The breakfast service was very bad, overwhelmed staff, who made us wait up to 60 minutes despite pre-ordered breakfast and booked time. Our room cards only worked at the 4th attempt of the reception with reprogramming the door lock. The very clean, tastefully furnished rooms and the service were a big plus.

Cool bar, original and excellent cocktails and for those smokers one can smoke inside — didn’t think that was possible in Europe!

I’m currently staying at a M appartment and it’s horrible. We couldn’t sleep because the airconditioning sounds like a freaking airplane but switching it off with 33 degrees is also not the best idea. Besides that the beds are uncomfortable, hard like a rock and if that’s not enough I would like to mention some things about the bathroom. At first it smells like a sewer. The bin hasn’t been emptied and other people’s garbage is still in it. There’s molt in the shower and the sink is clogged with other peoples hair in it. NEVER had such a bad experience in a hotel like this. And I have to sleep here for another night. I’d rather cancel our vacation than staying here any longer. The location is amazing but that’s absolutely all.

Amano is located close to lots of shops and as well restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, and as well as sight seeing areas. Walking at night is safe and people are courteous. We have booked it twice in between our travels in and out of the area. Prices are reasonable. Very clean place.

Bar staff are arrogant. Reception staff were actually good although the service at reception did vary depending on who served you. The main issue for me was the rudeness and arrogance of the bar staff. The service was shockingly slow and it felt like they were doing you a massive favour by even bothering to serve you. Rooms were clean but average for the cost and the rating of the hotel.

Design hotel right in the city center. Good breakfast. Great location.

Excellent location. Nice rooms. Unless you get a really tiny room. Rumors say there's a rooftop bar, but in the 2 times I was here, a week every visit, it was closed.

Comfy, clean, quiet room with efficient AC. Good breakfast. Great surrounding area … would recommend to friends and stay again.

Verry friendly staff, always supportive and helpful. Rooms are clean and air conditioned. Comfy beds and pillows. Breakfast with a good selection of fruits, cereals and cheese and also fresh bread. Only juices selection was limited to just orange juice. Area is super trendy, good nightlife and very central location. Good access to Public transportation. Would definitely stay there again.

For this price range in Berlin I couldn’t be more disappointed. It’s advertised as a boutique hotel, but has very low facilities & zero customer service. From the moment I walked in, I was not offered help with my super large bags to the room, the hotel room itself was a box, barely fit my suitcase in it. No fridge / minibar, no glasses, or tea or anything! No room service which I can live without, but then when I got my own food I asked reception for plates & cutlery, rather than assist themselves they sent me to the rooftop bar which doesn’t even serve food so obviously doesn’t have plates. When I was in my room I wanted to open a bottle of wine & of course no bottle opener, I called reception & they said I had to come myself to the rooftop bar again to get one. On my final morning housekeeping knocked on my door 3 times from 8am! Although they should have a record I’m checking out that day & to not bother me to clean the room until I leave. The staff seemed lazy, and not helpful at all. I never post bad reviews, I never post reviews at all actually but it’s these small details & lack of care that make a 4 day stay underwhelming.

Satisfied with my stay for the most part. They forgot to give us two sets of towels one night, but other than that everything was fine, but nothing outstanding.

My son was moved 5 times last night in search of a room with ac, seriously! Beds are hard, not one amenity, I even have to supply my own shampoo! Not cool at all, will not be back. Although having just slammed you folks the front desk staff are welcoming but service ends there, what a shame.

We were over Easter there and it was great! Great location and super nice staff! We felt very comfortable! The room was clean and the breakfast was good. The location is perfect, from there you can reach everything on foot as well as via Bahn & Co! Also our Labbi felt comfortable, he was affectionately received and everything was fine. The small fee for EIM pet is absolutely justified! We would love to come back!

I liked the hotel very much. Very stylish. Service is perfect. Was there for an event, the catering perfect and the event rooms across the street are modern and functional. Always a recommendation! The location is of course just as 1a.

Beautiful hotel in front of the central station in Berlin. It would be easy to get there if only in Berlin the public transport was clear even to those who do not speak German, but no! So to find it as soon as you manage to get to the center you take a map and walk away. The hotel is modern and very nice, in a 25 minute walk you are from the Brandenburg Gate.

Staff very friendly. Stay attentive when caring for the hotel! Example: curtain in room with small. Holes. Super Rooftop bar. It is worth to book a larger room! Completely different level.

Contemporary styling with a clever room layout that menus tacky good use of space. Ideal for business travellers like me who are looking for effortless travel. Staff are friendly and efficient without being too friendly or in your face. Breakfast is classic German Euro breakfast offering, but nicely done.

I liked my stay. The staff were professional and helpful. I didn’t need much the time I stayed there but I just wanted to relax and not be bothered and I had just that. Great location. One or 2 minutes away from central station which makes it super convenient.

Just a review of the bar as I was not staying. Nice staff and great cocktails. Hotel lobby looks very nice. Dark inside for added atmosphere!

No idea why you would have a scrumptious bar like this closed Saturday lunchtime… Try Circus hotel up the road, enjoy a rather lovely ‘daytime gin’ cocktail.

All right, clean, plain. The location is great. Compared to the many accommodation that one can have in Berlin, my first reproach is that it is simply boring. Moreover, there is really nothing in the hotel room — not even a water bottle, not even for money. Reception effective, but also do not exceed the dimensions cordial or informative. Overall all right.

If you are looking for a well located hotel this is it. But the service is horrible. The reason I chose this hotel because it is close to my favorite places in Berlin. Check in was a hassle and checkout was even worse. They even wanted to charge me double. When they cleaned the room all bed sheets were not in place. Very unpleasant staff.

Overall a angehmer stay.
The staff is very nice and the location for Berlin Mitte is perfect (of course it depends on where you have to go).
The rooms are rather smaller and the bathroom (except toilet) is not separated. There are real parquet flooring and a very large TV.
Unfortunately, the air conditioner runs even if you abschlaten it completely and that also clearly audible.
The price-performance ratio is right!

The rooms are quite small. Greasy prints on cabinet doors as well as hair in bathroom. Nice staff, breakfast not justified for the price — little choice. Hotel is centrally located but very noisy as the hotel is located directly on a main road and every few minutes the S-Bahn runs long.

Top, price/performance are fully in agreement. I would even say that performance exceeds the price. Helpful and very friendly staff complete the visit.

I only had a couple of drinks in the bar and really enjoyed the music and crowd. The drinks were very good and a bit out of the ordinary, not your usual mojito's and Cuba libre's. The staff was also very friendly and took care of me.

Really lovely hotel, there was a group of 50 if us staying. Freindly staff, the bar was lovely and the breakfast was nice too. It was situated in a great area with lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

Clean and convenient. However I went on a work trip and shared the room with a co-worker — rooms are not great for sharing. Showers are out in the open and glass, with a giant mirror across from it. Awkward! I mean, who designed this for a shared room? However if your staying in your room on your own or as a couple you'll probably be comfortable.

Nice hotel, looks a little bit dark. L apartment is Nice, I prefered a larger table. Now we have a desk for two. Small basic kitchen, nice bathroom with a Bath and the bed is good. Staff is friendly, Breakfast looks small bit good. A nice hotel to stay during your visit in Berlin, public transport in the neighbourhood.

The roof terrace bar was closed so went to the downstairs one. Nice bar. Modern decor.

Every touch point of the costumer journey sucked. When help was asked they acted like we were stupid. Is like a bunch of entitled kids are running the place, not even in a St Regis or a Hyatt I've seen this attitude before. Never again. Encourage your staff to be more in touch with reality a flawless service is as important as the place to make it "cool".

We stayed here on our first trip to Berlin and this was the perfect location. We were able to walk or transit anywhere from here. Rooms are small, but modern and exceptionally clean. The staff is relaxed yet professional. Great experience overall.

Very nice lobby area downstairs with friendly reception staff. Clean room, comfortable beds, weird placement of open shower in the room with no privacy. Not the best view out of the room window. Overall not a bad stay, could be better in many ways.

I went with a friend and I requested a room with separate beds, as soon as I walked in I saw beds joined, I went to the front desk I explained my request they apologized and after a further request in the evening came to the room an attendant who disconnected the Beds of 8 centimeters (immediately reattached because there was no room. I slept badly practically in a doubles with separate sheets. Never more really unseemly! To be reimbursed 100 euro per night without breakfast.

We stayed at this hotel from 27 to 30 December 2014, the facility is new and cared for in every detail.
The furnishings of both the common parts and our room were modern and cared for in every detail, a praise should be made to the cleanliness of the hotel is in general and also of the room.
When we came back to the room we were always greeted by a good smell and a maximum cleanliness.
The breakfast room was a bit crowded, it happened to have to wait a while to get rid of some table.
However the breakfast was plentiful, well stocked with both sweet and salty and was all great.
The staff were always very friendly and helpful, another plus was the lounge bar which was located at the entrance of the hotel, where in the evening you could relax with a pleasant atmosphere.
Overall we highly recommend it for those who want to stay in a strategic point of Berlin from which to easily reach all the main attractions.

Cool party and city tourist hotel with trendy bar, cozy lobby for meetings, roof terrace bar and some very vibrant urban environment (Torstrasse, Hackeschen Markt, Rosenthaler Platz)

For what this hotel is, I have to give it 5 stars. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and the staff is helpful. It does not have the amenities that an upscale hotel may offer. There is a nice rooftop bar, though, as well as a restaurant and bar on the ground floor. The hotel really earns its stars due to its location, cleanliness, and cost-effectiveness. We were very satisfied with our experience.

Very great rooftop bar with views of the TV Tower. But the bar on the ground floor is looking can. The prices are too expensive for this exclusive location.

We politely asked to borrow a hairdryer, but the very rude power hungry receptionist refused, despite first saying they had one spare. Utterly unnecessary behaviour.

I am staying at this hotel for several nights during the November and had a great time. Room was perfect, location is very good, there are plenty of restaurants around (I recommend you walk down the street, Peel yadina restaurants, very good). Near the bar. Hotel staff very friendly and try to meet the needs of guests. Will stay again.

Good but problematic for those who do not smoke, good cocktails cost slightly higher than normal, good chance to socialize …

Very friendly staff! The hotel has a beautiful design above the bar is super nice on the rooftop terrace and enjoy his drink with a beautiful on the TV Tower… The rooms are very clean and furnished in style so I have to complain about anything and can only continue to recommend it!
