Nice atmosphere and friendly personal.

Nice location, very chic rooms although a bit small! The staff is friendly and keep the hotel very clean! Go for it!

Well, the location perfect. Comfy bed, clean rooms, kindy staff, good Wi-Fi connection. But, I didn’t use the fridge in my bedroom because it didn’t work and the coffee machine downstairs in the hall was out-service. So, at the end not exclusive hotel. They can effort more in the future.

Clean new but too thin partition … disagreeable.

Ideally located in a lively area, close to theatres and gourmet restaurants and bistros, this small hotel is a cocoon, in which you feel good.

Crappy service … Decent location… The reception person delayed checking me for no good reason. Don't recommend it. Till a new receptionist is hired.

Hotel very well located and very friendly décor, friendly staff, well decorated rooms but a little small and unfortunately a little noisy as street quite busy and refreshment needed in the bathrooms, 4 stars a little overpriced!

We were only on an emergency night after we cancelled the flight back. It's a nice little hotel, charming. The room we slept in was small, just for the bed and the bathroom. Alicia, the receptionist (Spanish) was very nice to us, that after the day we were grateful.

The service was impeccable, the breakfast was also a very good quality inside a nice basement diner room. But the rooms themselves gets a bit old. I recommend, the price is very well balanced.

Cute place to stay in Paris. The A/C broke, but they moved us to a sister hotel so we only stayed one night at Hotel Josephine. Setting aside the A/C failure, it would have been a great week in Paris. Staff was very friendly and helpful and amenities were great.

Decent place for the price, not really a child friendly area. We had a heat wave with no air con, bed wasn't great. Room was clean though. It was just abit Meh!

Perfect location, close to Moulin Rouge (Metro station Blanche). Upon arrival we were treated very kindly and tasted an exquisite absinthe liqueur. The room is cosy, but no mini fridge, which compensates with a wide range of drinks (non-alcoholic) for free. An experience that would repeat in a future trip to Paris.

Very nice place, very nice staff. Only complaint is our shower is facing at a 90 degree angle and water leaks from the bottom corners they puddles into the middle of the bedroom. We just held the shower head and pointed it at our bodies to stop this but probably needs to be looked into. Also our friends room is definitely smaller than ours and they are both 2 bedroom apartments and we are 2 feet away. Idk how other rooms fair but they are paying the same as us. Other than that a great hotel just small things to niggle about.

Too bad the concept could be interesting. But air conditioning down, very small room, condition of accessories and absence of water bottle are redhibitory.

We just stayed here and man the hotel staff is off the charts amazing. The people that work here are so genuinely kind and legitimately concerned for us and our well being during this trip. They made the vacation truly amazing. Rafaelle is sooo NICE. She helped us with all of our metro directions and to avoid pricey "tourist" traps. Monica literally saved us during a baggage fiasco. And Mohamet we just love you. Best hotel staff I've ever encountered. They all deserve a raise. If I come back to Paris, I know where I am staying. Highly highly highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Also breakfast croissants + eggs + cheese + tomatoes! = amazing. Thanks so much guys you made our trip amazing.

My friends and I had the pleasure of staying at this exhilarating and beautiful hotel. It was my friend's 30th birthday and unfortunately, her airline lost her bags for 24 hours. The amazing staff at Josephine stepped in to ensure that her 30th birthday was indeed an epic one. Greeted us with the "cocktail du jour. " Not to mention, the espresso shots from Nespresso right in their cozy waiting area. They were so friendly and accommodating. It felt as if we were home away home. They taught us the ins and out of Paris and really helped shape our trip. The rooms decor was impeccable. Downstairs you can read a book, play a game with friends or sip on tea and coffee, there's always something to do. If you get a chance to take advantage of the Happy Culture, do it! We roamed around the streets of Paris a lot (as you should) and I must say that it came in handy. The breakfast downstairs was great! Even downstairs had a cool hangout spot. Staying at Hotel Josephine, you are 2 blocks away from Moulin Rouge and great (inexpensive) eateries. Not to mention, you can get some really inexpensive but great quality souvenirs right down the street. If you're in the mood for ice cream, as my friends were, Amarino is a 5-10 min walk, that's where you can find delicious ice cream! Hotel Josephine is in a perfect location! And with this amazing staff, you literally cannot go wrong.

Cosy hotel with special flair of the 1920s.

We had a really pleasant stay at Hotel Joséphine. The personnel are friendly and happy to help you. The rooms were very clean and we loved the theme. Breakfast had everything you'd want. Not too much but surely not too little :) I'd recommend this hotel to everyone. Also a plus: literally a street away from Moulin Rouge. Merci!

It is a very original and cosy hotel. The cocktail of the afternoon is a bit of a scam. The best thing about it is the location. Very close to the Moulin Rouge.

The location is great. They have direct metro, plenty of restaurants and bars. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are very cozy and colourful. The bed is super comfortable. The breakfast is very varied and delicious. The rooms are also cleaned daily.

Yesterday and earlier today (29 January 2017), we received great service especially from a wonderful staff member named Monica who was working in the early evening. She was so pleasant and knowledgeable. After returning from dinner at 9:30pm on 29 January 2017, we were greeted by a very grumpy individual, named Muhammad, who refused to assist us with something as simple as one extra towel, letting us know that the hotel policy does not allow for it and that we need to make do with whatever was provided. He seemed very uninterested in us and left us with a very unpleasant exchange.

Very cuckoo, cosy, well decorated and designed, there is a free cocktail each afternoon, the breakfast buffet and very complete, two blocks from the Moulin Rouge. Perfect Hotel to go and spend a few days with your partner.

Original atmosphere, friendly host.

Staff was very friendly. Hotel very well located for a short tour in Paris. More than adequate rooms, original decoration. Breakfast plentiful and varied for all tastes, sweet, dirty, coffee, etc… We will be back.

Excellent service and the breakfast very good, the only bad thing with no elevator for people with disabilities.

A chic place, that my wife and I both loved. Staff is super attentive, and its amazingly close to the Moulin Rouge (200m). Even if not planning to visit the Moulin Rouge, the hotel is worth the visit. Rooms are great (try to get a corner or balcony room), very clean, spacious enough to not feel cramped when taking a shower. Will stay here again on future visits.

A very pleasant place to stay. Rooms, hallways, and elevators are all a bit tight by American standards, but perfectly usable unless perhaps you're a really big person. Decor is really nice, and there's a small lobby area where you can gather with friends. Breakfast is served in the "Cave" downstairs, and it's very tasty with a great variety of choices. Several nearby Metro stops. Challenge yourself in an ascent to see Montmartre and Sacre Cour while you're there, the view of Paris is wonderful.
