This "hotel" was a disgrace. The lobby is less than welcoming. Staff hanging around the breakfast area; front desk clerk acted like we were asking a favor when we arrived to check in. She was very rude; tried to overlook the telltale signs that this was not going to get better, big mistake! Went up to a "room" I would not even let my pets sleep in — cleanliness, safety, comfort — all missing. We did not even put our bag down on the floor or bed for fear of contamination. Run and cancel your reservation now! When we returned downstairs to front desk — they did not understand what was so wrong. Have they even ever been into one of these rooms — clearly not if they think everything is "ok". Yikes!

The room is disgusting. AC doesn’t work, no battery in the AC remote, water kettle is rusted, toilet smells like bleach. Too bad.

The rooms are not in a very satisfying condition. Everything is a little dated/stained, … We hear a lot of his neighbors having fun at night. Next to that, the staff soccupe well from the room. The fact that the hotel is right next to the Metro is a big plus.

3 star Hotel with simple decor. Very useful the presence of a small fridge and kettle in the room. A good cleaning of the room. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The metro in front of the entrance of the city.

Rooms and unsanitary molds everywhere. Expensive and stale breakfast.

Room basic but clean bathroom needed updating. Great location for metro links to go sight seeing.

I do not know how this hotel can have 3 stars, even if the staff is nice, it is not enough, it is missing a lot to have the 3 stars… Among other things towels for example, poor quality shampoo…

Unsanitary room! Home leaving to be desired! I recommend to avoid at all costs!

Low budget hotel, room smells a little bad, prob cause are old rooms. The heater doesn't work. You have to turn on a. C. On the max so you might have warm room. You have a balcony and bathtub. For a weekend is fine. The location is good as you can walk around to everywhere like Opera, Lafayette, Marais… One of the guys who stay at reception is a bit moody. Quite rude sometimes. My Wi-Fi wasn't working well and he couldn't help me at all. And said that I messed up on my phone. Which wasn't that. And he laugh at it.

The receptionist was very friendly, not like her partner, we asked for a double bed and they gave us two singles, we talked about it, and when we came back, we got the two beds together. The elevator worked at times and being in a 4 °, not very funny, the bathroom with humidity on the roof, empty fridge, room service. Inefficient. That's right, the beds very comfortable and well located, the subway walk to door.

Very well placed. Recently renovated room. Very friendly staff.

Price n location-fair Room — not ok because I can hear people talking in their rooms which is near to mine, the sounds of their tv, the sound of the door banging. I can't sleep till everything quiet down…

Good location but with some shady streets. We did not appriciate the owner promising to fix our refrigerator for 4 whole days and never did! And the refrigerator in the other room we had that had a loose door… The beds were new and hard, that was good. But even if you have a lower class hotel, you don't have to not have it maintained. No stop in the sink, toilette seat was loose, broken chairs, the radiator was loose, bad Wi-Fi, expensive poor breakfast, paint falling of, the rooms was soposed to have balcony but the didn't. We will NOT visit this hotel again.

This hotel was adequate for a short stay in paris. It was not fancy.

It has a nice location. The hotel is located right next to a metro station. The rooms were clean but old.

Stay away. Worst experience ever. Basically I booked a double room with a king size bed, when I came to check in, it was a different room, with 2 single beds, fridge that didn't work, and a bathroom without an overhead shower. When I complained about the room, they told me the room I booked was given to someone else, and that they had to change my room into another one mid-stay, because they even let that room to someone else! After talking to 3 nice employees/receptionists, I changed the booking, and paid for it. They didn't give me a receipt, kept the room key, and told me when I come back, they will check me into a larger room, which turned out the room I booked (still crap fridge). The manager was the rudest, very combative and impolite. He wouldn't accept the change of booking, even though I confirmed it with 3 of his colleagues. I am appalled! Finally, even the staff know how bad it is; one of the staff said to me "this hotel is lost". Stay away.

We stayed 1 night in this hotel and it was wonderful. Clean, convenient, and within walking distance of the metro in fact it stops right in front of the hotel. We walked from hotel to all the spots including the arc de triumph, the louver and eifle tower. Thats a lot of walking and may not be for everyone. Cab from eifle tower to the hotel was abiut €15. Restaurants, bakery and bars close by as well as a convenience store. I will definitely return here if I ever return to París.

We stayed during the 'last week of August in Paris and we chose Hotel Clery, due to its very central location for all of our trips, the subway station is located right outside of the hotel. The rooms are very clean and the staff is welcoming and friendly. The breakfast is very good with quality products. It will definitely be our hotel on our next trip we will do in Paris. Congratulations to the owners about how to manage and care they have for their hotel.

Heating, door and window that does not close, water out of age. Brief unworthy.
