A very nice place with friendly stuff. Clean room, drinking water on the table. 5-min walk to metro station, and not far from city center. The hotel provides a possibility to leave luggage after check-out, and that was very useful.

Poor hotel. Good location. Room with no air conditioning and fridge. Watch out for those who go there in the summer. Note even more sore staff, apart from a couple of attendants, cold, grumpy and rude. Discouraged.

I've read some of the negative reviews and I can't agree. Thin walls? There was absolutely nothing to hear from the other rooms, and the hotel was completely booked up. Dirty? No, it's not dirty, some components like the rug and the grout in the bathroom are just old. Hot in the summer? Yes, there I agree. But it's far from unbearable, and I stayed there for a week with constant temperatures above 30° C. It's no secret that the hotel has no air conditioning. If you want AC, get a room in a hotel for € 10, — more per day. Stupid or impolite people at the reception? No, not at all. They're very nice, helpful and polite, and if I wasn't recognised, I was always asked for some kind of ID. Also: Free Wifi with acceptable bandwidth, a good Turkish bakery right next door, five minutes to the subway.

The walls are so thin you can hear literally every word around. Pretty annoying, especially when you have lousy neighbours, who love to talk and laugh during the night.

The hotell needs uppdates. Very difficult without aircondition. An old man working in reception is absolutly rude and unpolite.

Very close to the Metro so best location. Structure a bit old nothing negative. I change towels and sheets every day.

Good room for two, bathroom provided, maid service every day, not 4 star because of the sconodi beds that make you wake up with a bit of Maldischiena.

The staff were very helpful and the room was clean.

Hotel room is clean and simple but nicely decorated. Nothing world-shattering great but also nothing negative (except for possibly The old carpet in the house). For the price in Berlin definitely recommended and perfect for people who do not want a wellness holiday or luxury.
Quite close to Subway and bus.
Free Wi-Fi.
What more could you want?

I cannot recommend this hotel to any hostel in Berlin is modern value for the price does not room for years not modernized mattresses and the best is the water in the room which is free at breakfast.

Quite convenient location, but if you check in late in the evening/night you risk not seeing it due to the lack of directions and the sign totally off. Very warm and comfortable room, but on 4 nights we slept 2 because of the neighbors room too noisy: very thin walls plus a closed interior door that would connect the two rooms.

Not a bad location in a nice area. Reasonable three star and handy café on the corner if you are looking for breakfast etc. The bottle of water in the room is not free which was not clear. Room very clean and good shower but watch the water as very hot and just a mixer valve. Walls a bit thin!

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Shopping facilities as well as the Kuhdamm not far away.

Class accommodation. Serves its purpose, clean and located close to the center.

Despite the first doubts, thanks to many spelling mistakes on the booking documents when checking in, I was taught a better one.
The hotel is very well located (near Kudamm) and despite the reasonable price very clean. The room was very clean and the breakfast was very good.
1 star deduction as there are only 5 parking spaces for about 60 rooms.

The room was clean and simple. Very quiet and close to everything. Just next door is a cute cafe with delicious treats and yummy coffee. The S Bon and busses are right down the block. The staff were friendly and helpful. The price was amazing and I would stay here again!

Good location, near to the shopping streets, train and subway stations are pretty close. I expected the rooms to be bigger, but they are cozy and comfortable. The price is just okay. Pretty good experience, but nothing outstanding.

I had No elevator and the room was on the 7th floor. Until Q I made the payment they just told me.

Room 77 — 6th floor and half staircase — heating ancient — 3 ribs some heat 3 ribs nothing at all — and from about 22, 00 am to about 05, 00 h everything cold — and so also the room — or "storage room" of mine — in the bathroom no heating at all — shower in the evening maybe 6-7 min hei Major water — next day early at 5 no hot water at all — was a nice cold night — and all for my money… Thank you Castle…

I'll start with the negative that I find most important. First of all the hotel is worse located than they describe, because it is a shopping district away half an hour from downtown. The worst is definitely the staff in particular one of the receptionist who was very unkind and rude. Then I don't think it's normal to book a double bed and find yourself with two single beds together.
The positive is that the rooms are spacious, quiet and comfortable. I also liked that the bathroom had a pretty spacious tub.

So I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
1. The neon sign only works in half.
2. I had booked a double bed room and they sent us to a room which had two single beds then went down later to address the mistake on it. Because the unfriendly employee just told me to say you can push the beds together (it was not because in the middle of the room was a pillar), after a long discus I am the next morning in the reception and promptly we have received another room.
3. Staff should be trained urgently. Since we came in from outside, the young man who works at the reception Lautsatark shows on his cell phone he did not even notice that we were standing almost beside him only where my wife started to laugh, the phone became quieter.
4. The walls are made of cardboard you hear everything.
5. Rooms are OK.
6. Bus and bank connection nearby.
7. There is just someone coming into the room though outside please don't bother.
To sum up for 1-2 nights OK but I would not recommend it at all.

This hotel is a real gem in Charlottenburg right on the subway. You can't see it from the outside, thank God. The equipment is no longer the most recent and the façade could certainly embellish one or the other. The rooms are clean and partly refurbished. The ladies and gentlemen at the reception are very friendly and satisfy almost every wish. Breakfast offers an amazing selection of food. Another possibility for eating and drinking can be found at the Adenauer Platz and on the Kurfürstendamm, which is only a few minutes ' walk away. Ideal location for the city centre and Tegel Airport. We liked it very much. We'll be back.

Price OK, condition rather less (very old bathroom equipment with ubermaltem rust, lots of dust and stinking drain and disgusting shower curtain). The elevator is also at max 2 people with luggage full etc.

We had booked a double room for three nights. The lady at the reception gave us a negative picture about the hotel by her unfriendly way. Although the room was OK, the bathroom could have been cleaned better.
Apparently, this hotel often happens that things are stolen from the rooms. When we went back from breakfast to our room in the morning, our money was stolen from our wallets. Since we had counted once again our money before we went to breakfast, we are one hundred percent sure that someone from the hotel staff must have gone to our room. Other valuables, such as our smartphones and laptops were still there; Probably not to notice that something is missing. When we went to the reception to report the incident, the lady at the reception showed little surprise. She then called the cleaning lady who was responsible for our floor, who told her that she was not yet in our room.

Service was quick and painless, no issues. We were on the 7th floor however the lift only went to the 6th however this wasn't an issue for us personally but something worth remembering if this may cause you any issues.

It was very close to the train station. The rooms are decent but no air conditioning. As far as breakfast costs too!

I will not be staying in this hotel again — it was absolutely not good value for money. Berlin is an expensive city, but for €50 a night I expect a bit more comfort. Our room, though generally clean, was tiny and far too warm, and with one miniscule window there is no way to cool it down. I can't imagine what the top floors are like in the height of summer. It rained overnight and we could not keep our window open as it would have leaked — very unpleasant. We could hear everything happening in the adjacent rooms, the light in the tiny bathroom buzzed incessantly when on and the shower curtains were disgustingly filthy. There was a single combined body/hair/hand soap, which is not ok at that price. On top of everything the staff was not particularly friendly, making their key-trading system (you have to leave your key at the front desk whenever you leave and retrieve it upon return) very unpleasant. Thankfully the area has lots of dining options and it's very easy to get downtown, because I can't imagine the breakfast is even close to worth €13 — we were certainly not going to test it out.

A little sad aesthetically is rude in reception however for what it costs is acceptable.

The worst Hotel I have ever stayed. The walls are almost cardboard (you hear everything). To desire, to want to change the room because we had very noisy and nocturnal Zimmernacharn, we were turned away rudely. The decor is very simple and the bathroom could get also a refresher. The services of vacationers was not fulfilled and the personnel should be trained strongly. Absolutely no recommendation.

Conveniently located yet well located. Something in the years come. Renovation jam for painting the baseboards and doors. For 2-3 nights but ok. Was now adequately responded to our complaint regarding mold in the bathroom. The service at breakfast is clearly understaffed. Rather than to clear used tables and to stock up on new, more emphasis is placed on the query of the room numbers. Parking in the street very badly what also parking (€16 / day) for the onsite parking results.

Good deal, clean room and good communications. 30 min by metro from the door to the Brandenburg gate.

Although the hotel are located outside of the city center, there is 2 subway stations within a 3 minute walking distance. The staff speaks English well enough and the rooms are clean. Do not expect to be served a late night snack. Room service is not an option. Wifi is free but breakfast is 7, 99€… Not all staff members are 'polite' but they'll eventually get you what you need.

Nothing special, for sleep is ok, they should be a little bit more polite.
