Great hotel in a great location in Paris. Close to Opera House and many restaurants. I first came here in 1980 and have enjoyed it ever since.

We had a wonderful time staying at this hotel. It is very close to the Metro, so getting around was very convenient. We walked to the Louvre, the Opera, Touileries Gardens, Cathedral of Notre Dame, and many more. The breakfast was fabulous, and the staff was very friendly. They spoke very good English also, which was a big plus.

Very convenient hotel in the area just a short walk from the subway. Our triple room was comfortable, clean and very quiet. Great and plentiful as buffet choices. Promoted in full!

Comfortable and small Hotel, in excellent location, close to the Grand Opera and a large metro station. The rooms were simple. We got a two-story room. Simple but food and comfortable.
The breakfast is very good, quite varied especially in the bakery part. Very good treatment and attention.

Nice hotel, conveniently located a 5-minute walk from the Metro and the Opéra Garnier. Very clean and friendly rooms and bathrooms, well maintained, well equipped and bedding of exceptional comfort. This is our 2nd stay at Daunou, and we highly recommend this quiet and cosy establishment.

The hotel is really very very but very good. Besides, it is very well located (150 m from the Opera where many meters pass all the time). The rooms are very comfortable, comfortable, cozy and very clean. The breakfast is amazing, there are many things to eat and it is all very rich, well fresh and of very good quality, even the coffee is also very good (coffee of freshly ground machine). The cold cuts and the cheeses are excellent. Scrambled eggs with sausages, delicious. The bread, the best in France. The juices are natural and freshly made. The staff is excellent. What good luck we had in finding such a place to spend a very good day in the city of Lights…!. Congratulations Daunou Opera Hotel…!

Convenient transportation, free travel good choice, in this location has such a price OK, near the function of eating and drinking is enough, from the subway station is also very close, if you want to buy luxury bags and so on, Spring department store and so on in the vicinity do not have to ride, but also directly in the spot on different floors to handle tax rebate completed You can consider it when you get to Paris.

Location at the top, between Opéra and place Vendôme. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was great. I recommend!

Very comfortable, simple. Excellent location near the means of transportation.

The +: location, reception, quality of the bedding.
The —: room "quiet" overlooking the boiler house which has buzzed all night; exiguity of the room invaded by a gigantic bed well useless for a single person.

The hotel is very well located, ideal for visiting Paris. Comfortable room with very good bedding, clean. Staff friendly and available. Good breakfast, very hearty. We will not hesitate to return during a future stay in Paris.

Hotel is very friendly. With the desk staff speaking good English. The breakfast is decent for a 3 star hotel. Be wary when staying here over a weekend as their is a theatre across the road and some of the rooms are on the street side in the building, this may mean some noise during the night but nothing too major during my stay. The hotel is very good though, we requested a twin room with two beds but got a double room (since we had a massive group with multiple room orders the had to process a lot), the maid that works in the hotel was very understanding as well the desk staff and they resolved the issue quickly. Rooms are decent size and compact. They are small (3 star hotel size). The larger rooms like the triple room have they toilet and bathroom seperate which is ideal for small families. Location is very ideal as it's in the centre of Paris and is walking distance with all types of shops and some attractions, as well as a metro.

The hotel is very comfortable, clean and well localized. The staff is helpful and kind.

Very central and close by to multiple metro stops and stone throw from Galeries Lafayette helps you with last minute shopping spree. Room is extremely small get the larger room with the balcony the upgrade costs very little. Front desk tries hard to help but best rely on you GPs for directions. There is only one elevator and the wait can be long. Would recommend if you are there to just sleep and shower.

I never had such a bad experience with a hotel. The hotel has been dishonest, not trustworthy at all and shall be given no credit! My company has booked me the hotel for a business trip. When I arrived at the night at 10pm after a long day, the hotel told me that there is no room for me DESPITE the fact my company has booked the room. But instead gave a room to a man that's just walked in. The receptionist told me that that man was a frequent guest so he gets the room without booking. He says that he can do nothing about it but sending me to another hotel (which tends out to be a horrible one and gave me a single room although my company booked a double room). As a young woman travelling alone late night in Paris I had no choice. I insisted them to at least order me a taxi to transfer me to there. What the most outrageous thing is: at the end they charged me a much higher rate for the night I am forced to spend in a hotel for a single room, although my firm has booked a double room for two nights at a better hotel. They also charged for breakfast although they said that would be free. Not trustworthy, I am claiming back the payment with my card provider. I would suggest my company to remove the hotel from corporate booking list. No credibility, horrible stay.

Spent three nights in the hotel and it was absolutely perfect! So central (without being noisy or uncomfortably busy), very friendly staff, lovely breakfast, clean and reasonably sized room and modern feel. Highly recommend for all city-goers.

I really liked my staying in this hotel. I've tried a number of hotels around Opera and this is probably one I would go back again. The room was big enough (at least for Paris standards) with a big bathroom as well. It was quite and the stuff really helpful. What was a bit annoying was the fact that I had to leave the key at the reception every time I went out and ask for it when back. Also, the decoration could be a bit more modern, but it was ok.
