The staff at this hotel has been amazing. We checked in last minute after an AirBNB experience gone wrong. Everyone here was so accommodating and helpful. They got us in and, even though they did not have enough rooms were creative and thoughtful about our situation. The hotel is very centrally located and we were able to walk around the neighborhood and find exactly what we needed. We really appreciate L’Empire Paris for helping us out and making us feel welcome. They have savaged our vacation!

Did stay here but used it to store our bags via Nannybag. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Even the bar staff filled all of our flasks with water (no charge) and there were 11 of us! Fast service and beautiful, modern hotel. I will definitely look to stay here should I visit Paris again. Central location, between the Louvre and Chatelet Les Halles train station.

Wonderful location, easy access to Lourve and your high St shops Breakfast is great and plentiful and they mix a stiff cocktail, not at all mean with the alcohol. Bed comfy, room is spacious, clean and has all the treats like robe and complimentary slippers. Building is very old and requires some maintaining so carpets in hall etc seen better days but overall the staff are so helpful, friendly and accommodating. I would happily book again.

My husband and I tested the hotel's private spa. It features a Jacuzzi, sauna and Hammam. A real escape. We will definitely come back.

I did an internship and the staff was very friendly and I stayed also and it was super comfort but small flat it's ultra expensive.

We used with my husband the private spa for an hour and a half with a massage for an hour and half a bottle of champagne and it was an amazing experience. We were really able to decompress and make the most of it. Our masseurs were extraordinary, true professionalism as we like it.
We thank you and highly recommend this spa.

We had booked 1h30 the private Jacuzzi: awful! to flee! Bubbles only on one side of the Jacuzzi and cold (35 °c maximum)! We booked for 1h30… We spent 15mn to find the operation, 15 mins to try to reach the reception then we went out. We asked for refund, however the hotel unloads on Balinese!

Great place to have a drink at night! It is quiet with a modern style and a "subdued" atmosphere, the staff is always very friendly and it is just a few minutes from the Halles, Châtelet and Louvre-Rivoli. To talk, it's ideal!

Beware! This hotel is awful and might scam you when it's too late! Please be careful as we had an awful experience. Hotel looked like trash. Elevator had broken glass on the screen, stuffing coming out the wall and floor was cracked. The hallways smelled awful and the bathroom smelled like sewer! We literally couldn't stay any longer and had to leave because we were concerned about our health breathing in these awful smells. DO NOT ORDER room service. We were greeted with a nasty employee that told us they aren't used to doing that. I'd eat at McDonald's over this place any day. When I explained everything to the manager he told me it was up to Expedia to refund me and it was out of his control. He lied to my face just to get me to leave because Expedia said they had to authorize the refund. I felt scammed and mislead. Awful hotel. If you want to have a nice time in Paris I would 1000% not recommend this place for the price is costs…

We booked this hotel online impressed by the location and guest reviews. The hotel describes itself as 4-star design hotel. When we got to the place and saw the lobby, corridors and the room we were very disappointed — it turned out to be an old and dirty hotel, that doesn’t even deserve 4 star rating. It looks nothing like a design hotel — on the contrary, the interior looks very cheap. The room was significantly worn-out and had a weird configuration with a long narrow corridor which accounted for much of room’s space. The sofa bed we additionally paid for was missing, but there was an old untidy chair instead of it — my daughter said she would never sleep on it. We went back to the reception and said we want to cancel our reservation, because the online hotel information was misleading and the place wasn’t worth the money. The receptionist and then the manager kept on insisting they will charge us for the whole 4-days stay even if we leave. They ended up charging us for the first night, despite that we left that place shortly. As of writing this review I’m still trying to recover the amount they charged me for the first night, but my repeated requests are being ignored by hotel’s management. My advice would be to stay away from this place — there are plenty of good hotels in Paris!

Central location, cut of the room somewhat unusual and. So that a lot of space is wasted, Wi-Fi is fast and reliable. Breakfast buffet opulent but not very varied. Staff and service friendly and competent.

A beautiful hotel, we had the chance to spend a night in the suite on the top floor with terrace… just splendid… the whirlpool tub + the large Italian shower.

Clean, amazing location and nice staff. The hotel had the perfect location, right by the Seine river and the Louvre. The staff was friendly and spoke English pretty well. The room was clean, albeit just a litter older, as I imagine most places in Paris would be.

Jacuzzi very dirty, the water was not changed before our arrival, no explanation for the use of the Hammam, Spa… and the change of temperature. To avoid.

I guess you would call this Chic, I call it funky, in a good way. Our room was spacious and interestingly decorated. The entire hotel is black and white (for the most part) the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I really liked the shower, the water pressure was the best on our trip to Europe. I like good water pressure. The best thing for us, was that it was walking distance from the Louvre. It was also very close to Notre Dame and the Seine River. I will stay here again when I get back to Paris.

Awesome location, one block from the Louvre and walking distance to many top attractions. Clean room, comfortable bed. Luxurious waterfall showerhead and big bathtub — — we loved staying here! Very friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommend.

Following my last stay at this hotel, I wanted to point out the inconveniences we have had for 3 nights past.
1 — The room smelled like a very strong sewer smell.
2 — the sheets have been changed, but with dirty sheets with a large yellow halo.
3 — the lock card was not working, so we had to ask to open with each move.
After complaint, the management did not want to make any commercial gesture, if only a reduction of 50 euros on an invoice of 620 euros! that I refused!

Ok so good points are, location next to the Louvre and walking distance from all of the attractions. Notre Dame 10 minutes, 40 mins to Arc de Triumphe and Eiffel Tower. We had a mini suite for us and two teenagers, worked Ok. Beds big and comfortable, mini bar and Krupp coffee maker. Breakfast interesting, get down early as whilst it's open to 10:30 weekdays nothing much left by 10! Staff very nice. If you want to eat go to the Latin quarter much cheaper than anywhere else, b…ut expect to pay 20€ for four coffees and about 15€ to 40€ per head per meal. Food is expensive. Downside no kettles in room so if you a Brit that means no Tea! If you use the sofa bed for the kids no where to sit in room. Limited seating downstairs. Beware pick pockets and scams, latest is asking you to pledge money for the deaf and dumb (clever as they pretend to not speak so language not a problem) they try to get you to fill a petition and ask you for cash! If going by Eurostar when you arrive at Garre de Nord DONT fall for the taxi trick with people offering a taxi straight away. They can charge you what they like, queue for a metered cab. About 12 € from station to hotel.

I had a wonderful experience staying at the l'empire. Amazing staff which is always there to support and to make your stay as enjoyable as only possible. From the lovely ladies cleaning the rooms, the people at the reception to their general manager they were all really good people. Thank you! Hopefully, I have the chance to come back soon.

The pack offering spa + meal is a big scam. The meal is an entry each and 2 macaroons for dessert and amounts to € 140… it's a scandal.

Couldn't have chosen a better place to stay in Paris. The location was perfect being a 5 minute walk to the Louvre and 10 minutes to Notre Dame. Less than 5 minutes to the Metro stations. The staff was extremely helpful, especially Sonja. That went above and beyond every day. Very comfortable king size bed and quiet hotel. There were no issues with noise. The free breakfast was great. Will come back in the future with no doubt.

Breakfast buffet is constantly empty and is only on demand refilled. Wellness costs each hour 60euro. Rooms so clean really all that hear. Beds comfortable.

Newer hotel with spacious, apartment like suites. Also a bar on premise that is drawing more locals.

Very nice hotel — unfortunately not good in customer service. I booked a room and had to cancel it. I cancelled more than 48 hours before the arrival date. When I did not get a confirmation I send my cancellation again. Now they say they did not get my cancellation and charged me with 524 €. I send copies of my emails and time lime to prove that I cancelled in time.
I cannot recommend the hotel anymore! I am traveling a lot and book hotels online and some times I have to cancel, but I never had a problem like that.

Terrible, dishonest staff. To our surprise, there was a Curfew for leaving the hotel after 12:00 am. We did not like the unsafe location. The room had no view and it was definitely not 4 star. We asked to cancel our reservation and they refused and told us that they would charge us for the next 3 days regardless. We found another 4 start hotel the same night and left early in the morning. Thanks to American Express for helping us getting out money back.

BRUNCH AT L'EMPIRE PARIS

The Empire Hotel Paris… This name can imagine a very pompous place and yet, point of unnecessary glitz in this particular hotel Paris. The decoration is very classy, but never flashy. A perfect place for Sunday brunch.
Brunch, served in the lounge bar very design decoration, offers a sweet buffet (pastries, buns, toast, fruit, melt chocolate… salads), a buffet salty (smoked salmon, assorted cold cuts, salads…) and a hot buffet (scrambled eggs, bacon, grilled ham or salmon, different hot dish from one week to the other…). Fresh pressed juices and hot drinks are also on the menu.
I appreciate not only the variety of the dishes, but especially the "human" dimension of the buffet and the room: we give in to greed in an intimate atmosphere.

We had reservation for one king size bed room. We read on the hotel's web site that we can add a bed for an additional person for $75 (for our son). When we checked in, they requested us to pay 120 euro for each day we stay. They told us we have to upgrade our room to get an extra bad. We tried to talk to a manager of the hotel (owner), but it was wasting of our time. He did care about money, not about customers. So, we have paid additional 600 euro for 5 night what was double price for the room. The room was very dusty. They brought a bed for our boy with used bedding on it. We asked to change it couple times! A botle of water 0, 33 in the mini bar will cost you 5 euro. Very terrible hotel. I would never recommend this hotel.

Good location and big rooms, but that's the only positive thing about it. It's pricey (we paid 460€ for 2 nights), breakfast is 2-3 star quality. Services are bad: no drink available at the bar when waiting for the cab because the bartender was gone!. First they put us in a room where the heating was broken. They were renovating part of the hotel and everything was dirty. Save yourself a bad experience and go somewhere else!

Our maid stole from our room. The hotel manager was disgustingly rude but nevertheless 'investigated'. Turns out the maid was walking through the lobby at the time I was complaining. She admitted to removing the items from the room but claimed it was because they were in the garbage bin! The manager at the desk, in his exact words, were "it's our word against yours, there is nothing we can do for you". I demanded a written statement which they provided and signed. Paid for a 'superior room', the first room they took us to appeared to be the boiler room in the basement — complete with dingy smell, noise, humidity, and very small. We were promptly taken to another room which was just a little better. Overall — do not stay here, and if you do, make sure you lock everything up, safe, luggage, everything. If you leave it out on the counters, in the bathroom, or on the floor, they will take it. (it's like magic! ) The location was the only great thing about this place.
