Advantageous location for the ferry to Meersburg, with frequent buses to city center. A few restaurants and bars on the harbour allow for a relaxed dinner or drinks without going into town. Swim in the lake in a beach five minutes' walk away. Breakfast nice, with dine homemade cakes. Rooms facing the street receive a lot of light from street lamps, so on hot summer nights one faces and unwelcome trade-off between darkness and a cool draft in deciding how much to close the blinds. A fan would help.

We really liked it there and the owners are very nice and committed. That ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for that. We'll be back!

The guesthouse was very much pleasing to me and my family. It was a very relaxing and quiet atmos ferry. Also the staff was very friendly and also the owners of the hotel were friendly and courteous. It was a very nice holiday in a very nice guesthouse. I can definitely recommend it on a case mkt's quiet conscience.

We had booked a room for the 2nd of May, check in time according to hotel booking confirmation 2pm to 10pm.
At 21.30 we stood in front of closed doors, no one was on the phone and no one could reach them by telephone.
An absolute insolence!

The whole holiday including birthday party because of this hotel fell into the water!

I have never received a personal message with details of the key hand-over, I can attach the confirmation email of the booking here by image file, by phone you were absolutely unreachable this evening, I have tried you a total of 6 times to Reach, in parallel I rang several times on both ringing at your house!

Unfortunately, room Cancellation was no longer possible free of charge.
I booked two Single Rooms on Fridays, for the following Week Monday to Tuesday. The Booking Confirmation was received by E-mail 30 Minutes after the Booking. Unfortunately, I was unable to confirm this with the required reading confirmation, but had to write a Cancellation. A Colleague had reported ill at short notice, for the following Week. The whole Work Effort no longer made sense. In itself, I also thought that a free Cancellation would not be a Problem. After All, the two Rooms were reserved for us for only a 1/2 Hour. For many Hotels, this is free until 6Pm on the Day of Arrival. The requested Cancellation confirmation then came on Friday night. It then said that 90% of the Costs will be charged if the Rooms cannot be rented on. After a Week, the Bill came over the 90%. Probably all of this is ok legally. It's not Customer-friendly. After All, the Rooms had really only been heard for us for a 1/2 Hour.

I can only recommend the GästeHaus Holzer. I felt very comfortable there, you don't have this familial atmosphere in a big house or a hotel chain easily. It is very clean and you have everything you need. Especially great, I find that the very modern and high-quality Spa area can be used free as a guest. The location close to the Lake is really super. If it again takes me to Lake Constance I'll check there again…

We spent one night at GästeHaus Holzer and were afterwards very glad that it was only one night!
Unfortunately we have guided the booking from the reviews. The room was a single room with extra bed, which we have felt due to the simple and with no longer contemporary furnishings with two tiny Windows under the umbrella as a clearly overpriced.
The (early) arrival, the room was indeed ready cleaned, but you pointed us to wait 30 min for the control. Since we have marvelled already…, as it would a 50 beds House Act, sure you could have responded faster there and guest-friendly. Information about the location etc were answered only on demand, no courtesy!
The breakfast buffet was then unfortunately also a big disappointment! The buns were dry and tasteless, the bread ready slices and to meager bowls with a few few, lost strawberries and some Quark pur etc.
Because you would have is just in may significantly more fresh stuff like grapes, grapefruit, tomato, cucumber wanted…! The "muesli" consisted solely of yogurt and oatmeal, for this you would have do not use the name! Also the sight of the buffets was scary skinny and Loveless. Along with this came the breakfast room in the basement of bare, cool-looking was, and there are just 2 outdoor courts. Of course the "buffet" was cleared on time singing — and quietly, without question, whether you want something else.
However, the Summit of all was the rude, unfriendly and almost arrogant landlord.

Poor Price-Performance Ratio. Used furniture and owner, to do so, as if you are a 5-star Hotel. Despite a reservation 7 months imVoraus we got did not have the desired rooms.

Great holiday at the Gästehaus Holzer! We have here with our family a great holiday spent. Had a large family room with lake view and balcony. Our children have the afternoon in the newly renovated garden played and we were able to comfortably something in the Lounge drinking. The Breakfast offered every Morning with fresh fruit, muesli, Quark and Joguhrt as well as sausage, cheese and fish. The light tables and chairs set are well matched to each other. Our room was large and very clean. This guest house is absolutely worth the money. Especially, since, even in the summer the indoor pool and the Sauna can be used. The operators are a young couple who spend a lot of effort and always up for a friendly conversation were ready. Also the ladies in the Zimemrservice were always friendly and in a good mood. We can Gästehaus Holzer really recommend it and some of the mentioned points of criticism do not understand. We will definitely be back.

The Gästehaus Holzer has me once and never seen again: rude staff and a lean Breakfast buffet are the one, but for one with a Person occupied double room 125 € to demand I think is a rip-off, especially on the website for a price of 79 € is called; also, this would be more of a price for a Three-star Hotel, but not for this accommodation with A-star level. This not solution-oriented and amateurish hosts playing off! Constance breakfast is lousy and the master of the House very "sympathetic". No lifeblood is in this pension. Finger away.

Good location in Konstanz. Otherwise, for the offered Service is too expensive (Lean Breakfast buffet, uncomfortable swimming/sauna area). No interest becomes apparent that you as a guest again.
