Very friendly staff and there was nothing wrong with the room. Can I recommend in good conscience. Despite short-term booking good price!

A great accommodation for your business trip or your holiday in Nuremberg. Not very recent but well-groomed hotel, with clean rooms and elegant décor. It has a small spa with swimming pool. Central location with convenient adjacent contracted parking. Very friendly staff. Very good.

Location in the same center, very clean and good service. It has no air conditioning and we had to ask for fan (us and more guests) in August, although the pool was a plus. Otherwise everything perfect!

This is an awesome hotel in the heart of Nuremberg. Will definitely come back.

Enjoyed an extended stay at the Burghotel with my mom. Location, service and breakfast all exemplary; the trifecta of what one wants in a hotel. We will return!

I've been here a lot, both in business and private life. In all of them, just top. Breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. Room clean. And the best. Staff is unique… Makes real fun to "live" here.

Simply a pointed hotel. Have enjoyed the stay very much and will be happy to come back! Perfect location and very friendly staff.
The swimming pool and shower in the basement is of course an additional plus what we haven't had on a city holiday. Maximum a sauna, but never a swimming pool (even at 5 star hotels).
I really can only recommend it!

Nice small cosy hotel and very central. Friendly staff. They have a bar where we all had another schnapps before retiring for the night.

Freundliches Personal mit Humor. Zimmereinrichtung für meinen Geschmack zu altbacken und stellenweise leicht abgenutzt, könnte aber auch eine Stilentscheidung hinsichtlich des Names sein. Matratze war hervorragend. Das Bad ist recht neu gestaltet. Soweit man sehen konnte, war alles sauber. Es gab im genutzten Zimmer nur eine Badewanne mit Dusche. Leider war diese genau vor einem Fenster positioniert. Im Stehen duschen ist bei Licht im Badezimmer unmöglich, da die auch die strukturierte äußere Scheibe nicht verhindert, dass der Duschende von den Häusern gegenüber vermutlich recht deutlich zu sehen ist. Frühstück war recht abwechslungsreich.

Very nice hotel in the city centre. There is no parking space, but discounted tickets for a car park nearby. Tickets are available at the reception.
Even tickets for the subway could be sold to us at the reception!
The car park and the city centre are only a few minutes ' walk away and the subway station is only a ten minute drive.
Price/performance/location/friendliness earn five stars.

Very friendly staff, nice spacious room with seperate toilet and bathroom. Breakfast buffet has almost everything you can think of, pool is nice and big but isn't heated as far as I can tell. Very close to shops and everything you'd need. Would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel, good breakfast with plenty of choice, the pool is pleasantly warm and large enough to swim a few lanes. Price performance is right. Only with parking in the parking garage there were small difficulties.

Beautiful hotel in historical center easily accessible: from the airport you take the Metro U2 going down in Rathenauplatze or after 6 stops. You continue straight ahead and after 15-20 of quiet walk you will find the hotel. All the girls in reception are kind and helpful to the needs of the customers.
We were in room 404, big and cozy. Very nice area rwlax with swimming pool and sauna little frequented, on January 1 even we were alone so maximum relaxation. The excellent cleanliness, the thermostat affixed both to the bath and to the room is able to optimize and adapt the temperature to the best. The location is excellent, in the middle of the old town.
Recommended.

Beautifully priced, the duplex family rooms overlook the castle and on the rooftops of Nuremberg. Very central and with optional parking.

Excellent hotel! It's just all right.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, large varied breakfast buffet. The hotel is located right in the city centre, within minutes you can reach great restaurants, sights and shopping opportunities. And there is no need to worry about parking, because on arrival you will get a voucher with which you can park your car in the nearby parking garage.
On request, if we are allowed to have a kettle so that we can prepare vials for our child, an employee was at our door within minutes and brought us over. :)
So if you like to go back to Nuremberg, come here again!

This is one of the best hotels in Nuremberg, for us the first address when we are there every year.

The rooms are okay but could tolerate a coat of paint. The breakfast was good. The service is always friendly. A parking garage is nearby.

A quiet little hotel in the heart of the old city. It ain't the Marriott, but then again, why come to Germany and stay in a chain hotel? The breakfast is excellent, and you're a 4 minute walk from the market square.

With the addition of air condition and tea making facilities we would have rated this 5 stars. Our room was at the back of the hotel and there was some noise from the extraction fans from a nearby restaurant. Having said all that our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and smart. The hotel was very convenient for just a short walk into the centre of the city.

It is difficult to find any fault with the hotel. The bacon that you cook for breakfast is not nice (much too salty) and I cannot eat it. And the egg is far over-cooked. Otherwise, breakfast is very good indeed. In the bathroom there should be a face towel (we call it a flannel in England) to scrub the soap of the skin; this is important. And there should be a spare third pillow in my double room; I need to use three pillows because they are so soft. Everything else is perfect. Especially the lovely staff.

Great location within the walls, a stone's throw from the pedestrian area. Nice staff and clean room with a nice renovated bathroom.

Lovely place to stay in the heart of old Nuremberg. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. The ammeneties were super including a great breakfast and a lovely sauna. Finally, the room was phenomenal. Spacious, clean, welcoming, and complete with a stunning view. I hope to return someday.

The hotel had a great location right near the town center. The room was very nice and clean. The staff was nice and helpful. Parking was also close and relatively close. I would recommend Burghotel to anyone.

I had a pleasant family stay (2 adults and 2 children of 3 and 8 years) at Burgotel. The hotel is clean, comfortable and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. We chose the option without breakfast.
The room we were given was spacious and comfortable arranged on 2 levels, under double bed for children over small living room, bathroom and double for parents. Fantastic view on one side of the castle and the other of the city. Swimming pool and sauna clean and with plenty of bar service on call.
Excellent location, located in the historical center, is recommended for those who want to visit the city on foot.

Great location to visit the city: in the most historic part of the center. All the attractions and restaurants are within walking distance. The atmosphere of the hotel is very characteristic, the room spacious and clean. The bathroom renovated.
It has a swimming pool, a sauna and some gym equipment available to guests, great after a day of sightseeing.
Only flaw: The pool water was too cold and high. Do not touch at any point.
I did not try breakfast because €10 seemed excessive, I preferred to go to a bar not far to the river.

The Hotel was very nice, comfortable rooms, excellent position, great swimming pool and fitness area, excellent and kind staff… but in the 2015 you must have have free wi fi access avaiable :)

Great, attentive Service, beautiful rooms, clean, comfortable beds, well stocked mini bar at reasonable prices. Very nice location and great Service in relation to Parking (Parking garage around the corner"). If we again come to Nuremberg, then we will be very happy to be back in the castle hotel to check in :)

In the midst of the old town of Nuremberg is very beautifully situated. The ambience is nice, but slightly dusty. Equipment is ok and clean. We are a family of four well arranged. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Not to see again. To become beautiful. The only thing missing is the free Internet connection.

A very nice and cozy Hotel, the old town walk can visit. The staff is friendly and professionnell. The standard room is modern furnished and equipped, good beds, the Breakfast buffet is rich, and after the arrival has me to Swim and subsequent Saunern the back pain is alleviated. Therefore, I can the Burghotel recommend them at any time.

Cozy, right in the middle of the old quarter and very helpful, friendly staff. Highly recommended! The only drawback to our stay was the lack of Wifi. For travelers nowadays, this is pretty essential.

Very good hotel situated right at the heart of Nuremberg's old city center. Great rooms with nice view of the nearby castle. Hotel staff was competent, friendly and always ready to give assistance. Our rooms 604 and 603 (this one's huge with a sitting area and sofa bed) is very neat and nicely decorated, even the bathrooms are spacious. The hotel offers an indoor pool, a sauna and massage services. Breakfast buffet was adequate, fresh and delicious. We will definitely stay again in this wonderful hotel. Besides, Nuremberg is worth seeing not just once but many times over because it is such a beautiful place.

Everything is super, friendly and a rich Breakfast, highly recommend.

But or is the price of €67, when I run the reservation I am shown double!
