Everything. Very Hot, no A/C, they care less about clients. Staff always on their cellphones. Will never stay with IBIS again.

Its a basic hotel. The room is sufficient, but a bit small. The breakfast is good, but the bar lacks. Overall you get what you pay. But the people are friendly and helpfull.

The most awful experience in our whole 17 day trip to Europe! Not enough towels and when asked for more were told that they don’t have enough! Like we were asking for towels from a supermarket! No AC and when complained were told that the problem was “global” and we can call their boss to ask for a discount! Like we’re here on our vacation to spend hours on the phone and beg for a discount! Extremely rude and unhelpful staff they seem to take everything personally and don’t seem to have had even one hour of training in how to treat a frustrated customer. We were charged fully even though we booked a room with AC and never got it. When I told the front desk that we haven’t slept for 2 nights cause it’s so warm in our room she came back with: it’s not summer yet! They decide when the customers should be hot and use the AC but still charge them for a room with AC. Also, you need 2 people to close the sliding bathroom door which never fully closes so you can see, hear and smell everything your roommate does. I guess that is what the Ibis considers part of the romantic Paris experience! The wood of the door frame in the bathroom is rotting away because the water from your shower leaks onto the floor and forms a puddle there but you have to make a choice whether to dry yourself or use you rationed towels to soak up the mess on the floor. Unfortunately zero stars is not an option. Just awful! Will never ever go again!

Normal home, no more. Great location, close to La Cigale Concert Hall. A room on the courtyard was requested when booking on the Ibis site. Result room on the street! Old building but room and sanitary very clean. Metro and small shops nearby.

The view of the Eiffel Tower is great, it has greatly lifted the level of this aging hotel with a more than average welcome! Ideally located. The breakfast was good!

Very good location for that in the corner there is metro bus stop, a market, rooms good, the only thing that I really liked the beds you resbalabas with the mattresses. Service well.

Very good location, however the room was too small and did not correspond with the images that we had seen on the web page. This disappointed quite a bit, although the ratio quality-price was not bad considering the average price per night in Paris.

Room and bathroom too small, elevator claustrofobico almost did not fall two people. Clean and very well located.

Area full of immigration, sex shops and souvenir shops. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at this Ibis on the 20th March for three nights. Brilliant breakfast and gluten free bread if requested. Rooms are small but beds are really comfortable and pillows are great. Very clean but could do with updating. We came to see Paris so rooms great for short stay. Our room was facing a busy road but not bothered by traffic as double glazing installed. If you want a great area to stay in which is diverse and vibrant with lots of choice of restaurants with the beautiful Sacre Coeur at the back of the hotel and the Moulin Rouge just down the road the Ibis is a great choice.

Good price in Paris. It is very close to the cathedral of the Sacred Heart and a few steps from the metro and Carrefour, that is good, however it is very very small, the elevator only fits one person and a suitcase, the area we were told it was dangerous though in truth we never had any problems with it. At the carrefour around the corner, we tried the best macaroons in all of Paris! is the swear! all the bakery of carrefour is very good there. If you want to prepare a sandwich don't look for ham that we use in Mexico, it's very expensive haha, best use of cheese and serrano ham, it is very cheap there. To climb the sacred heart, I recommend to pay the elevator, if I recall it costs one or two euros, and will be the best euros spent in paris haha, you're going to sslir more expensive the water up there haha. By the way, always load your water bottle, there are many drinking fountains to fill them, it is very acara beyond.

The room towards the staircase was very noisy because the staircase-door always made a very loud "thud" on closing. The power went off for like 45minutes in the evening. The bathroom is more than small and should urgently be renovated. Worst were the spotlights on the facade: They also were directed into the room and the curtains couldn't even partly block the light so the room was very bright the whole night. For this price a terrible hotel.

Great hotel Small Lift 2 steps from the Sacred Heart and not far from the Moulin Rouge.

Great location. The hotel itself is very good and the rooms are very clean. The service is great too.

Hotel renovated since 2015/2016. Impeccable bedding completely changed in 2016

Terrible. We had to change rooms 4 times, because there was always something wrong in each one. All the first floor rooms with street views have HUGE light bulbs immediately above the window, and the curtains can't prevent the light from coming in. In the night it's like you haven't turned the room lights off. The rooms with no street views have the windows in an interior yard, and you can see perfectly the other guest rooms and what are they doing… remember that this hotel is in an area full of sex shops, strip clubs and xxx theaters. The staff barely speaks English, and when they finally gave us a room we thought was ok, the air conditioner/heater didn't work and was losing water all the time. In that same room, the bathroom "door" (watch video) was completely broken and it was really hard to move, to the point that I got traped inside and I stood there for 30 min because nobody in the staff would understand what happened and wouldn't come to help. Ah, and don't even think about coming here with kids, someone offered us cocaine in front of the hotel.

Very well connected. The rooms are very nice. Everything at a reasonable price, especially considering it's Paris, which is always expensive.

Quiet place away a bit ugly people seem to mmmmmmm.

Ideally located; attentive staff, impeccable room with views of the Parisian rooftops and the Eiffel Tower. Only downside, the shower a little small if not RAS.

Too bad that many faults have ruined the stay. Dry croissants (not fresh), no fruit salad, air conditioning that makes noise at the start (CLAC, CLAC, CLAC), no broom WC. Shame…

Typical Paris hotel. Good walking distances to major attraction Sacré Coeur. Can easily walk into the city on a good day if you like walking or there are metro links nearby. Great staff and cute rooms. Ask for a room on the top floor facing the street and you’ll have a view of the Effie Tower!

Great spot to stay when Jimmy Buffett plays at la Cigale. Has not been renovated the last 5 years that I am staying here. Some Things should be renewed. Rooms rather small.

Hotel in need of some serious renovations. The room is small and feels overcrowded. Even though the space was always clean the mildew stench coming from the rotten wood in the bathroom never let it feel that way. I know that I was in France and french is the spoken language but this is an international hotel when you politely ask if the reception staff speaks english and they reply positively in french you know that something is not right.

Room and breakfast excellent. Staff courteous and helpful. One star off because the room info appeared to offer an evening meal if requested, but the staff had not been trained about it.

Stay there for a weekend on the 9th floor.
Great price, excellent view from the top floor on the Eiffel Tower and other landmarks. Great room cleaning. The staff was really helpful.
The 10, 50 Euro breakfast really worth the price. Good possibilities for smokers to eat at the courtyard and have a smoke and coffee after breakfast.
Near to café, supermarket, metro station and souvenir shops.
Will definitely come back if I visit Paris again.
If you want a hotel relatively central, for a cheap price. This is the hotel for you!

Stayed 8/08/2017 — Best value going round! Surprise packet of a place. Got a room on the 9th floor with an amazing view of the Eiffel tower and other Paris landmarks.

Hotel little but of attention and service correct. Well located to visit the area of mont matre.

Excellent care and treatment by staff. Excellent location, meters from the subway and close to everything. The only criticism we would make is that the shower was extremely small and for bathing had to be a contortionist.

Environment agradabale. Good attention.

I was a little dubious after reading some of the reviews I had read about this hotel. However my girlfriend and I decided to book it as we only really needed a bed for the nights we were staying, as we were going to be exploring the rest of the time. I have to say I am so glad we did! It is ideally looked about 5-10 minutes walk from the Sacré-Cœur, and a 3 minute walk from a Metro station. We arrived exactly at the earliest Check-In time, where we were pleasantly greeted by one of the receptionists. As we were staying for 5 nights she recommended to return in an hour or so after some more of the rooms had been cleaned so we could have one of the rooms which looked onto the courtyard at the back as those are slightly bigger. We happily agreed, took a walk to the Sacré-Cœur (stunning views across the city). Upon returning we were given room 505, which apparently was one of the biggest at the hotel. It was ideal for us, not a view out over the city but we weren't planning on just staying in the hotel to look at the city! The lift in the hotel is apparently the smallest in Paris, which I would agree with as it only holds 3 people (minus luggage), if you have big suitcases it's likely you'll have to go up individually. The entrance area and eating/bar area or quite modern and very well kept. The rest of the hotel is a little dated and the air conditioning units are also a little dated but worked well in the 32 degree weather while we were there.

Arrived and our room was double booked! The staff went out their way to get us into a superior room. And they succeeded! Went to Mercure down the road and it was fab
Arrived early yesterday morning. Eventually was given the room we had originally booked. Great room. Fantastic views over Paris. Juliette balcony. Superb. Just wish we had been there for both nights that we'd booked!

Only just checked in half an hour ago or so, and I can already confidently review this place as Excellent! We LOVE OUR ROOM! We chose to book 'room with eiffel tower view. ' and the view really is WONDERFULLY BEAUTIFUL with Eiffel tower skyline. Can't wait to see it at night when tower is lit up! :) All amenities are nice and clean and in excellent order :) The cherry on the top though that makes me feel compelled to review right away — the lovely lady at the front desk. She was so considerate and an absolute credit to Ibis. Would definitely recommend this place to others and would love to stay again. Location, Staff, Quality, everything is excellent. Merci beaucoup Ibis!

We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Friendly staff.

I was at this hotel in 2007, the location is very good, because it makes Sacre Cour, a few meters walk. The neighborhood and ambiance is very good and you have many sites about food. The downside is that the rooms were old, but I think that they have now renewed. The breakfast was good, with bread and croissants, fresh and very good.

1st room: no air condition. Broken window which doesn't lock. Asked to change to another room. 2nd room: still no air condition, stuck on fan only, with broken knobs. Have to leave window open, and listen to noisy street down below. 2 out of 3 lights in the room not working. Ants in the bathroom. And finally, TV not working. This low room quality would be about $45 back in the states. Alas, we spent $110 /night, which is in retrospect, a rip off. Staff is responsive, but this is an older Ibis, and quite frankly, looks crappy compared to some others, out of the same brand. This stay sucks and I wish I would have never booked this hotel. Will never be back to this one ever again.

Very good value for a hotel in Paris. Well connected by public transport.

Not expensive for us so well in value for money (avet booking) but not terrible insulation, shower leaking a bit, TV not working.

5-10 min walk from Sacre Coeur, two underground stations 5min away. City bike rental nearby. If you don't mind 10min walk for a breakfast outside the hotel (anyway is paid extra) there are several places all around, but we preferred a bakery at Abbesses station. There is another ibis hotel at Montmartre, but this is nice small (compared to the other one) hotel. Maybe it is the reason why the rooms are pretty small, but you are not in Paris to enjoy spacious rooms, or? Thanks to the location, you can enjoy the park at Sacre Coeur every morning nearly alone just after the 5min walk.

-We slept really well. One night for a concert on the c cigalle is the top. 200 metres from the room. Ideal.
-However not to look too detailed to the level of the bathroom (bar the handshower attachment not complete, a hole in enclose them the shower tray, curtain too small in height, cloc of paint on the ceiling, not done vmc contour = a improve. )
-Breakfast extra, many choices.
I recommend if it is only for one night. (Ns n have not spent more time ^ ^)

Hotel well connected by public transport but the neighborhood isn't the greatest and perhaps dangerous at night. Very close to to the Sacré Coeur and the Moulin Rouge. Hotel overpriced for the facilities provided and rooms quite old.

I was in this hotel in June of 2015, and my experience was very bad, the rooms were small, the air conditioning did not cool enough, the atmosphere, the lift is VERY small, can fit only two people (no backpacks or luggage), the staff working in the hotel is poor and not serving in a good way, I also STOLE 300 dollars out of the wallet, which I left in my backpack in the room while I went out to explore the city, it is unfortunate that you do NOT HAVE safes in the rooms. The truth is that I don'T RECOMMEND IT because it is expensive and the service offered was very bad.

With this hotel you need to be prepared to get what you pay for! Rooms are small, bathroom small and generally service is hit and miss. Although small is what to expect with inner city hotel rooms, this hotel, in places feels a little unloved. The lift is really small and if you have issues with lifts then this would be game over for you. The location is closed to both Anvers and Pigalle metro stations on the number 2 line and a short walk from the Moulin Rouge and the Montmatre district. With regard to the main attractions and sights this location is not the best. As Paris has a little sinister feel after dark, we chose to get a taxi home, which would cost between €12 — €20, which if you added to the nightly cost of the hotel we would have chosen a nearer location. Reception staff are hit and miss. One day the shift staff are happy and welcoming and then other times it is like you're a stranger. So overall if you are looking for a cheap location to explore Paris and are willing to travel to get to all sights then this is your place. If you like a room that you can relax in after a long day of walking in Paris then I would suggest that you widen your search in a different area.

Very centric, close to all sorts of transportain. Only con is that is not too safe to walk at night other than that is a clean, cheap place to enjoy Montmarte.

Okay hotel, nice renovated rooms and free Wi-Fi. The shower turned cold in the middle of a 3 min shower. Big plus is the location and dogs allowed.

Lifts a bit small (2 persons at a time), shower in our room on 7th floor a bit small too, but the view to the Eiffel Tower from the balcony made up for it. The management and cleaning service was excellent. The fresh products for breakfast was really good. All in all, really good value for money, considering it is Paris and the hôtel is so close to any touristic places.

Arrived at 11: 00, no rooms available. Could put our belongings in the luggage room. Back at 5 pm, after 3 rings. There remained only the rooms directly overlooking the stairs Street (303) side or the elevator side course (201).
The refreshment of the rooms are very modest: parquet very loud. We'll see tomorrow for breakfast.

Budget place with essential confort for a backpacker couple. The are few small details that make you complain a bit such as the very tiny shower room. But you have free internet with wireless available, warmed facilities, nice bed and linen, and everything very clean, plus cheap and nice bf, etc. Better yet is the location. The hotel stands on the foot of Sacre Couer and few steps down the pleasant bar/pubs of monte martre where you meet all kind of people. Not least there still is two metro just near by. I highly recommend this hotel for young couples.

This is a good hotel for correct price (clean and good room service). There is a metro station and velib station (bicycle rent system) in 200-300 meters. Near to the hotel you can find the highest place of Paris. There is a car park near to the hotel, but it is very expensive (31EUR for 24 hour — 2011 summer). Our room was in eighth floor, and we can see Eiffel Tower from window. So that hotel is a good choice, I think. (The only negativ point: the bed was a bit small in twin room. ).

Looking for a good service and nice people? this is the WRONG place. The only pro is the location, near the subway and in the moulin rouge district.
