Nice clean cheap hotel. Well located. Staff friendly and very helpful. Beds are very comfortable, I slept so well.

When we booked our stay, we left a comment/request saying that we would arrive 0400 and we'd like an early check in. When we got there, the front desk saying that they have read our request but nobody took care of it. And he then gave us a room saying, "I'm gonna let you stay the night free of charge and your room should be ready by 1100. " He didn't give us key card, he used his own keys to let us in to our room (which is against to any hotel rules). But then I just assumed that since he was letting us stay for free, we wouldn't have our own key card til we get our real room by 1100. Following day, the manager made us pay for 200Euros, and didn't understand what I where I was getting from — — we didn't have to stay if the night shift guy didn't tell us to stay in for free. We couldve stayed in a hostel for the night (FOR A WAY CHEAPER PRICE) when all we needed is a place to sleep for that night because we had just came in from a 4 hr flight. We didn't even have our own key card, which again is against the rule and we're entitled to have our key card if were atleast paying 200EURO. We suffered to the miscommunications of the staff. Staffs are rude and not helpful at all. Now I've got to do a long distance phone call from America to Germany to resolve this matter, because this hotel isn't worth 200Euros a night.

Room is clean, kitchen looks good but haven't tried it. The bathroom is great but some of the lamps weren't working and there's no main light.

Hard to recommend. It depends on your priorities. The rooms are average, the furniture is reasonably modern and the bathroom is clean. The TV is tiny, the Wi-Fi mostly poor. In my room the window was damaged and the chair almost fell apart. The building is old, not much to look at. It's mostly quiet, because it's located in a side street, but that also means that you have to walk quite a bit for a subway station or even a supermarket. My room had a small, primitive kitchen. Still you have to pay extra in order to get the necessary utensils to use it. The staff was average. If you want a quiet and affordable place in Berlin with a kitchen and don't mind the downsides I named, go for it.

Die Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet, allerdings staubig und die Badezimmer sehen ungepflegt aus. Das Frühstück ist umfangreich und zu Empfehlen. Minuspunkte sammelt die Koordination der Rezeption, Frühstück wurde nie korrekt für den Mehrtägigen Aufenthalt eingetragen und generell hat nichts funktioniert was wir angefragt haben, nichtmal der Zugang per Karte zum Parkhaus der schon in der Buchung angekündigt war. Die Preise im Parkhaus sind sehr hoch. Das Hotel soll hier die Preise wohl nicht festlegen. Das Personal rät: An der Straße parken für 9€ statt 19€ am Tag. Kostenloses WLAN wurde geboten.

The only thing that comes to this hotel top is the location! Otherwise, there is nothing of a given three stars in this repurposed plate construction! The price is definitely too high for this mediocre hostel. The existing 5 star ratings seem at least dishonest.

I think the service is lower then expected from hotel of 3 stars. The worst thing ever is the problem with internet, it is not acceptable to stay 3 days without internet connection in hotel 3 stars. Each time when we talk to the hotel workers they said its ok we will check, but each time they give us a new password and it is not working, you can not connect to the internet with 2 devices or more at the same time. The second problem, there was a kitchinette but when we asked for somthing to kook in, they said you should pay extra to rent the tools! While it was not mention at booking that we should pay extra. THE GOOD POINTS: Very very very good place, near to every place you want to go, really good place. And also the breakfast was worthy.

Rooms are clean, not badly placed, near nice places to eat and subway into Berlin.

Excellent style in the rooms, black style throughout the hotel, clean and tidy, polite staff. A Hearty breakfast! Close to the center, zoo, Manki bar, fountains. Lots of Interesting things!

Room service not good, no lunch and dinner facilities, breakfast. Limited… Not satisfied…

The room is OK, the bed is stuck against the wall so one of the people who sleeps there has to go out front and has no light table. They receive you with a water with gas, jaboncitos, shampoo, 2 envelopes of coffee and 2 of tea, as base there is an electric kettle and cups to drink coffee, but nothing else. If you want to cook have to pay the 15eur of the kitchen kit, which must be very present because if they offer a kitchen is for cooking! The hotel is not in the center of Berlin, the truth the location is somewhat uncomfortable as you have to take a lot of the Metro, but if you have the possibility to stay by Alexanderplatz or by Checkpoint Charlie Those are really downtown locations.

Typical three star hotel without luxuries but economic and quite clean. The bed is comfortable and the room has a small kitchen is a positive point, although it lacks a suitable space to eat. The reception staff a bit dry. The neighborhood is quiet and quiet, quite close to the Brandenburg Gate.

Just but everything is not necessary there.

From the outside, relatively unobtrusive as a hotel. But from the inside you have your three stars right. Delicious breakfast, nice rooms and superfriendliers staff. Would love to come back here.

Hotel located in very quiet area and close to the center, very clean and friendly staff. If I were to return to Berlin I would definitely stay at this Hotel.

Hotel in a comfortable and quiet position, close to the bus stop, very well maintained with functional services. Great breakfast. Been for 4 nights for participation in the Itkam conference as a bell delegation. Recommended.

Small but comfortable rooms, decent breakfast, centrally located, parking is relatively easy on the streets. Quiet residential neighborhood. Good for walks.

Incredibly. I am disappointed with something like that. This is not a hotel but a bad youth hostel. A former residential building converted into a hostel. The hotel did not deserve this hostel. Everything siffy. Bad Wi-Fi u have a full 2 hangers in the cupboard. Here, one with little investment makes a lot of money.

Very nice place near in the Zoo zone in Berlin. The room was quite small but clean and confortable. The recepition is opened H24. Cheap and nice. Will book again for sure next time in Berlin.

Quiet good location in the center, nice staff and audience, some narrow franz. Beds. There is no need for more.

Comfy rooms with several appliances (microwave, stovetops, water cooker, hair drier). Walls are slightly thin — you can hear the elevator doors and people dragging chairs around. But being able to check in at all hours is a great plus — we came in at around 2 AM and it went fine (with previous booking and payment).

Would not go here again. Hotel is very no frills, room was quite small but functional. There is a small kitchenette with a fridge, microwave and hob. There is a safe and a very small wardrobe. Bed was bit small for 2 people and was up against the wall so one person has to climb in from the bottom if they want to get up in the middle of the night. Location wise it is quite convenient, lots of restaurants near and close to the ubahn station. Breakfast was expensive and I did not buy it. I had an issue with sweets that I had left in my room (chocolate and other candy) being taken. As in I left two of each in the room in the morning, room was cleaned, I came back and there was only one of each and the bag with the sweets in it had been torn into. Put up the do not disturb sign from then on to prevent cleaning or others from coming into the room and possibly taking my things. Absolutely do not leave valuables in your room. Or sweets especially if you actually want to eat them!

Basic but clean hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet had lots of choice in savoury and sweet dishes.

Good for the money paid. Rooms need a paint touch up. They have a tiny kitchen which was nice. Free bottle of water for the first day. Nice staff.

I stayed in this hotel for 19 nights, great service, very clean, receptionists help with any question you have about the city or transport. the hotel is located almost next to Tier Garten and the zoo, near kurfürstendamm, KaDeWe, Wittenbergplatz train station and a bunch of bus stops, there's free coffee in the Lounge, breakfast is a varied buffet, servers in the louge are great (shotout to the cuban guy Great service! ) I'd like to congratulete all employees for their niceness! will come back. oh yeah and the Wi-Fi works great.

Small and gloomy but quite tidy hotel.

Great hotel for a reasonable price. Very compactly placed furniture in the room, there are various shelves and krchki in the bathroom, which is usually not enough. The cleaning is good. There is everything in the room, including the kitchen. Nice location, centrally located, but on a quiet street, near museums, zoo, shopping malls, I walked everywhere. Also it is necessary to note breakfasts-a lot of cheeses and sausages, fresh vegetables and fruit, normal muesli instead of flakes. Overall, I recommend.

Super hotel for a weekend in Berlin very central.

The location is great, very close to KaDeWe. The room could have air conditioning, it was a bit hot (visited in June)

Kind staff and good location. The room was too warm for comfort.

Very clean and spacious. Great deal for the money. Reasonably quiet. Subway station is 10 minutes away, Busses to all major scenic targets just around the corner. Would stay here again!

Good location. Good value for money. The neighbourhood is residential and the hotel is just a few minutes walk from the zoo and from Kudamm.
The rooms are a little small but otherwise everything is great.

Excellent hotel for the money. Huge plus the availability of mini kitchen, allows you to save a lot of money, pot and pan carried in a suitcase from home) not to rent. Plates, forks, cups, coffee is.

The best hotel in my opinion on a ratio "price-quality". Great location, clean comfortable room, polite staff. Bonus — a small kitchen in the room.

Service: Excellent, caution but in the facilities. Have this year (unfortunately) > 200 nights in Hotels, what to me is the perfect Hotelkritiker. Location of the hotel: TOP (Central but quiet). Rooms: Comfortable. But then. Put me to bed and feel CHEAP materials, a no go. Means: Allergikerkissen (this is the positive description for Vollplastik) and cheap anfühlendes Lakenmaterial. Positive: call to reception (unfortunately only via externally, as in almost all the Hotels, the number of Hausapparat not turn stand) and 5 minutes later I had a feather pillow. Is really positive, mih happy made the night, but better materials purchased from the beginning would be even better :-) good night now :-) it's late.
