Have stayed here 3 times, and just booked it again for 2 nights in December. Absolutely charming Hotel in the middle of Nuremberg. Nice employees and great breakfast. Rooms are very clean and unique. Love it there, a visit to Nuremberg must include a stay at the Elch!

I can't write anything negative about the hotel:
Staff were very nice, rooms were clean, breakfast was good and sumptuous, parking in the parking garage right around the corner and the location of the hotel is perfect for tours of Nuremberg.
I recommend it unreservedly, and would book the hotel again.

I don’t really have one negative thing at say about Hotel Elch. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in the LOFT which was clean, roomy and well decorated. Our room had an A/C unit which worked great. Shower was small but we expect this of all European hotels. We didn’t try the breakfast so can’t speak to that. I think the best thing about this hotel is the location. It is very centrally located and an easy walk to really anywhere you would want to go in beautiful Nurenburg. Though hotel is close to the action, the street its on is quite quiet and private. There were many restaurants and a great wine bar within a 5 minute walk away. Overall I would recommend this hotel without hesitation. Hope to return there soon!

A nice little but fine room. A glass of cake was provided as a welcome. With it was good here.

Recommended hotel for a weekend trip to Nuremberg. Super central location, easily accessible from the train station in 20min walk. Friendly staff, with the art open, responsive and to have the individual view of the guest and not set up or even intrusive. Very pleasant! The staff is just great. The single rooms are clean, small and fine, completely sufficient for sleeping. For hot days, there is a roaring air conditioning system, but not suitable for the night, because too loud. Opening window is the simple variant ;-) Since the hotel is located in the old town, are restaurants, bars etc. Within walking distance. Free Wi-Fi is available. I booked breakfast separately and it was the right decision. Important for me, good coffee and that's there. Otherwise, the breakfast buffet really has something for every taste. New little surprises every day.
Conclusion: If I visit Nuremberg again, the hotel will be the first choice when I search for my quarters.

Awesome place this is one of those stays that takes you into history the hotel is histotic the place around is historic with so many travel groups around… the market is just awesome … fresh flowers and fruit… the churches beautiful and the restaurants around are unique.

Great small hotel, very well located the staff and the reception are very nice and the rooms are well arranged. All that's missing is the hot drinks corner and that would be perfect.

Short assessment of my stay at the Hotel Moose: positives: — Everything in the room is clean and functional.
— Reception nice, maid nice negatives:-room very small, bathroom very small-sealing the shower cubicle only by sealing lip, therefore flooding the half bath while showering.
— strong hum at regular intervals (approx. 45 minutes) due to fan/refrigerator, sleep only conditionally possible.
— Breakfast is delicious, but probably caused by the fried egg, nausea to vomiting.

An excellent hotel in a top location in the heart of Nuremberg. Very nice, clean rooms furnished with great attention in detail. The staff as well as the service is excellent, they are all very friendly, accommodating and very helpful. You can see that there are people who love their job and who are at work with a lot of passion. The breakfast offer is also great, it is fresh and prepared with a lot of love. There is something for every taste. As I said, it's just recommended.

It's a wonderful hotel in the best place. The stuff was great and helpful. And the breakfast was very nice. I would like to go there again!

Modernized, TLWS. Very small room (historical part). In winter, it takes three days for the heater to have the right setting. A bit noisy. Everything else is good. Bathrooms pleasant. Clean. Wi-Fi medium quality, free. Breakfast small but very nice. Total stays in such a way that we have already returned to the toy fair several times.

Located in the historic centre of Nuremberg. Although the reception was assimilated to an American ice cream parlor of the years 50 and that a receptionist "hurt the stomach", those in the morning are Simpatiquísimos, the hotel is very nice.

It has three floors with four rooms per floor but no elevator.

Great location, easy parking at Hauptmarkt, delicious breakfast, friendly staff. Perfect place to stay with easy access to town attractions.

The oldest hotel in Nürnberg! Still, very up to date, clean and a great location. Even the breakfast buffet each morning was delicious! I could stay here every time I'm in town!

I'm struggling rating this place because the beds were hard as a rock. None of us could sleep and I think that's pretty important when you stay at a hotel. Staff is very friendly, breakfast was good and they were accommodating to our late arrival. I won't go back because of the beds but I really liked everything else. It was such a good experence too.

An old building tastefully renovated and lovingly furnished. Located in the old town. Breakfast was good. We like to come back.

The hotel is very centrally located below the Castle and we felt very much at home. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired and the price/performance ratio is consistent. We like to come back.

Super nice hotel. Unfortunately, there was virtually no fresh fruit at the breakfast buffet. Also, the door slams in the Castle, constantly vigorously so that man breakfast almost from the Chair falls. All in all but a real "insider tip".

The location of the apartment is great. The apartment itself is clean, spacious and bright. We feel we have chosen the right hotel! The staffs in the hotel are friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.
