Am often in a and O hotels on the road and must say so far everything super! Price Performance Fits! No Nobel hotel quite clear but for the price I find it really good! Thank you guys.

Is close to the train station, but easy to stay. International audience, most of them young people. Priced.

1 star is still too much…
The rooms are very run down and are an imposition for every guest.
The carpets in the hallways and rooms are already own biotopes. Full of stains in different colors.
The mattresses of the beds have not been changed for 50 years and you notice every feather in your back.
The location at the station makes it impossible to sleep with open windows.
Throughout the hotel (if you can call it that) it smells musty us very uncomfortable.
There are parking spaces from the hotel which are very limited and not suitable for wide vehicles (Bulli or similar).

Cost is around 20€ per person in a 6-people room, + 3€ if you want bed sheets (you are not allowed to book without then unless you have a sleeping bag). Rooms and beds were nice but wind came thru closed windows at night and gave us quite an headache. Nice bathrooms tho. They have mainly rooms for 6 people, if you book for 5 they charge you for the 6th too in order to "have the room for your group only without strangers" even if nobody asked for that. You have to say you're OK with a stranger — if someone books alone — not to get charged for one more person. Also, the staff wasn't very polite, grumpy and unprofessional: they were talking at the phone to fix our issue judging us as annoying for not wanting to pay for one more person, they thought we had no German speaking people with us. We had.

Dirty place, the floor here looks like it belongs to a war hospital: dirty and completely covered with disgusting blemishes. The interriors are old and really shabby. The good is: Kind staff, good position and low price for such a position. However I will avoid this place in the future.

For one night all right. The room was very small. Staff friendly. Free parking almost not available. Location of Hotel ISR good.

Perfect hostel at the city centre. Well maintained hostel and affordable hostel.

If you pick one of the very cheap rooms that can be occupied by up to 4 or 6 people, your experience will depend mostly on the kind of room mates that you will be stuck with. The hotel itself will offer you a good and really cheap accommodation for the quick night, right next to the train station. But if you’re unlucky with your room mates, you should be prepared for late stay-ups with bright electronic devices, people entering the room in the middle of the night (doing everything that’s necessary before going to bed), snoring, bad smells, and whatever else comes with typical other hotel guests. Of course, you can still pick a single room all for yourself, but naturally that will make your price go up significantly. It’s almost like gambling between a decent hotel with the perfect price, or one of the worst hotel experiences you‘ll ever have. May the odds be in your favor with this Hotel!

The staff is very friendly. The common space with tables and a billiard provides a good place for rest and for discussions.

Right at the train station, nevertheless absolutely quiet. Nice service, affordable room,. There are small snacks, ice cream and other items at the reception. Dogs allowed. Games room and guest kitchen. Was very happy there. Good alternative to the hostel, for anyone wanting some luxury, or dog to take away.

A fairly reachable place, being near the station. To be a hostel is super clean! Recommend. Forza Italia anyway!

The cleanliness of the room was good, even though the décor has already come a little over the years.
Problematic, and that blew us off the night, was the elevator right next to our room. From squeaky noises to human-like sounds, the good old elevator had everything in its repertoire, so we didn't get bored at night.

Pros: Beds were comfortable. Staff here were lovely. The last two nights we were there, there was no heating or hot water, but they were very apologetic. Offered us late check out and free hot drinks. Breakfast was good — refilled quickly. Literally next to a train station, so very convenient. The restaurant right next to it also serves very good food. Cons: Very thin walls, so we could hear everything on the corridor. Hot water in the shower took some time to become hot, but as mentioned, the boiler eventually broke in my last two nights. Some rooms face the tracks, so it could be hard to sleep at night if you're a light sleeper. Overall, pleasant stay.

I'm housed on the 6th floor. The room is a single Siffbude. The carpets full of stains, the slats are broken, the bathroom lacks tiles and it stinks penetrative after eating that one thinks to sleep in a great kitchen. A single catastrophe. Not recommended.

Price-/performance absolutely disappointing. Shower, toilet, bed completely dirty, disgusting, outdated & damaged furniture. Lubricous sausage for breakfast. Greering youth groups that party all night (without the intervention of the hotel managers). Absolutely unsuitable for business travellers.
Will certainly never book (and recommend) again in the hotel group.

The staff at the entrance were friendly. The parking a bit narrow and quite expensive, the costs were added in addition to the room.
The room was okay and everything was clean. The bathroom was even quite large.

Location: Central, well accessible room: Not clean, bed linen still sourced from its predecessor, bathroom was very dirty, instead of getting the 4 bed room a multi-bed room (6 people) food: Good and rich except the coffee service: Hard to say have arrived late and at The next day gone early, staff was so far quite friendly. All in all, the A & O won't get another visit from me.

Rooms were clean, but some of the amenities are somewhat years old. The service is friendly. The location is very good for travelers, for holidaymakers rather moderate.

As a 2 Star hotel it is cheaper than most Guesthouses if you find really good Deal it is close to the Train station and public Transport. One has his Peace and is cozy ~

The hotel is in a good location.

Pros: 1. The place is adjacent to train station and bus station 2. All the places you need are at walkable distance 3. Has staff who can talk English 4. Economic and good for back packers Cons: 1. The place is not peaceful and quite 2. The rooms are not well kept, I had even found some stains on the bed linen 3. Too crowded, May depend on the season of visit though.

This is one of the nice and economic stay in Karlsruhe, good part is it is very near to the Hauptbanhof and have bar inside. It also has a play area for kids and a snooker table to enjoy. Store or luggage room is also available.

Bitter experience of stay. It is not a hotel at all, it's a state of mind. When I entered, I felt my hostel was far far superior in all perspective. The room is Odours badly. The beds are very thin and will get backache. Poor shower and accessories. Only thing can be appreciable is that, its location; located near Bahnhof and quite easy for commute. Will not recommend this place to stay.

Wanted to cancel our reservation, cause our bus arrive next morning instead of the evening. But it wasn't possible. So we paid a private room for a nap of two hours. The bed was awful, matras from old quality with spiral spins that I fell in my bag!

Cheap and basic but dirty showers.

If you want a cheap stay at karlsruhe for a night or so it's the best place for you. It's clean and tidy but the location is the biggest problem; although it's really close to the central station and the noise from all the passing trains might wake you up at night.

It's pretty good for a group of students like ours.

You saved the day. It is a hostel, but the rooms are OK. The atmosphere is modern and youthful. There is a kitchen and laundry for clients.
In cons, would that the situation is rather uncomfortable (the train station makes noise), curtains let in many light and sheets were not completely clean.

It is a budget hotel more destined for student or traveller who are not demanding much luxury but a place enchanted right in front of the railway station just one minute in addition it has billiards and a cashier automatic inside the hotel feel you at home by e do I give 5 star if you like quiet ask you room is not under one student since they are very noisy.

Can not recommend this hostel, since we ants in the room and were treated by the staff unfriendly. In addition, the mattresses were very uncomfortable and the bathroom out of date.

Super value for last minute hotel bookings!

Recht günstiger Aufenthalt im Doppelzimmer, alles sauber. Ärgerlich war jedoch der häufig schlechte Geruch vor dem Fenster, weswegen wir nur wenig lüften konnten.

I was for 2 nights (25 & 26 06 2016) with a group of 30 persons (all already somewhat older) at this hotel — hostel. According to the price, all were satisfied. The service, reception and breakfast room was always very obliging. Well, the bath rooms are not state-of-the-art but neat. There is now no ADLON! The online — reservation, with some necessary changes by telephone, were completely uncomplicated, fast and courteous.
We can recommend this House again and again.

Very cheap and very good conditions.

This to the side of the bus and train station, the location is perfect for newcomers, although a little far from the centre, is reached by a long street. The staff is very friendly and you will be able to give indications of everything that you need. The kitchen is a bit low for making a paste.

The rooms were extremely small and old. Cupboards were sometimes not even present. The window read out partially close or open. The cleaners have only the trash cans emptied, otherwise, remained in the room untouched, it burned down in the late Evening light and the curtains were still drawn closed. Towels were not changed, though they are on the earth. It is not even necessarily during the stay every day wiped and Staubgeputzt, but you should see that the person who was in the room. Warm showers you had the water for 10 min. Before turning up otherwise keep it cold. In my Last room, I had a Kneippdusche Suddenly cold and then back to really hot without the use of the regulate. The mattresses can be anywhere time have bad luck in my Last room I could see the feathers of the Night, individually, on the other hand seems in my first room a relatively new mattress. And with room rates of between 50 and 70 euros I expect but even more. But there are at least a star on Top because of the Service of the Rezeptionspersonals top was, also the Breakfast was fine.

To make it short: the HOTEL in GENERAL + Location Centrally (directly at the train station) — Room not ready on time (after 15 hrs) — Desire is not taken into account (location of room) + friendly staff Hallway dirty (carpet) BATHROOM — still dirty/wet — only 1x bath towel per Person (no hand towel) Fixtures/fittings in the bathroom, very shaky — Contrast shower hot/cold — by the shower curtain the whole bathroom is under water — Hair on the towels — Hairdryer is useless (too weak) ROOMS Pictures hanging diagonally Walls part painted/part spotty — despite closed window Lufttug — dirty linen — Springs of the mattress significantly BREAKFAST + for€ 7 enough selection Buffet not adequately replenished — Tables dirty (even the clearance is still OK, but wipe…? ) — Frühstücksmarken were not even collected… in General, I would this Hotel not further-recommend.

Awfully noisy until 5am. And no reaction from the personnel, impossible to talk to the manager.

The rooms pretty much are made like a penitentiary, I do recommend the owner of this establishment to pay for the people staying in his hotel because it is worse then a Thai prison… To say atleast…

Nice. Clean. … good location.

Clean, well maintained, good value for money.

We were in the beer garden. It took forever until we were served. By the numbers (with generous tip), the wind shock to the beer. The operation although apologized, but brought no new beer. Generally we felt very uncomfortable with the whole treatment.
