My cousin and I visited, for 5 nights, in Late August 2021! I highly recommend this lovely hotel! We had an incredible stay, and the entire staff, was so helpful, friendly, and attentive to our every need! The breakfasts are amazing and not to be missed!
If you are ever in Bayeux, you will love this place!

This quaint 18th century hotel keeps all the charm of its original design updated with modern room amenities. If ever in Normandy again, I will definitely stay at the Hotel d’Argouges again. Fantastic hosts, great service, perfect location. Tre bien!

Very Nice hotel, ideally located in the city center of Bayeux. The building is really amazing and still has an authentic interior.
There is a large private parking. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and offer the necessary comfort. I can only recommend people going to Normandy to stay at this hotel.

Pretty building but no air con Bar is cupboard with bottles in. Very central in town is useful.

I love the Hôtel d'Argouges and have stayed here several times over the past 15 years. Fantastic location with off-street parking, close to the Cathedral and the Tapestry, spotless and comfortable rooms, great breakfasts and wonderful and helpful staff. I'm already thinking of a return trip to the area for more than 2 nights so that I can truly explore this beautiful area.

This is such a beautiful hotel! The grounds, the sitting areas, breakfast room as well as guest rooms are so elegant! Additionally, Caroline, Louise, and Frederic are helpful, gracious and accommodating. The history of this nearly 300 year old property is fascinating, and Frederic, the owner, is happy to share details with his guests. We stayed four nights, and each morning, we were greeted so cheerfully with plenty of recommendations regarding where to go, what to see in the area, restaurants… and they knew the weather forecast for the day! I cannot say enough about our stay at Hotel d’ Argouges, and we will absolutely return soon!

This hotel is located perfectly in Bayeux and is easy to walk everywhere. Rooms are super clean, staff is exceptionally polite and very professional. The bathrooms are really modern and the beds are very comfortable. We had wine and cheese pretty late into the evening in the main lobby area and it was great talking with the staff. Excellent service. We will definitely come back to this hotel again in the future. This was the best accommodations we had during a 10 day trip in France.

Staff were superb, especially the young lady from reception that held the umbrella, whilst showing us to the rooms. Rooms clean and comfortable.

Nice hotel with excellent hospitality and staff who are ready to help with any request; they made dinner reservations for us each night of our stay and kept to our requested budget and food preferences. Hotel breakfast is ok, with a mix of French and American offerings, but a bit pricey for what is available. Beds are comfy and clean, with a mix of room types to accommodate your group size. Would happily stay here again to enjoy the cleanliness and central location in Bayeux.

Good home base for trip to Normandy beaches and American cemetery. Old family estate turned into hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Staff very polite and helpful, all spoke English well. Very good value for the price.

Very clean. Great bath Large room in former stables on 2nd floor. Good breakfast woth fantastic peaches, canteloupe, more. Pretty garden in back to have wine or cocktails, charcuterie.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Enormous two room suite with an amazing master bath. The setting and the garden patio were was equally fantastic. The staff was professional, warm, extremely helpful, and accommodating. The breakfast is not to be missed either. All around an unexpected thrill. Wish we had booked two nights! We'll definitely be back!

Very lovely hotel in an old, charming manor house, but nicely updated rooms. Gorgeous backyard full of birds chirping all the time, just an absolutely beautiful environment.

Beautiful old manse turned into a hotel. Ample free parking in the back. Warm and welcoming front desk staff who spoke great English and were super helpful in giving dining recommendations and calling taxis as needed. It was clear they wanted us to have a great stay! We slept with the windows open and it was quiet all night. Breakfast was a smidge overpriced but delicious. Free Wi-Fi. Highly recommend!

Oasis of calm set-back from street. Garden and parking are a boon.

What a wonderful experience for us when we headed to Bayeux and Normandy from Paris in Sept 2014. The rooms and bathrooms are nice, common area and gardens lovely, and the staff is magnificent. Special kudos to Hanne for her above and beyond help and service. Wow!

My wife and I had an overnight stay there in mid June. We found the Hotel to be quite charming and nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was standard french size which means small by American standards but was decorated tastefully and the bathroom was modern and a good size. Breakfast was standard fare but nice. I wish we had had time to stay a few more nights. We would return gladly.

We had a wonderful stay here in May2011. The staff was very helpful and the atmosphere was relaxed.
