I made a reservation through Booking. 2 rooms. Family with a small child 1 year old. We arrived earlier at 12:45. The receptionist said that the rooms are not ready yet. We ate lunch and came back at 2:15 pm. We are already at the reception desk 45 min with a small child. The receptionist is staring at the monitor screen as if he saw it for the first time in his life. Two other people with a wise look on their faces also look at each other. I have not seen such inefficient people for a long time. There is still no room : — (50 min! Can you believe? This is a 5 star hotel or a cheap hostel? After 50 minutes standing at the desk desk very nice and eloquent manager suggested that we wait in the bar because the rooms are not ready After 50 minutes, the service came up with the idea that the guest did not need to hold the desk at the reception desk Congratulations on the speed of service for hotel guests. It's been 1 hour and nothing.

Did 4 nights here on my first trip to Berlin. And as you’d expect from a 5 Star, it was clean, great customer service, the buffet was beyond amazing, and the gym and pool were both quite nice. It’s close to a lot of shops and food outlets and also near the zoo so that is a great place to start a hop on hop off tour! Overall was an amazing stay.

Everything corresponds to price and quality!

It is a very good hotel. The room was just having enough space. I like the coffee served in room. The indoor pool also great. You can spend your day by swimming and enjoying jacuzzi free and spent some money that worth for a nice spa, sauna, steam bath, ice bath and another relaxations available.

Disappointing compared to other hotels of this brand. I had already stayed in Intercontinental hotels in other cities/countries and I was very disappointed by the one in Berlin. The room was quite small. We've had trouble during the whole stay (a week) to get housekeeping to clean the room. We've had to report this problem to the front desk almost everyday, and the employees we talked to always seemed annoyed by our (simple) demands. The breakfast buffet was very huge and the food very tasteful. The spa area was quite nice. You can access for free the pool and Jacuzzi, but you have to pay an extra charge if you want to use the saunas. I will not stay in this hotel again, and don't recommend it, especially if your are used to Intercontinental luxury standards. This one definitely doesn't deserve its 4 stars.

A great hotel with lovely rooms, perfectly located, but one incident crossed out all the good things. We did not study the rules of residence in detail, including the indication of a fine for smoking, and my friend, having decided in the morning to smoke in the window, was noticed by a hotel employee. Yes, we are guilty, but the size of the fine should be commensurate with the violation, and from my card without warning (! ) just silently wrote off 300 euros! Why, if I didn't smoke? Why didn't you ask who to write off? Why such an idiotic sum? Then I wrote a letter to the hotel about this precedent, but no one even thought it necessary to answer it. So sorry, but count.

The hotel is nice but I was only in the bar. They have great staff they are extremely friendly they serve variety of drinks. Smoking area is outside and it's full seating area.

A great hotel, great service, great place. Located in the center of West Berlin, with a Zoo next to it, KDW (shopping mall) just have a mile away, and numerous places to you out and eat. Intercontinental features pool, SPA, gym, tasty breakfasts, helpful staff, great service for decent price. I totally and completely enjoyed my staying.

One of the first addresses in Berlin. A hotel that is very well run. Here the organization, the service, the friendliness, the cuisine in all areas is right. The rooms are very nice with the most modern interiors and chic new bathrooms and the perfect cleanliness in the hotel is also very important to us. We can recommend this hotel in a prime location in Berlin.

Staff, rooms, service, food all 5 star. I found nothing was too much trouble during my stay. My generously sized room looked over towards the zoo but it was very quiet — I will definitely stay here again.

After my last stay in Berlin I had 2 days meeting at this hotel. There are really many seminar rooms equipped with all the technical possibilities. The staff is very friendly and competent. The staff will be on hand to answer any questions. Due to the enormous size, even groups of several hundred people can easily days. I stayed in a hotel next door, so I can't give any information to the rooms.

Such a nice place. Breakfast buffet is a must. Spa area is quiet, pity they charge you for the sauna. Friendly staff, good location with easy access to the city. Only remark I have is the airco is a bit loud even at low ventilatio. All in all, perfect stay, thank you for all the details and attentions.

Very nice staff restaurant which is called Tims. Here you can always meet nice colleagues at all times of the day and night. It is always very clean here and everyone also voluntarily cleans his dishes and rubbish away. And before I forget, even non-operating guests are welcome here at any time. Cost per meal approx. 6, 00 — 8. €0 incl. Cold drinks.

Yet another phenomenal Intercontinental hotel! Luxurious, spacious, breath-taking, are words that understate this fabulous hotel. Amazing service, Delicious Pancakes I mean food, Perfect Location. I love this hotel and would recommend it to anyone as the best in Berlin.

A luxury hotel but at the same time informal, that puts at ease all types of clientele, offering services in line with the standard. Helpful and smiling staff, prices often cheaper than hotels of lower category.

Terrible hotel. Rooms are small, decor is outdated, too few lifts and service is bad. Was put in a room next to a construction site (with power tools being used from 8am) for 3 nights. Was offered 1 free breakfast as compensation. Lots of much better options at similar prices very close by. Do not stay here.

Good hotel if a bit far out of the centre. Rooms comfortable bit AC would not get cool enough. 2md time here and probably use again.

Well, what can I say. As business travellers we have stayed in various Hotels. Unfortunately, I have to dub some of the things in the inter — Conti as a poor — and unfortunately, especially the most important point: cleanliness
Dirty bathroom, traces of previous (pretty bad for the guest, if it is not discovered until late in the evening, when it is actually on the way to bed…), verkeimter shower head, round water stains from objects of its predecessor, dusty glasses… Sorry, but it is an absolute NoGo! And I'm not really the guest who is looking for a white glove to points of criticism. The furniture is already pretty worn out, and in the years to come — so a worn-out Desk, I see not even in 3* Hotels. Bed sheets clean with gray spots/traces, at least on the other side. The second star I give is only for the friendliness of the staff and the food. All in all, I would not book this Hotel under these circumstances. It may be that I was unlucky, but cleanliness is the A&O, then I can see about worn-out furniture away.

Great breakfast in LA Cafe. Wonderful setting. Decent neighbourhood. Has a lovely Michelin star restaurant on the 14th Floor (Hugo) with amazing views. Peaceful and yet not far from the highlights. The Tiergarten is very close with the zoo. I would recommend this hotel!

A little regular of average elegance. Breakfast is fine but to be a five star it lacks quite glamour. The pool has its ok. There are a lot of absurd services for exorbitant prices.

The breakfast was super tasty and the selection gigantic. The family room is highly recommended. You can also eat in the room very well. Room service with baby only recommended.

I was in the summer of 2017 at Interconti for 4 days and was very happy. Much is in the immediate vicinity, the Pakrservice is very fast, the staff and the service are the same as it is for a hotel of this class. The room was very large and new, bathroom equipped with bathtub and shower and the cleanliness was also in no way to fault. A clear recommendation and a whole 5 star! Keep it up!

This Hotel, despite its famous brand now does not stand any criticism.
Today, as yesterday, there is a multi-thousand conference. This is the niche of this hotel today. Ah, staying in Berlin is better in other hotels.

This hotel has a great reputation, and I have stayed here many times in the past 10 years. However, in recent in recent years the quality of this property has greatly declined. The people working at the hotel, all have a great attitude and are extremely friendly and helpful. But in other areas the hotel has gone down hill. The cleanliness of a hotel is a big concern to me, one of the most important factor for many people probably. His hotel is dirty. It looks nice and clean, but that is just superficial. I take my shoes off when I get into a room to get comfortable, if I'm barefoot or wearing white socks in my room here, quickly, my feet or my white socks turn black on the bottom. The padded headboards, that we all lean against when watching television or reading in bed are filthy. I bought some disinfectant wipes at the local Rossmanns and cleaned the headboard off, the white wipes turned dark brown. Disgusting. Wiping down the telephone and the television remote yielded similar the disgusting brown wipes. On my two previous stays, about six months apart, the toilet overflowed. On this most recent stay, the bathroom sink was extremely slow to drain, nearly overflowing. In addition, the television Entertainment package is quite meager. I would expect a much better selection for entertainment in a upscale hotel such as the InterContinental hotel. The location is good, and the food from room service has been very good.

They just keeps charging your credit card long after your gone… no shit check our account after a stay here because I had the experience that they 3 days after my checkout reserved 480 euro on my credit card and when I called they apologized and canceled the reservation but now they instead just made a new one at 160 euro they just won't stop…
Fine hotel and the view from the 12 floor is amazing but I just can't give 5 stars when there are so many small things that they should better. Like not calling when room service should have been delivered to say that they unfortunately only can make one out of there five choices and there's so many small things in the junior suite that is not in a 5 star quality.

Luxury to afford. You don't have your birthday every day and a "round" one at all. Why not visit Berlin and a great hotel? The staff is courteous without being intrusive. The central location is ideal. The hotel's décor is understated luxury.
The breakfast buffet is a show in itself. Extensive and good food.

The location of the hotel is easy to reach from the nearby Metro and train stations. A Stone's throw from the zoo and the aquarium. Close to the main shopping streets. Very nice Hotel, very organized. The rooms are very nice and clean. Imperial Breakfast with a whole table dedicated to healthy and vegan products. Spa included in the room rate. Free Wi-Fi. In The room there is also MA. Free coffee/tea/chocolate machine (waffles included). Very good value for money.

Great hotel amazing room, amazing view, great location and wonderful pool and spa.

The hotel needs a refreshment, especially in the lobby.
Unfortunately the lobby is too small, you can't retire, lots of restlessness and too noisy. For conversions for exhibitions in the EC the toilets are closed, you have to take big detours. Just don't go. The restaurant is too frumpy and the passenger lifts are arranged incorrectly. I hope that in the next time the conversion brush will swing.

Centre of Berlin, fantastic area, closeby to everything. Rooms were spacious, great service. Very good food for breakfast buffet. Stay was fantastic. Bathroom had an odd gap in the door and the shower was slightly difficult to control but overall bathroom was really nice. Overall was really great.

I was there for the seminar. Actually the hotel is really good. However, the bar service was really flawed. As a group of 10 people we preferred to see how we put together tables instead of supporting them. Then no order was taken forever. We would have liked to order something else, but were continuously ignored.

A chic hotel, both in size and content.

I was in family a for a meetng of three days. The family A and very nice functional R has wide spaces for collateral meetings, to report the level and quality of the catering.

Every time I go to Berlin (2x/year) I'm staying in this hotel. They generally have great weekend rates, beautiful rooms, excellent pool + sauna area. Really a beautiful hotel, also next to the zoo and many shopping centers. I had one problem with the bed sheets throughout the many times staying here, and the problem was solved immediately by the staff. Excellent breakfast, also… not the typical hotel breakfast, much better. Thanks!

Room is in good shape and the hotel is clean and up to date. Bed is comfortable and quiet. Pleased with how close the hotel is to U-Bahn, Bus and major stations. Shopping nearby is great and there are plenty of food options within a 10-30 min walk. A major U-Bahn Station is just a 10 minute walk away but the 200 Bus stops right outside the hotel which is very convenient since it goes to lots of useful areas and other major stations.

The Hotel is clean and comfortable. The Price is about normal for this Area and comfort level. The breakfast buffet don't met up the expectations.

Great 5 star hotel with modern rooms, and great customer service oriented staff. A major plus is the spa facilities with a lap pool, saunas, and an herbal steam room. Only minor negative is the at times spotty internet but if you're doing Berlin right, it shouldn't really be an issue.

Good customer service can not be taught, one has to posses it naturally. It is obvious that InterContinental makes it a point to hire people with fantastic customer service skills.
We have stayed here a couple of times, and each visit treated like royalty. When any member of the staff gives a smile, (which is quite often) it feels sincere.
Our luggage was lost during this trip before arriving at the Hotel. The wonderful staff here were genuinely concerned there might be things we needed while waiting for our luggage, "Is there anything we can get for you" they asked. We were offered toothbrushes and paste, I was able to borrow a plug adapter to charge our electronic devices.
I have had a couple of decades in customer service myself, and so when I receive excellent customer service I am inclined to write a (well deserved 5 star) review.

A beautiful hotel with excellent service. We had a room with two twin beds. It was a very comfortable sleep! The room is spacious, elegant, and clean. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I went down to the concierge for help getting onto the Wi-Fi and ending up walking away with sightseeing information, restaurant recommendations and a voucher for a free beer in the hotel bar! Would definitely stay here again.

I have done a lot of hotel and this one is one of the mallets I have made. Cleanliness of the room, reception, availability of the staff… everything is top! I highly recommend, the breakfasts are fine, and there are for all tastes.

I was there to follow a conference, the Wi-Fi was a can slow, but usable, which is rather rare at the conference.

Very nice hotel with a friendly staff. Took off a star because the beds are terrible. They are incredibly firm, making it feel like you're sleeping on the floor. Everything else is great, but those beds need to change.

International luxury hotel. Classic, high-quality equipped. Very good business — and Convention Centre. The really significant and very helpful service begins even before the door and runs through the entire stay. Restaurant, hotel or conference area.

Goods in March 2013 for 4 days in Berlin. Had a standard room, which has completely convinced. Very comfortable bed, one could make the bathroom by 2 sliding doors to an open, so even from the bathtub watching TV was possible. Toilet behind an extra door. All in all perfect room. For breakfast, huge selection, fresh squeezed juices. The additional staff for the preparation of various heisgetränke, and table service.

Modern hotel with upscale amenities. Rooms are handsome and comfortable. Breakfast is quite expensive though offers a fairly decadent spread. Prices are steep; book ahead (2+ months if possible) to save substantially. Service is accommodating.
