Good hotel on one of the nicest streets I Berlin. Nice staff and big rooms.

Wi-Fi is very poor, sometimes worked. Staff were always friendly when you understood it, breakfast is not chilled and not everything was covered by the food on offer. Parking ticket vignette super cheap, but nowhere was it online that cash for keys and the vignette as a deposit is mandatory (20+ 50). Room was clean, the bathroom was clean but small. Ventilation in summer is difficult, the heat has jammed day and night, even with all open windows. The elevator is to be used with caution, it can happen that it gets stuck, in 35 hours stay I got stuck 1x and after that it was declared defective. The surrounding area offers nice restaurants and shops, some open 24 hours a day.

The Breakfast hadn't been so great: The Buns were Rubber-like And the Coffee didn't taste either.
The Room, on the other hand, was fine, but it was stuffy and it is advisable to bring Multiple Sockets.
Finding a Parking space was Quite difficult on Friday Evening and only possible with a Parking Ticket.

In that it is an ALTBAU, it does not bother me, but the "elevator" is a joke! In it, I feel like I'm in Titanic … And then one that she went down falls to me.
The room was a giant disappointment.

In the middle of the room a dush curtain finished with a sink and a shower! There were 2 steps between the bathroom and the bed.
The room was the biggest disappointment of my life.
This was not a hotel room but a storage room.
Breakfast? Well was OK … very simple but main thing something …
Thank God we are back home … I can't recommend this hotel!

The best thing about our stay was the city. Berlin is great and the inhabitants super nice.
Parking is available, however, is never one free and if you pay every day.

All in all. No idea how this hotel has cashed in the good reviews, let alone the 3 — star hotel.
Every youth hostel and motels in my school days were 100 times cleaner and cosier.

Old outdated building. No customer service.

The hotel is super! Loved. Building of the early Twentieth Century (1905), Elevator for 2 persons of the same year. Very friendly staff. Recommend!

The rooms were ok, clean bathroom, however our overall experience was bad. The staff at the reception don't speak English very well and weren't professional. We were here in February and the room and the whole hotel were very cold. It's an old place and could use a renovation, the windows let in a lot of cold. We purchased breakfasts and were very disappointed. The bufet is very simple and on our first arrival (1h before the end of breakfast time) there was almost no food left. Guests who came after us didn't even have any bread, they had to wait 10 mins for the waitress to bring it. She said it was because too many people came at the same time, but the dining room wasn't even full. She was extremely slow and when guests started to complain, she was very rude and even said rude things straight to their faces. She didn't apologize to anyone. I can't believe such an unprofessional, incapable person can keep this job.

I spent a night here and I didn't get excited at all. The rooms have been very old and the hotel itself is not nice either. The service was not very friendly. So next time I would look for another hotel in Berlin.

Room basic and a bit dated but very clean loads of hot water eat as much as you want for breakfast. I liked the place.

A lovely old house, amazing windows! The lift was a funny little old thing, but it worked. Room was tidy and spacious enough for two. Definitely a good place to stay with a reasonable budget (4 nights 159€). The toy store next to the hotel is worth visiting. The store owner is like a fairytale toymaker from a children's movies. The store has everything you could ask for your child or yourself. There's also a very reasonable priced Lebanese restaurant at the corner of the street. Food is amazing and the restaurant is really fancy with a royal athmosphere. Staff is very friendly and professional.

I had a nice room, but the hotel as a whole is a fairly old building… and inside you see, so much.

No go — maybe on a budget, but poorly isolated rooms (we could hear the phone ring at the reception), cold unfriendly staff, breakfast limited, not well cleaned (epic layer of dust on the phone, the shower door and soap holder both had mold on them)

The room was very clean and the breakfast was very good.
The staff was rather rude, especially the lady who is responsible for breakfast. At point Ten, the clock is looked at and groaned when people still stay in the breakfast room. The coffee is then removed immediately. Frowning looks follow, sadly without words. The next time we prefer to go back to a hotel where one is welcome.

1 star for the good Internet 2 star for the cleanliness.
The staff is uninterested and impersonal. You should not have the window on Machenkein possibility to air the room… Not nice…

Very cheap and well located hotel with antique charm. Parking facilities at business hours very limited. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast for 5 euros from the offer is absolutely okay. Seats in the dining room are very cramped and inadequate at moderate occupancy.

Avoid, Very basic guest house located in a very very old building, share with some offices, I wouldn't call it hotel, no tea or coffee facilities, can't open the window, very hot. Bad air circulation for asthmatic. Broken table lamp, unplugged, we had to move the bed to plug in, we had to complain to the reception to fix the lamp, so much for '' Germany standard''. Soundproof of the room was very bad with noisy neighbours, who walking like an elephant, talking loud, no respect for others at all during late night. No soap in the bathroom, can't wash my daughter' s clothes, avoid this '' hotel'' if travelling with children. The pillows are very soft, flat and square, non supportive to your neck, caused sore muscles easily. Noisy duvets, every time you turn, it made horrible plastic noise. For £100 a night with this standard, don't waste your money, I am regreted that I cancelled the apartments with higher prices for this guest house. Bad experience, ruined my holiday.

Worst experience ever. Poor excuse for a hotel. Noisy, very dated, mediocre location, very unpleasant experience with unprofessional staff. Negative value for money. We left, shocked, after one night and found a different hotel that was much better for a slightly higher price. We didn't get our money back for the rest of the stay and not even an apology. About the place: The "hotel" is above a toy/puppet store in a side street of Ku-damm and spans 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor of the building. It feels like a bunch of old apartments joined together to form a "hotel". The "lobby" is not on the ground floor but on the 2nd floor. Everything is very dated, looks as old as the wall. Old windows, old doors, ugly painted and patched walls, old smell. No sockets for phone chargers (we had to pull out the bedside lamps). The shower worked. Beds are ok. There is no airconditioning and it was hot. The elevator is tiny, ancient and sounds like it wants to kill you and itself. Location is not that great if you want to go to center. The staff we met was very unprofessional.

The most worst customer friendly hotel in the vicinity. My friend had to suffer a lot due to the shady, irresponsible, ill mannered and incompetent staff at this place. It is in no way a 3 star hotel. Everyone must avoid this place!

They speak only German, the breakfast indicated as included costs 5 euro per person, and just made the reservation was charged the credit card, although it was written that the charge would be made on arrival, also because after the reservation There were eleven days to cancel it. Me and my friend stayed here for 2 nights few days ago, the location was very good! But we were shocked about the staff (except the lady on the reception) they were not helpful at all and very unfriendly! we just ask for some basic directions (how to get there) since we hadn't so much time and he reply us to use internet! the breakfast was very basic. Not satisfied for staying at this hotel at all!

I was of the 23 11. Up to 25 11 2012 there. And generally I liked it. But: while watching TV you must wiggle on the antenna cable which you have a reasonable picture. And at breakfast hardly selection of jams. (only Apricot and sour cherry) and no Nutella. Otherwise, you can recommend the hotel.
