Staff were unbelievably helpful and the rooms are immaculate. The food is out of this world and never stops coming. The staff all speak enough English and are extremely friendly.

A great time to relax. A change of scenery is assured, especially in summer with the swimming pool. The meal was excellent. Recommend it.

Quiet place, a welcome pity that for a 4 star hotel we found black bathroom mold joints, dust in the small corners and on the bulbs and a NUX shower gel background for 2 people no more. Only one shower possible. For the restaurant very beautiful setting, taste very much pity that we waited an hour between the appetizer and the mouth. Did we have a bad room?

Fabulous! The place, the welcome, the SPA, the kitchen of the Japanese chef… everything is perfect.

The dinner was plentiful and excellent. Very nice wine and champagne menu. But waiting too long between the dishes 2:30 to the table…
And the breakfast is much too industrial (butter, yoghurt, jam, Nutella, fruit juice, dried fruit). It was sorely lacking in flavor… Damage!

I'm going twice and it's been great both times. On the same site, there is a private Spa, a very good hotel and a top gourmet restaurant. I could go back with my eyes closed.

This wonderful place deserves a stop for a few days, time to enjoy the setting that is offered to us. Culinary refinement and poetic gardens accompany us over time. Thanks again for the impeccable reception.

Despite the beautiful grounds, nice restaurant and tolerable room, the overall customer experience was disappointing thanks to rude, unhelpful and substandard service. Hotel staff were not willing to do so much as source a bottle-opener, until we insisted management be contacted. Why such a simple and polite request would require such drama and escalation is beyond my comprehension. For a purported 4 star hotel (with a built-in restaurant we had just spent hundreds of euros at) this is simply not good enough. Hopefully some staff training will follow, but in the meantime we regret ever having set foot in Chateau de Courban.

Beautiful castle, everything is splendid. Very nice and relaxing stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it!

During a romantic weekend, we were able to enjoy the welcome of all the teams (reception, spa, restaurant). This place is decorated with sincerity, especially the Chamber of the Pigeon House that we occupied. The gourmet dinner is based on local and seasonal products, it was a real treat, the calf of the dawn was fondant and succulent, the fresh truffle accompanied some dishes was a good surprise.

Shame. Yes the photo of an empty box of tissues might have rights. Owned by LIDL. This is where they do their supplies. Enjoy your meal at the restaurant, not at lidl prices.

Very comfortable, well-run hotel with excellent staff, lovely bedrooms and a super restaurant with a great wine list. Nice location in a delightful village in Chablis but in large grounds with great views. Highly recommended and great value out of season. More expensive in the summer.

Beautiful place, amazing and succulent gourmet.

We visit the hotel in Courban twice and we have dinner. Each time we waited an hour before the boy was coming to take the order. The service carried out by apprentices is slow, and completely incompetent. The correct kitchen, but industrial bread, and prices far too high for a small country restaurant.
The hotel located in Gold Coast and no Champagne unlike the dishonest advertising that speaks "one Castle in Champagne" is a simple middle-class House decorated by its owner decorator as a castle with "fake paintings of family" etc. And away from it all. Managers are pretentious and even ask guests who took a series of pay for each extra. (Hamam etc) They greet you with a Hello messieursdames wish you a good appetite, and they send you an "at pleasure"!
When we're looking for authenticity and a suitable service then look elsewhere.
