It is wonderfully well in this hotel where the director loves classical music and is ready for certain occasions his beautiful grand piano. The bar is lovely, the cocktails delicious, the restaurant is peaceful… this is happiness!

Excellent location, staff super attentieux, nice space for breakfast. I strongly recommend it! Every time I go to Paris I stay.

I would highly recommend this hotel! Very well located and the interior is superb, especially the breakfast room. Staff very pleasant and helpful! We dined 2 nights in a row at the bar, the meals were excellent and the staff very attentive, very professional yet laid back, the TOP.

The hotel is very clean. Beds are huge and comfy. We stayed in a superior room which was much bigger than most rooms in Paris. Great shower, toiletries provided smelled incredible. Good A/C. Great location, easy to get to most usual touristy places in Paris. I am only giving four stars because there was no kettle in the room (we like our coffee in the morning) and because we were not 100% happy with reception’s attitude when we asked why we got charged twice for city tax. It was our honeymoon break and we wanted everything to be amazing. Maybe we just have too high expectations.

It is a hotel that deserves a note of true appreciation, both for the strategic location in which it is located, which allows you to reach the most beautiful places in Paris, and for the services offered by the property in relation to the primary needs of the visitor.
Let me advise you that it is appropriate to hire specialized staff who know several languages, including the Italian language!

Hotel management refused to call the police after a theft at the front desk. They will not assist their guests. Thieves are welcomed in their lobby. Stay far away from this horrible place.

Anyone who wants to stay in this hotel needs to watch Paris theft incident: Joel and Lia. Two tourists got robbed in their lobby and they refused to take any responsibility, offer abt compensation and didn’t want to call the police because they felt it wasn’t their problem. The manager apparently admitted that theft was a common occurrence in their hotel. I advise everyone to watch that video and be safe!

An excellent hotel to stay Fantastic location, friendly and helpful staff, clean room and bathroom, delicious food with good variety, has an artistic style, I would Definitely like to stay there again.

Superb location near Place Madeleine and Galeries Lafayettes and Au Printemps. Rooms are well decked out and the family size apartment rooms are perfect for a travelling family.

Terrible service. Rude staff. Half drunk bottles in the mini bar at check in. Thin walls, you hear everything from nearby rooms during the night. Pretending to be a classier hotel but it’s a run of the mill mid-range Paris hotel with a pretty shoddy facelift.

They are rated as a 4 stare. Urate it as a 5.

An old respected hotel in the centre of Paris, close to all the attractions.
The bar is often used to record TV and radio broadcasts with Parisian stars.

Very nice hotel 2 steps from the Madeleine where stayed among others the most emblematic and virtuoso violinist of the history Yehudi Menuhin.

The room occupied was small and had all the amenities expected but they are not up to what is expected of such a starry Hotel: no duvet but an old perforated blanket, cheap care products, etc.

Its location… the best it has. It doesn't clash anyway!

A very clean hotel, with comfortable beds. Most of the staff appear motivated, polite and keen to help. So why only 2 stars? On check-in the hotel refused access to my room until I made full payment, even though they had my credit card details 6 months prior to my arrival. I ended up waiting for the local money changer to finish her late lunch and wasted about 40 minutes at check in. When we eventually were given keys to our room, we had to show our selves up to the room. The bathroom and toilet were inconveniently located in different rooms. No complimentary drinking water in the room. The double bed was not a double bed, rather, it was two singles, loosely pushed together and made up separately under the cover. The only English language channel on the hotel TV was News. Look, it is not a bad hotel, it is just a hotel, the location is great and that has been a saving grace in my scoring of this review. If you want to pay for a 4 star/5 star hotel and get an "OK" experience, then this place is OK.

I loved everything about this hotel. It's very cosy and the whole staff there were extremely helpful and friendly. It's walking distance to excellent restaurants and famous landmarks. Cleanliness was superb and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Beautiful hotel conveniently located between Madeleine and the Grands Boulevards. The welcome is pleasant and friendly. The rooms are spacious, the restaurant room for breakfast has a lot of charm. A nice address to recommend!

Decadent hotel in the centre of Paris and easily accessible to main attractions. Marvellous view of the Eiffel Tower from our room with a small balcony. Immaculate hotel with helpful and pleasant staff, ensuring a restful ambience. The sumptuous breakfast room 'c'est magnifique'! Such a shame we missed the Classic Club … a bientot:)

Lovely hotel. This hotel was amazing, the location is brilliant for touring Paris. The staff were so friendly and helpful, we enjoyed our stay for the rugby match, the decor is stunning and made our stay very romantic I can't say enough good things about Hotel Bedford. Really would recommend this hotel.

This hotel was amazing, the location is brilliant for touring Paris and the staff were so friendly and helpful, I love my stay there and it made my birthday weekend even more special, the decor is stunning and made our stay very romantic I can't say enough good things about Hotel Bedford. The room was wonderful. The hotel very upscale. Flea market on sat. Around the corner. Save some time do the hop on hop off bus. I would give the hotel 5 stars. Mang. Front desk wonderful.

The location was great, lack of Wi-Fi connection at the my stay, should be around top left corner location looking from the front of the hotel. No kettle/ tea & coffee in the room. Slightly more expensive to my preference. Visited July 2015

This is a great hotel with highly professional and friendly staff. The location for tourists is perfect, two minutes north of the Madeleine and two minutes south of Boulevard Haussmann in the 8th arrondissement. Their food is good for the price and star-rating, and the room was perfect, with a very comfortable bed, though Americans, who all seem to complain about small rooms in European hotels, may want more. Don't expect the TV to be up to much: French TV is abysmal, but that's not why you travel to Paris, is it?! I will definitely go back next time I am in Paris.

Having spent all my business life in the hotel and catering industry, I can vouch for the excellence of the Hotel Bedford. Owned by the Barrut family for three generations, this hotel is the friendliest and most comfortable my wife and I have stayed in. Forget the expensive "gourmet" restaurants in Paris — — — — the food at the Bedford is superb, the staff are most helpful (some have worked there over 20 years) and the standard of cleanliness throughout is exemplary. Eric the concierge and his staff will move mountains to meet your needs, the bar and restaurant staff are very professional, the chambermaids cheerful and helpful, and of course, the great food in the restaurant for lunch, and the Bedford Grill for dinner. This hotel is good value and is situated in the heart of Paris. "A bientôt".
