Friendly family boarding house, run by very nice Russians. The guesthouse is well located, next to the 109 bus that comes from tegel airport and all other means of transport in Berlin. It is located not far from the posh and expensive area but it does not rub off on the prices of the hotel.

Location good, rooms very small and worn out.
Washish enough too small; The size is normally intended for toilet's.
Breakfast room crowded and very noisy.
For the hotel I can award a maximum of 1 star and I can not recommend — unfortunately.
The only thing that fit was breakfast, adjusted to the price.

Good value for money. Breakfast is perfectly fine. Room was a bit older but clean.

The location is quite central! You can go shopping right around the corner. Unfortunately no elevator. The rooms are clean and functional. Recommended for a short break.

Gutes Preis-Leistung Verhältnis, sehr nettes Personal, zentral gelegen. Wir konnten schon um 12 einchecken! Die Zimmer sind zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es war sauber. Leider etwas hellhörig!

Quiet hotel in semi-central residential area. A few steps from the metro station and the S-Ban and the regional trains (Charlottenburg). Excellent for both Tegel and Schonefeld.

Luckily, I was only a night at this property. In the morning, shortly before the fair starts at 8: 00, we realized that the warm water has failed throughout the hotel. The entire hotel sat un completely showered in the morning where too small breakfast room / front desk / reception. Many guests told the staff discontent. There was only a stupid comment of the staff: "With my heart can I not heat even the water… and try ' s time in two hours"
There is not a solution.

Took a short trip to Berlin last week and booked 3 nights at the Hotel-Pension Arche mainly due to the low cost and location on arrival was presently surprised at the quality of the hotel we really didn't expect it to be that good as all we needed was somewhere to sleep but overall quality was very good and the staff where extremely friendly and very helpful. The room was a very good standard no issues at all, breakfast was also a nice surprise I am quite fussy when it comes to food but the breakfast was very good value for money with a good choice of food available for both of our needs. The hotels location is excellent with perfect public transport access and the shops in the area had everything anyone could ever need with good restaurants in the same location. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone taking a short trip to Germany and if we ever come back to Berlin we will be staying here.
