It's a great hotel! It is made in the old style. The beds are comfortable, the room is clean, the staff are very friendly, speak Russian. It's a lovely breakfast! Located in a very beautiful green area. Nearby there are wonderful cafes and restaurants.

Really bad Wi-Fi, not good enough for voice calls let alone video. If you rely on good Wi-Fi for work, you better have a good data plan to fall back on. Disconnects very frequently, and even when it is connected it's only 1-2mbps. With state-of-the-art Ubiquiti routers only costing ~$100USD these days, it's not a lot to ask of a hostel to have good Wifi. Other than that, the rooms are nice, and the bed is soft, the decor is kind of Victorian.

A French touch in the rooms decoration, beautiful breakfast lounge, definitely value for money breakfast. Very helpful reception service.

In general a normal hotel, all the staff spoke Russian, of the cons there is no refrigerator, dust on furniture. I needed an opener, they gave me no problems at the reception.

A simple hotel in the center for relatively little money. There is no sound.

I had made reservations for this weekend (Friday till Sunday), but on Thursday, the airline company let us know that due to a strike at the airport in Berlin, all the flights to Berlin for the weekend were cancelled. About 24 hrs before the planned check-in at the hotel, I let the hotel know that due to the cancelled flight, it would be impossible to come to Berlin this weekend. The only thing we got was "the room is non-refundable, as mentioned in our terms and conditions". I saw that the room got rebooked quite soon, and the hotel was fully booked this weekend. So the hotel did not suffer any loss, instead benefited from our cancelled flight, while we payed for a room while staying home. In the mean time, we have a new flight to Berlin and will go in 2 weeks. I will however never again book a room in Hotel-Maison, "Am Olivaer Platz". I think there are more reasonable and client friendly ways to deal with customers, especially under the given circumstances. It was not a pleasant experience.

Arrived very late at night and had some trouble checking in. Reception came out especially for us (at a price). Placed in apartment 1 and found accommodation unsuitable. The floors squeaked, the doors squeaked and the bed practically sung. After an uncomfortable night we checked out, staff were kind enough to waive the cancellation fee but claimed to be unaware of the noisy apartment.

The service was fine. The room was standard, though cheap! The maid was damn efficient, effectively a ninja. It's a bit of an inconvenient location if you want to see the real berlin, however.

Vintage hotel. I love it. Great room.

Super location 30 m from The Ku'damm. Prices are very good. Breakfast is enough to start the day. Personal Friendly Typical Berlin old building apartment hotel.
