Highly recommended! Our favourite restaurant on Lake Constance.

Fantastic view of Lake Constance, very friendly, very nice rooms, just perfect.

Simply indescribably good.

It was a wonderful short trip over the weekend in December 2017.
The hotel, as well as the rooms are very nicely decorated.
The service was very friendly.
Nearby it has a beautiful outdoor spa where you can relax well.
We had a nice stay and will definitely come back soon!

The good thing first: the hotel is beautifully and quietly located, right next to the beach, with direct views of the lake, and a very nice garden. And the food, both in the morning and in the evening, absolutely keeps what it promises.
Unfortunately, there are a few less good things to report. Even if the hotel itself makes a beautiful and elegant impression, the rooms (at least our standard chamber, cheapest category) do not meet the very high price. The room smelled musty, the carpet looked unkempt, the water regulator in the shower didn't work properly, the hair dryer didn't work either, and the Wi-Fi didn't.
At dinner at Casala, which was delicious, we were served by the restaurant manager with his wine skills. At the beginning still quite funny, but finally only annoying. The summit was then the 34 Euros for my wife's "motorist wine accompaniment" — 5 Schlücke wine! No kidding! I would think carefully about wine accompaniment here.
On departure we informed the reception about the few inadequacies and only received "I'll take this up". A little frustrating, if the hotel does not provide the promised services, but you still have to pay the price for it.
Too bad, but this is probably a unique experience.

We were there a few days ago with a group. We weren't even offered the card and immediately suggested the 5-course menu. Due to the heat, it was additionally oppressively hot. Although tables were free in better ventilated rooms, we had to stay in the hot corner. We were immediately forced to wine, which made it almost as if the waiters only want to sell special things. To eat:
The food was good, but absolutely nothing special and absolutely overpriced for the price, as the ambience is also very meagre. The food was well prepared but very weak and unexcitedly seasoned. At the main course, the pink deer was already very grey. Finally, there was a dessert, which was good but reflected the whole evening as a flop, as the ice cream had lumps and small ice grains.
All in all, despite efforts a total disappointment and one of the weakest restaurants in which we ate.

Beautifully located Restaurant with direct Views of Lake Constance. In fine Weather, there is the Possibility to eat on the Balcony. The Food was delicious, there is a choice of 2 Menus. The Service Staff are very attentive.

I had a round birthday in March and was invited to the "spring menu" cooking class by my girlfriend for the occasion. We were only 6 participants and it was very relaxed. The menu sequence was very exciting and the restaurant boss presented us with very good tips and variations. Afterwards we were served everything together in the restaurant. Matching wine and a small introduction about the wine on offer. I really liked it and you can cook the recipes very well at home. I will certainly do this again.

Great location, very friendly service. Welcome drinks and snacks served at check-in, fruit brought into the comfortable room. Excellent breakfast with even a candy bar!

The hotel is right on the lake! We enjoyed the view. The thermal bath is small but nice and only 10 minutes away from the hotel.
We recommend the hotel further.

We were very pleased with hotel and room — and your service, also for the sauna (bathroom coat, cloths). We enjoyed our wedding day with you very much. The only downer was Sunday's breakfast. Since we were not informed that a brunch was taking place and then it was rather hectic to and then forth and at point 10 o 'clock was the end. We liked breakfast with you very much, rich and cosy.

It was three wonderful days at the lake. Great, attentive service, very friendly and courteous staff, an enjoyable and educational cooking class and a sensational breakfast buffet! We'll be happy to come back!

We were from 05. — 09.02.17 in the Romantik Hotel residence am See. We liked the hotel, the facilities, the good service and the perfect breakfast. Unfortunately the rooms are a bit noisy (we were able to listen to the news from the neighbouring room), the mattresses were much too soft and the water pressure in the shower really was far too low. Moreover, we would have liked to have tested the restaurant, but the rest days as stated in the prospectus with Monday & Tuesday were also extended to Wednesday. That really made us very disappointed.
But they were, on the whole, small things, because the staff and the Super Breakfast made up for it.

Beautiful house with soul and friendly team.
Especially the food at Casala and breakfast are a dream.
The rooms are cozy clean and large with beautiful views of Lake Constance.
The house is quietly located directly on the lake to the Moersburg thermal spa just a few meters especially perfect for our children!
We'll be back.

One of the best hotels that I ever joined.

Super kitchen, by the way, special tip: after the spa for the perfect lunch. Unbeatable price performance. But even in the evening, the perfect place to culinary cuisine that refined, but is clearly still under construction and not overly contrived. Until now, I was thrilled each time light.

We spent three days in residence at the Lake in mid-November.
The hotel is located opposite the Meersburger thermal springs with views of Lake Constance. We had a double room with balcony facing the Lake. The room was nice and clean.
The service was outstanding. Especially the staff in the restaurant left nothing to be desired.
The food was high quality, especially the breakfast was top for the quality offered. Only to recommend.

The price/performance ratio is not OK!
The junior sweet in the costs "to the ship" 160, 00 for a double room with sea view and air conditioning. Weggen failure of the air conditioning were 15, 00 discount offered.
Residence Lake demanded 225, 00 for a double without air conditioning and overlooking main street and entrance area swimming pool.
The hotel is nice, but are the bathrooms or Equipped without Basin Mixer taps, so cumbersome the proper water temp. Is to mix by the guest. The minibar is included. Sold out loud. It is only with 1 beer — 2 water and 2 soft drinks bottles fitted. The reception is super, even with 2 glass of Prosecco. Fr. Tusk at the reception very friendly.
The breakfast buffet is top notch!
I can not recommend all in all the hotel.

The welcome was very warm, the room very clean, the dinner was a treat and the Breakfast gorgeous. All the best and you fill very welcome.
