Good rental. Room a little small. Bathroom overlooks the back yard so not very discreet. You can hear people in the hallway. Comfortable bed no more.

Excellent location for our onward trip from Gare Montparnasse. We had room 44 with twin beds and it was clean and comfortable. Ate out as there is an abundance of places to choose from.

Nice location. Friendly but overworked reception staff, but cleaning staff inefficient. Aircon in room no. 63 not set right despite repeated requests during our 4 day stay. Bathroom shower fitted in such a way that water got spilt up to the basin.

Very small rooms, small elevator. We stayed there for a week in June. The elevator broke down for an entire day and we had to take the stairs to the 5th floor. Breakfast area is very small and can get very crowded past 8am. The hostess was very rude — she waggled her finger at my mother when 3 of us tried to sit together at a 2 person table when there was no other table available. Not impressed with this hotel at all. Not professional staff. Do not recommend.

Clean and quiet rooms, attentive staff, decent breakfast.

Great location, knowledgeable staff, rooms were a little cozy, but it was perfect since the my girlfriend and I hardly spent time in the room.

Clean and quiet, 2 steps from Montparnasse!

Hotel is located on a good place near Montparnasse metro station. Room was nice and clean however we have been missing toilet seat on our toilet. When I was asking receptionist to replace it, she wrote it down (in the morning) and still wasn't there in the evening. So I went to different guy on reception and he was really nice, went with us to check wha'ts wrong and immediatelly gave us different room. He was really good.

Well placed, clean. Works with extras at the reception which do not have procedures (laborious to have an invoice and the instructions for use of parking tickets…). Nevertheless very correct.

Lovely small hotel in a great area. Easy for public transport and great food. Will stay again.

The location is very good, but the attention leaves much to be desired… you can see they have internal conflicts between the staff and make the guests are comfortable. The rooms are okay, but the bathroom, especially the held showerhead in a poor state. And the worst thing is that it does NOT comply with what is provided! Would not return… in this city so beautiful there are thousands of hotels, I don't think wasting time here again.

The place is locado central of everything. 30 minutes to the lourve. 40 minutes to Eiffel tower by walking.

Since then a hotel is very to keep in mind to stay very long in Paris and that for sure we would repeat in case of return to Paris.

Good size room however dated and SO SO hot. I tried to turn the thermostat down to a low as it'd go and turn off the heating however the room was SO ridiculously hot in the middle of winter even the cleaner commenting on how hot the room was. Water pressure in shower average. Breakfast was okay. Make sure you get down early or else you'll miss out — literally! Once something is gone they won't replace it. One morning I just had cheese on bread and cereal as there was nothing left at 9am. Good selection of pastries however coffee terrible and cold meats / sausage and scramble eggs average. A fair walk to the main attractions in Paris especially the Lourve and Champs Elysees. Not much in that part of the Saint Germain area. I'd probably choose somewhere else to stay next time that's further down the street towards the Seine.

Very close to the Gare Montparnasse. The rooms are of sufficient size and are very clean. The breakfast buffet (salty and sweet) is plentiful and of good quality. The staff are very friendly.
Too bad the neighborhood is no more lively!

Nice hotel and view so you can do some people watching from up above. The room I stayed in was showing obviously signs of wear and tear. But still very comfortable and enjoyable.

It's a nice hotel. Located in the center of Paris. Pure, European hotel.

We learned there better kept hotels within a few meters of this hotel. Do not purchase the breakfast they run out of food very fast some day no sausage and our last do no eggs at all. We came down at 7am start of breakfast. Yet they still want 28 euro for two. The bones of the hotel are up to date and room sized are in keeping with Euro standards but still they are small. You can do better for the same price.

The hotel was renowated nicely, quiet and service was really plasant. The location was reaöly good. Good worth of money spent!

Quaint hotel with a whole lot of charm! Hotel staff were friendly, the room impeccable. No ventilation system in the bathroom, which caused steam to build up but it cleared fairly quickly. Interesting choice of wallpaper but not offputting. Location was great! Right near a main metro station so getting around wasn't hard at all. Thanks for a pleasant stay!

24 hours without hot water and the receptionist don't have any ansewers, probably the worst hotel I stayed in, thanks for ruined our trip.

Good place to stay but nothing luxurious. Staff was friendly but rooms were small. Fortunately we got upgraded to a triple, which was a good bit roomier than the superior room. Breakfast was satisfactory.

A good place to stay in the centre of the city. The locality is great in terms of attractions, market and public conveyances. The staff is helping and curtious. They have free breakfast that helps a lot in this city since the food is relatively costly. The room we got was not street facing but still it was beautiful from inside. Clean and contained everything we needed. We had a nice stay there. :)

The hotel has an ideal location, you can walk, take the bus or get on the metro. Shopping, museums, restaurants and open markets all within walking distance. The hotel staff is professional and very helpful procuring taxis and arranging tours. The breakfast is a perfect start for a day in Paris.

Great rooms and fully-functioning features make this a great place to stay.

Only have good things to say: super welcoming staff, extremely helpful receptionist, lovely atmosphere, fantastically located, clean, great breakfast, fair prices… Had a wonderful stay in Royal Saint-Germain. Looking forward to come back. A must if you're looking for a place to stay in Paris.
