We had a duplex room with which we were completely satisfied. Very good spa area and also the half board could convince us. All in all highly recommended hotel. 🤗

Finally you are allowed to reopen (almost) all in the accommodation system and you have been noticed every minute, as you also long for your guests, just as the guests long for relaxation.

We are now in this hotel for the 3rd time and never had anything to do with it. The location of the hotel is uniquely beautiful, far away from the hustle and bustle, directly on Lake Riessersee. The staff is very nice and friendly. The food in the Seehaus we can only recommend, very tasty!

Love it. Leaving tomorrowback to Fla. The scenery is beautiful we are overlooking the lake room 203. The Restaurants are very clean and have great food. Rooms are cozy beds are comfy. Just love it. You will too. Mountain veiws plan a trip here.

A wonderful hotel very friendly and comfortable great restaurant.

Small mountain lake that combines swimming (clear FRESCHE and sweet Teutonic waters) and tranquility within walking distance of Garmish.
The path that surrounds it is easily accessible in no time and the hotel of the same name becomes a good stop for a beer or a wine.
Frequented by many it remains an oase of relaxation and they tell me fairy tale when, covered by the winter coat, it fascinates the look and the mind.
You don't need to visit it, but having a couple of hours on hand… Why not?

I can sit there without looking at my watch … enjoy the view.

The hotel is nice. The views are spectacular! The restaurant was awful though! The worst service that I’ve ever had here in Germany. Don’t eat at the restaurant. We waited at a table for over 30 minutes before we even got a menu. There were only a few occupied tables, so they weren’t busy. My husband had to find the waiters to get them to take our order. Meanwhile several other people came to eat, but gave up after not seeing a waiter for over 30 minutes. We finally got our first course which was a side salad for my husband & carrot soup for me. They were tasty. Then after another long wait, I got my salad as my main dish. My husband waited patiently for his pasta but it never came. Finally (45 minutes later) he had to hunt down the waiter, & they told him the kitchen was closed. They didn’t offer to make him anything or compensate him in any way. We left with my husband still hungry. We were not happy with the restaurant.

Previously better RH hotels poor service only one or four euros parking. For two hours twice one euro after each hour.

Small Alpine lake, early morning ring Lake Walk feel great, looking at the Zug peak, near the reflection of the water is really great!

Most beautiful place and surroundings. The hiking trails around are spectacular. Unfortunately their coffee maker was broken and we couldn’t get a coffee after dinner Sunday, and they were out of roast beef at supper time Sunday? Strange issues if you ask me.

The hotel is nice, the staff very friendly and accommodating. The evening buffet good, rich and varied. The same applies to breakfast: no wishes remain unfulfilled.
Nevertheless, I have to criticise one point: the wellness area! In the pool area and relaxation room of the sauna there is a room for the size of the hotel or For the number of guests far too few loungers. During our stay we were not able to get a couch, everything was always occupied. In addition, the log cabin sauna had only a temperature of 45°C. The guests left the sauna because they (understandably) froze – and instead went to the (small) bio sauna, which was therefore totally overcrowded, also hardly a possibility to get a place. For a hotel with this claim a "no go"! What a pity!

The lake was beutiful and the view was to die for.

Beautiful resort, amazing views from where it sits on the mountain. A small lake sits right on the grounds allowing for swimming, paddle boarding and boat rentals, including row boats and foot paddle boats. The boat station also has ice cream, drinks, changing stations, and lounge chairs. The cafe and restaurant at the hotel I'd top notch and is often busy in the afternoon. This is also a great place to stay if you want to have easy access to many hiking paths into and around the alps.

Fantastic location. Clean and comfortable rooms. Plenty of amenities. Good food and stunning view. Highly recommended.

Value for money is very bad at this hotel. The rooms are old and comfortable, to the hallway, very thin and the bathroom is too small. The double bed consists of two single beds that are sliding quickly apart. Never choose half-board, dinner is a joke. Ridiculously small portions, partially not really hot, cheap soups and always a Tütencreme/-mousse for dessert. Room rate completely pathetic for this performance! Many dogs in the hotel (am an animal lover but what's too much is too much. ). Service at dinner was good however. The Spa is very small but otherwise OK. The location is the only true great at this hotel. Will sure again there book!

The prices are overpriced, the apartments are worn, old and broken. Had forgotten something in the room, despite three phone calls and even in person at a second visit, none of us wanted to have found something. Not even a promised callback I get… Weak performance for a 4-star…

The location is really breath taking. We enjoyed a 2 nights stay in your facility and I wish to come back again. Deep thanks.

Very disappointed with this hotel, we stayed there last weekend
Not very nice restaurant that not very competent youth not good food, the bartender at the hotel too old and not friendly at all, no atmosphere and friendly, lack of Bavarian evening, anyway it was bored.

Bad food, the lowest level, abgewohnte rooms and bad beds, and lives in the charm of the 80s, far from a 4* star Superior Hotel. However, very trying Personal.

Stayed here for our Honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The pool/spa was our favorite part. This was in an absolute perfect location. We frequently went down into town for the Christmas market. Hope to return sometime again soon.

As the owner of Eurotourbycar, our company has been recommending the Riessersee Hotel to our clients for well over ten years. Yes, it has gone through a variety of ownership during this time — Marriott, various German interests, but the property is wonderful, with an enormous spa, almost-an-Olympic-sized pool, saunas, etc. The fact that the hotel has expanded through the aquisition of the See Restaurant and rooms, simply makes the property even more interesting. The Seehaus Restaurant is quite possibly one of the most romnatic places to dine as the sun sets over the mighty Zugspitze at the end of the lake. And there is little better in life than walking down to their marvelous breakfest buffet each morning. For families with children, for tourists wishing to explore Bavaria from Fussen and the Castles to the west, and magic villages of Mittenwald and Oberammergau close by, this is the place to be. Simply wonderful! The maisonette suites looking out on the lake are equaled by the beautiful views of the city of Garmisch on the other side. Clean, well-run, in an unbeatable location, this is Bavaria at its best.
