Le Petit Giverny Hotel

Friendly restaurant with warm welcome.

A LOT OF ATTENTION! zero availability, zero courtesy, much tax (eye formed at the opening/closing)
My reservation included 2 nights. The first is a delay of the plane, and for my carelessness about the times for the closing of the facility, I have not notified about the delay of about an hour. On Booking we were contacted and after having been warned that in 8 minutes we get from them… we have left in the middle of the road cancellandoci the booking! The second night I had to look for another hotel when I should have easily been able to stay with them, but instead meet me, saw the previous night, I have deleted the second night, clearly addebitandomene both. Overall, it is not is nothing short of a fraud are exaggerated, and professionalism, very bad.

Nice place, in centre of Giverny, cosy room, nice people and big and nice bathroom.

Delicious food and very personal friendly service. Feel like you're at home. Not tourist prices! Beautiful garden also.

A wonderful overnight stop next to Monet ' s garden. The 4 poster bed was more comfortable than it looked at first sight. Our evening meal, cooked on the wood stove, was excellent as was the very filling breakfast. All of the staff, including the Patron and his wife, were very welcoming and helpful. The rose garden that they are developing is a delight of colours and fragrances. We were able to store our cycles in a secure shed over night.

It was absolutely the worst food I have ever had during my 20-day Europe trip! The food, especially the chicken kebab, is disgusting! But It is still expensive! I do not realize this is a hotel instead of a restaurant. do not eat here!

Food was delicious, although busy, staff friendly and hardworking. Saw the main cook bussing tables, serving, and trying to assist servers, teamwork was awesome, would recommend to those visiting the Monet Gardens.

Charming hotel, theme decorations, personalized attention, charming and welcoming place. Excellent breakfast.

Older woman who waited on us (owner? ) was rude and actually rolled eyes at us when only my daughter ordered lunch (the rest just drinks). If she wasnt so hungry I’d just leave.

Beautiful garden but modest decoration, plastic Pergola, very ugly table sets, and poor but complex menus.
High prices (tourist situation obligates), but disappointing food: industrial bread, bad Toulouse sausage, potatoes too cooked, but very good chicken skewer. The entry "chives-shallot white cheese" is simple, medium. Value for money very average, but some meats rather good, cooked to the chimney. Service nice but not efficient. The décor of the hotel is very good. The atmosphere is there but no effort is made, it seems, the success essentially taking place in the tourist and the little competition.

Lunch. Very well received, helpful and Nice. Succulent beef skewer. We had a very good meal.

Super. Except for the rain, long live Normandy!

This is a small quaint B&B which is very close to Monet's Garden. Our room was very comfortable and beautifully furnished. On arrival we had a very warm and friendly welcome. Dinner was cooked on an open grill — Bistro style — so good, we came back the second night. Breakfast was very good too. Croissants, meats and cheese with fresh fruit and yoghurt — very generous servings. The hosts and staff were all very good. My wife and I highly recommend!

Really good food. Get the cheese platter and the sausage grill. The owner has a great personality and made us feel very comfortable. Six of us ate well for less than 70 euro per couple.

Horrible surly staff who were obviously pissed off that clients kept arriving. Bread was so old it took two hands and teeth to tear it. The couple next to us kept repeating 'This is not french! '

Lovely garden and place to grab a drink or some lunch. Also a good place to kill some time if need be.

The perfect room for us, Monet's water lilies adorn one of the blue room's walls, it's so peaceful and relaxing. Jean-Jaques, our host has been amazing. He is so approachable, has great local knowledge, a wicked sense of humour and has an amazing grasp of languages. We also enjoyed our dinner at le Petit Giverny last night and will return tonight to try the dishes we didn't have yesterday.

This October 10th at 2:00. Chance brought me to lunch alone in the sun in the garden. I only took a perfect and delicious chicken skewer (cooked in wood fire and served with vegetables, an apple, a p. D. T. In the oven and a salad) and a glass of wine (good) plus a coffee. The value for money was reasonable and the service kind. A very nice lunch…

Great place very warm welcome from Josiane, Jean Jacques and all his team friendly atmosphere simple but excellent menus we recommend it to all those who pass through Giverny. We will return with great pleasure. The 2 brothers and their wives (La Rochelle)

No service zero (except the blonde waitress) average home… mediocre meal.

Amazing dining room. Very nice! Delicious!

Just a short walk from the Monet museum. Visited in September, so not very crowded. Served by the owner and his wife who were very nice and helpful to a couple of US tourists whose French was a little rusty (in my case non-existent). Portions were ample and tasty, including the beer. Easily the most fairly priced meal we had during 10 days in France. We sat in a pleasant, quiet, sheltered garden patio that provided a perfect atmosphere to compliment the Monet Gardens. If we ever revisit Giverny, we'll stop here again.
