Small but quite efficient and nice breakfast in the morning. Sometimes big music noisy in the night from somewhere outside.

Nice place clean and not expensive.

Very clean room, no fridge, fresh towels every day. Water offered but had to pay €4 when we left. Comfortable beds, good location!

Age-aging Hotel. But clean. Quick Check-in. Rooms big enough. 300m to Kudamm.

Don’t recommend it. Vending machines don’t work, you can’t get an iron in your room. Average room (broken tiles and found a dead fly on the floor). Pretty far away from the ubahn (at least a 10min walk). Very disappointing.

No fridge, Tv is a joke. The few existing programs run only with snow. Breakfast is ok, room too.

The location of the Novum Hotel Franke is in a pleasant area in the Wilmersdorf district. The hotel has 66 rooms, which we felt very pleasant, because it was very quiet in total. It was quite newly refurbished and originated, like the other 5 Novum hotels in Berlin, from the 70s. We had a room on the 6th floor which could enjoy a nice view. Everything made a neat impression and our room, as well as the beds, were very clean. Only the elevator had Reparaturbefarf and was only usable from the first floor, which was not bad for us, but for older guests, perhaps already, from therefore 1 star deduction. The breakfast buffet was very good and plentiful, it was laid down when something went down, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. On the next visit to Berlin I would book this hotel again.

The Hotel Novum Franke is very clean. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet is quite good and delicious: cheese sausage, boiled egg/scrambled eggs, jam, Nutella, cereals etc. Our room was equipped with double bed, wardrobe, wardrobe stand, television, shower. TV programs are written on a map, very handy. Location is good: not too noisy; Bus station/NET/penny nearby (1-3 minutes) ; Also the Europa Center is within walking distance (we needed so 15-20 min).

Pleasant, quiet, simple hotel. Equipment OK, albeit for example With signs of use.

Clean, simple but decent, great value, good location to reach all public transport. Nice neighborhood, advisable for those who want to spend the right!

I do not recommend this hotel. They are not flexible and it's hard to get in touch with them! A star is to much!

I stayed here for 9 nights because the craftsmen were at home. Despite Green Week reasonable prices, very good bed, W — LAN excellent, safe well usable. The room was very clean and the rooms were very comfortable. My soundproof window insulated mediocre, both against street noise and against cold. On jeans and sweater I wore scarf and house coat when the heater was completely turned on. Small light bulbs in the living area. No change at breakfast.

I do not recommend unless you want extra hassle.

Very friendly service, quiet (! ), conveniently located and very convenient for me: My room had a usable desk and a safe. Varied breakfast offer. For more money there are certainly more chic rooms, but I have nothing to fault.

All good. Great value for money hotel perfect area near kurf. Instead of breakfast go to Netto super market just few meters you will be the same items for 5euro + — Allthough let me say that 9.9e for their breakfast is fair enough price for those that provide.

I accidentally booked a double room with single occupancy (mobile view of a booking platform for hotels…) and reported me directly that I wanted to use both beds. But instead of taking the price offered on that day for a double room, they wanted to pay a repayment of almost 30% on it! The hotel did not respond to my criticism at all and also the cancellation fees (which were almost as expensive as the room itself) they did not want to give me. — I have never met such a bad service, this hotel is about money, not about service and customer satisfaction! This "hotel" does not deserve any star for me to post a comment, I cross well or ill one…

Incompetent staff and lousy service.

We were positively surprised about this hotel. + Excellent bed and pillow + Calm room, well equipped + Nice bathroom with a large bath tub + Close to the Kurfürstendamm + Room clean + Good Wi-Fi + Lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance — No minibar or fridge. But there are small shops in the area which are open late, so it didn't matter that much. — Poor service attitude.

Good price-performance, room and bathroom are spacious. It is about a 7-minute walk to Subway. The location is quiet. Overall there was nothing to complain about.

The Hotel Franke Novum on the Kurfürstendamm is a mediocre 3 star hotel. For me personally, it's not 3 stars.
The location:
The hotel is located on a busy main road, which also has rain in the evening. But with closed windows it is pleasantly quiet.
The Kurfürstendamm is only a few minutes walk away. Once again a few minutes along the famous main road you reach the subway station Adenauer Platz, from where you have the most important connections in all directions.
Service:
I stood over 10 minutes at the front desk to check in although only one person was in front of me.
I was not greeted and as a first sentence you get to hear that an overnight tax in Berlin is payable and it is to be paid immediately. It's not a problem if you'd just been received differently. When the phone rings, everything can be delayed for a few minutes. Priorities to the guest are set completely wrong. At least I was then wanted in a rushed tone still fix a nice stay. At least something.

The rooms are small and feature "welcome" sparkling water for 4€, while the hallways are rather dirty and the breakfast buffet has an unsatisfactory selection, especially for vegetarians/vegans.

Nice little hotel. It's basic, but very clean and quiet. There is a nightclub next door which sometimes gets loud, but if you close the windows it's ok. The staff is pleasant and helpful, location convenient, and the rooms are a nice size. As to the lack of A/C, we visited in mid-July and it was not a problem. Hopefully global warming won't hit Germany too badly :-).

Very poor, tired, old, even the cold water wasn't cold! No air con, rude staff at breakfast, I wouldn't use this place again. A 3 star hotel? Really? That must have been a long time ago. Practically boiled in bed with temperatures… no sleep and no fans!

An odd hotel, which still largely feels like something from the 1960s. The rooms are nicely renovated though. The lifts are very small.

Lovely hotel in a quiet district of Berlin, good connections to the city center, very comfortable rooms and friendly English speaking staff.

Hotel recommended, is located in a point easily accessible to the bus stop and metro and the place is quiet. The staff was very helpful.

Nice hotel if you need stay only for night. Close to the center, room is clean but bathroom is not so good. Staff is very welcoming.

We were here last week. The comfort rooms offer everything you need. The shower head in the bathtub was somewhat unfortunate attached in room 101, getting everything wet.
Everything clean. Friendly chambermaids always well cleaned and tidied up. The location was very good — also — to the airport Tegel.

Franke spent just a weekend at the hotel, price performance absolutely ok rooms in the years come — but everything clean and tidy breakfast completely sufficient and well-balanced staff friendly and helpful.

June 18th-23rd. We had a nice stay in Agon Franke. The room was nice and clean, the staff very friendly. The location is super. In the same block you get Netto, Kaiser's and Lidl. So beer and Schinken zum Frühstück! Nice, family-like atmosphere. People who complain about these nice "mediocre" hotels should get a life. Or make more money to stay at ****/*****.

Was OK so far. Bathroom could be repeated over time. But the who wants to stay relatively Central for little money, make no mistake.

Everythinig fine, clean and dynamic.

Charm of the late 70's with prices today. Who needs it for.
