Spacious room for our little family. The hotel is very close to the tram stop which gave us an easy access to explore the city. You can almost walk everywhere to get to the tourist destinations but when you have little children with you, tram is your best friend. We stayed in this hotel through Easter Holiday and on Sunday they held Easter egg hunt for the children which I thought it was really nice. We are very pleased with their service and I really recommend this hotel to everyone.

The basic std double room was small and cramped and at which we asked for an upgrade… the suite that we were given was immensely superior and fulfilled our expectations… the room had extra storage, a sink, small fridge bigger Tele etc.

You will be welcomed by thieves near this hotel — I stayed this hotel in late May and got robbed my bags (including wallet, credit card, money, passport, laptop computer, tablet PC, cell phone, etc) in a restaurant on the first floor. A thief trespassed into the hotel without any restraint and stole 2 bags (my colleague's one as well) on a chair when dishing up breakfast and such situation was recorded by CCTV, their security system. Staff were not helpful at all and entering system to the restaurant was meaningless. Anyhow I do think they should have done an action to help guests stucked in a such absurd situation but they have done nothing. (Please remind. This hotel will request you to pay all room charge at the first time. There is no deposit). Really, they did nothing but even refused my request for favor to escape from robbery situation. What they did for me was just informing to contact their insurance company speaking French only. I was in chaos without their help. Now, 3 months have been passed however I only received 1~2 French emails from the company that they cannot compensate anything for my loss since the evidences I submitted were in English or my own language (such as invoice, receipt, etc) and evidential receipts of my possession are not in French. They even said I should have taken care of my stuff even if I am in the hotel. Until now, I've sent several reminding mails to keep my right.

A very economical hotel room for a fairly unfair price. Drinks at 4 degrees, a buffet at 15 degrees with little variety.
A fairly small shower with doors that only open because they are closed using magnets.
But otherwise a good hotel despite more expensive prices.

The reception is correct but nothing more. Not a little welcome or a word of departure. Breakfast is ok. The size of the suite is perfect. The bedding is good. However the state of the suite is really limited. The finishes are non-existent, the carpet damaged and the cleanliness really leaves something to be desired. This establishment clearly does not meet the standards of a 4 star but rather a 3 star. Compared with other Novotel, this is clearly the least good.
Overall disappointed with our stay.

Booked for work. Good location, practically downtown in 10 minutes of walking you reach the main monuments and city center. The room is large and spacious, but essential. In the summer season the swimming pool is open. I didn't like breakfast, little choice and few tables available and although I had asked for a non-smoking room the upholstery is the smoke-proof curtains. That's why I check 2 stars.

After staying in several Novotel this is by far the worst one. The staff is not friendly to non french speakers and not accommodating. And flat out liars. When I checked in I asked for a baby crib. The front desk agent said they don't have any cribs on the property. Next morning I saw in the room next door a crib. Also they are not supposed to charge for children and they charge me an extra 30 euro. Look for a better property to stay in.

Great place to stay. Fantastic rooms.

Ideally located, between the motorway and the city centre. The rooms are air-conditioned and spacious. Parking available, paid. 24-hour home for night arrivals. A nice pool. Breakfast is fine whatever expensive.

Very nice hotel.

Very good hotel, well placed close to the motorways at the entrance of Montpellier. Services are good, gym, heated pool… And the rooms are certainly a bit dated but very clean. Only downside, no restaurant but the closest ones are a 5 minute walk away.

Very good reception of the staff and the spaces are very well planned as well as the room.

It stinks the pee in the bathroom, very old hotel, fortunately the mattress is good (as in all Novotel) for tourists it's fine.

Good to stay but need a better GYM and a good restaurant.

Nice hotel even though the décor of the rooms is a bit "old — to my liking. The cleanliness is however impeccable and the staff extremely friendly.

Pro's: Large and quite silent room, firm mattress, in-room safe, little kitchen, city-near location, mainly tasty and early breakfast, spacious parking, very friendly and helpful staff Con's: Shower only for people up to 180cm useable, very cold room and air-con "heater" can't help it, very cold in restaurant. So-called scrambled eggs are more like some egg-cream-mash-something — awful! hotplate for fried eggs broken for 4 consecutive days — no one cares : (

Not everyone will like it. Spacious rooms. Excellent staff and services. Breakfast was good. There is no restaurant to dine or dine.

Big Room. Quiet. Close to a lot of things. Only downside the price of breakfast.

Very good place to stay in Montpellier, but rooms are in need of modernization.

4 well-deserved stars, almost all rooms include a mini-apartment with a microwave bar corner, teapot and mini bar. Complimentary in the fridge a bottle of water, and at the disposal of tea, coffee and often biscuits.
Comfortable bed, functional bathroom, perfect HD TV with all international channels.
Wifi available and well functioning.
Excellent breakfast.

Beautiful surfaces: rooms, lobby. That make you forget the old-fashioned side of the unrenovated parts. Plus: fitness room and swimming pool. Location 20 minutes walk from the comedy but 5 mins from the quays (restaurants, lively bars. )

Much better this time round. Suite is a nice sized room. Clean tidy and friendly staff. Very good value and better than other surrounding hotels.

The rooms are aging but spacious. The breakfast is plentiful and the welcome drink always enjoyable.
We will probably regret not being able to use the stairs to get to or leave the floor of his room.

I couldn't understand why they have so many stars. The rooms are loud, so you can hear all neighbors and the shower is molding. 10€ for parking is quite expensive and 15€ for breakfast is strange. The fruits are very low quality and they should clean the breakfast tables. I wasn't in any hotel where I had to build dish towers, even 2 star hotels. Lucky me I have only booked one night and will change the hotel.

Spacious well equipped room. Clean. Good bed. Friendly competent english speaking staff. Sufficient parkingspace. Airco is a joke.

Overbooking regulary so they will send you to another hotel.

Very pleasant hotel. Suites are large and comfortable and include a microwave oven. Modern style. Walking distance from the center and from the nice riverside with many restaurant options around. No special charm but very practical for a couple of days. Staff is friendly.

The only plus for this hotel is big rooms, all others are less than normal, no indoor pool, no steam, no sauna, gym is really poor and small.

Perfect. The very friendly hostess with good advice for interesting restaurants nearby.

The worst of the 4 star we did.
The room is small, the furniture is dated and damaged, no trunk strong, the bathroom is 2 meters square with inside sink / toilet / shower (80 x 80 and 1 m 80 tall) and the joints are full of limestone and dirt. Room 406 is simply an extra room unworthy of a 4 stars.
The staff is nice but good as well in an Ibis.
The breakfast is also a black dot, proposal, but a lot of downtime as the scrambled eggs / sausages, hot chocolate (thank you just a chocolate powdered water) etc.
Frankly we were extremely disappointed with our stay in this hotel. We go down in plenty of hotels either 3 / 4 or 5 and we go down in 3 star hotels of the Accor groups that are a thousand times better than the Novotel Suite 4 star stolen.

Very good hotel in Montpellier we found the quality of service of the Novotel group agreement staff is very well chosen friendly it has been several times that I go to this hotel and I would definitely still problems.

Outrageous!
Wanting to cancel my reservation a week early in the month of August, the hotel has rejected my request for because of "law enforcement" while it is normally possible to have a partial or total refund to the goodwill of the one above.
It's a shame that a group as powerful and established as agreement refuses to make a gesture of goodwill knowing that it will rent the room on.

It there is no toothpaste or SOAP or other! Shocking.
