The hotel is quaint in a charming setting and has classic amenities, but the site's publicity is overrated compared to reality. So in this August, we were the only customers! The advantage was that we were able to dispose of the pool quietly. The surroundings were poorly cared for. The air conditioning in our room was not working. Instead, a large fan was placed on a strapontin. Breakfast at a rate of 19 euros offered nothing special compared to a 3-star hotel. Uninteresting, value for money. We will not go back.

Great weekend! The hotel is elegant even if it is in its juice decoration a little past but everything is comfortable with the rooms and with the services. Pool coocooning corner super nice outdoor spaces super pretty nice staff to small care for guests. If you don't like the charm of small towns and you like luxury bobo don't come this will avoid your petty and unfounded comments. Thanks to the hotel and restaurant staff! We'll be back!

Excellent welcome, the staff is listening and the place esg beautiful. The rooms are exceptional, charming and modern at the same time. The garden, terrace and pool are beautiful. I highly recommend.

Having kept a very good memory of this establishment a few years ago (gastronomic cuisine, excellent service. Etc. ), I had decided to book a surprise table for my mother's birthday.
Huge disappointment!
We arrive, I tell one of the servers my reservation and my last name, he refers me to another waitress who does not calculate us. Then another server arrives, does not ask us the name of the reservation and places us. I needed him to know who we were because I wanted candles for my mother's dessert.
We choose the classic formula at 60 euros each without the wine (fun mouth, starter, dish, cheese or dessert). And we take a bottle of Sancerre at 55 euros that did not break 3 legs a duck, the wine was slightly too acidic.
The amusebouches were 2 slices of coarsely parated salmon where there was still the black of the fish. Announced marinated, I smelled only olive oil and I frankly doubted the freshness of the fish.
The starter on the other hand was good, terrine of foie gras good with its chutney and half cooked tuna and terrine very well.
But then the nightmare begins. The dishes arrive, we both take the St Pierre which is a delicious and expensive fish, besides we pay an extra 5 euros for this choice.
I've never seen a fish so undercooked in an establishment that claims to be a gourmet. It was curled up, dry, without flavors. However the sauce and garnish served with was good (asparagus, peppers. ).

Very nice restaurant with a pleasant garden where you can eat and relax. High level French cuisine with prices that are in line with the level. I spent 85€ for a menu including a starter and a main course, plus wine, plus aperitif.

Nice breakfast. Cosy atmosphere (although a bit dark). Impeccable Service and refined dishes.

Delicious dishes in the restaurant, a beautiful setting in the hotel (what about the garden and the pool! ). The note is a bit salty, but it's really worth it.

Historic residence on the edge of the forest: a warm welcome, a fine cuisine, a gastronomic service or brasserie style (private lounge), a cheese platter, an expert cellar, tasty desserts. The rooms are very comfortable and the pool coming out to the right.

We tested the bistro, gourmet break very nice, excellent cuisine, attentive service, fast and efficient… Bravo to the whole team!

Very very very average for the price exésif, nice employee by cons The owner of the establishment is very unpleasant, I do not really advise this address the food and mediocre and the rooms are not necessarily very clean and the decoration is Very old-fashioned…

A real hunting relay in juice. I knew the restaurant gastro and pure this time I tested the bistro. Beautiful kitchen in the form of a menu at fair prices.

Beautiful setting on the edge of the forest of Fontainebleau refined and excellent cuisine. Friendly and full of attentions.

Disappointing at all levels. Room that smells of moisture and mildew. Cold and very expensive meals in addition to being very long. This is not a 4 star, has the Rigor 1 star and again. It must have been good 20 years ago, it remained in the state. There are only high prices that are of a 4 star level.

Breakfast service is poor. Waiters are taking away plates from the buffet whilst you sit or eat and don't seem to be very happy with welcoming guests. 42 euros for 2 people for bread and cheese is way too overpriced. Dont recommend to anyone.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a quiet town. The rooms are well equipped and the staff is wonderfully pleasant and patient even though I spoke no french. I did not get a chance to dine at the in house restaurant but I did order some room service which was very good.

This was once an amazing hotel… it requires new management and a very significant reburbishment… above all the staff should attend customer service training… very lazy and unhelpful. I cannot believe they left the premises in such bad condition. Dirt was left in the stairwell for days! Whilst the food was good. It was VERY overpriced and the desert looked like it was done by the chef's child (stuck some candies around the plate! ). And to top it all off, the maitre D/manager was extremely pushy with the wine menu! Someone please buy out and restore this place! No wonder it is NO LONGER part of the Relais-Chateaux group! Not up to snuff indeed!

Historic steps from the forest, remains in the hands of the same family for half a century: a warm, a fine kitchen, a food service or style Brewery (private room), a cheese plate out of time, a cellar of expert, tasty desserts. The rooms are very comfortable and the pool out to the right.
