Small apartments close to the train station, a little gloomy. You sleep properly, it's pretty much clean, but it should be refreshed. A few traces in the shower, the hot water balloon placed above the toilet, is a little threatening. The reception was very friendly, however.

I'm sure there are some very decent small hotels for the same price in the neighborhood.

Not a bad choice. Modern rooms but no air conditioning, witch is a bit harsh in summer. Location is a bit outside of the centre but a nice walk along the water will get you there in 45 minutes. Parking is not included but available.

Cheap but not cheerful. No aircon. Had a fan but didn't help very much. Bathroom was small and had an exposed water tank which wasn't pretty. Was clean though. Alright if you're just looking for somewhere to lay your head, but wouldn't be spending much time there if I could help it.

Our room was super hot, too hot for a decent sleep. Everything was old but clean.

Clean room & cheap. Good location & nice/helpful staff. Room was ok but very very noisy at night. No air conditioning meant sleeping with the window open but the streets were very noisy.

Stayed in a two-room family room. In the room there is a stove on which was possible to cook, pots, forks, spoons all was. The hotel is located in a convenient location. Grocery stores, pharmacies within walking distance. Also near the market, where you can eat seafood and buy a lot of goodies. Breakfast.

A welcome more than average… Opening times for the reception reduced to the strict necessary. Noisy and fragrant rooms. Not to mention the breakfast that is not served before 7:30. In short: can do better…

A 10-minute walk from St Jean station.
Attention Breakfast is only possible from 7.30 am, early risers will have to do without.

In summary: Medium.
The hallways are depressing. Luckily the inside of the room is friendly.
The receptionist is friendly. Attention: The rooms side streets are far too noisy.

I had booked a room but I did not stay there as the parking of the hotel was closed when I arrived (while on the site it was mentioned parking without reservation), impossible to find a place, d elsewhere it was better like that because very bad neighborhood F Improve. I do not recommend.

My credit card wasn't working. I called the receptionist and told her I would pay in cash she told me no problem but I should be there before 8:00 pm as the reception closed at 20:00. My train was late and I was going to get to 20h10. I called the receptionist who told me she was sorry and couldn't wait. After exchanging two words she waited for me. Nice home really clean. Nickel bedding There we really feel at home. I would recommend this place. I in any case I will return without fail.

Nothing exceptional but clean and comfortable. Spacious apartment. Comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen. I arrived late at night and the keeper was gone. But I called the phone number indicated on the door and a very nice lady guided me very well so I could find my keys and my room.

Comfortable but poorly soundproofed windows via air inlet at the roller shutter level…

Second experience of the places very disappointing.

Hotel having an overpriced star. Does not offer the services of a 3 star.
Avoid the rooms next to the road, too much noise. The double glazing must be of poor quality.
The hotel in front is significantly superior in all areas for €5 more nights.
The staff is not very attentive to the remarks, in short I would never put my feet home again.

The apartment is fine and the mini kitchen well equipped. Also to go to the city is well connected, you can walk or by public transport.
What I liked the least was the attention of the receptionist, the suitcases do not label them when kept and seem generally very suspicious. We wanted to park for one night and they tried to charge us two until we repeated it several times.

Room very decent for a person and clean. Attention no air conditioning and pipe noise. The staff of the average hotel, I stumbled upon a person on my arrival who indicated that my room would be available around 3.30 pm/4pm, when it was marked for 14h, and that it did guarantee the safety of my bag if I did not return before 6pm… I came back to 1 7:20 and the room where my open bag was deposited…

Positive Points: Clean and spacious room. Nice welcome.
Negative Points: View from the room very ugly. Breakfast.

Location: city centre, station, night club, the water mirror.
Staff very welcoming, attentive, helpful and has the smile.
Very clean, very nice for a four people.
Quiet.
To recommend this, especially for young people!

The whole Wi-Fi thing is really outdated from the past reviews. I'm staying on the 5th floor and have no complaints at all. No breakfast is included which kind of sucks. But other than that it's fine.

The price is too high in terms of benefits, where the 4 stars.

I'm currently stuck in a contract here for several months. To prevent anyone else making the same mistake, here's my experience so far. The rooms are basic and the furnishing is nearly non-existent except a bed (though bedding is a paid extra and is basic! ). The kitchen is simple and has mostly what you need (though cutlery is a paid extra and that only consists of the minimum number they can give you — in my case, 1 pan, 1 plate, 1 fork, etc.! ). Now the killer for me, the Internet connection is Wi-Fi (paid extra! ) and it's shockingly bad. Do you remember 56k? Well even that was better than this. If you require Internet on your stay, DO NOT STAY HERE. It's unworkable — I frequently stay late at work to use the connection there! Now, even if you pay for extras like bedding, there is no room service (maybe it's a paid extra) so undoubtedly you will have to use the washing machine. This costs €3 but there is only 1 for the whole building. The bathroom leaves much to be desired, while it has all that is needed, for some utterly stupid reason the boiler is located right above the toilet and as someone who is rather tall (it seems), this has caused a number of head injuries so far. Secondly, shower is quite efficient at flooding the bathroom leaving you with a pool of stagnant water for the remainder of the day.

I booked this simply because it was one of the cheapest hotels I could find in Bordeaux. It also appealed when I booked because it seemed equidistant between the town centre and the train station, and I was planning to take the train twice so I thought that'd be useful. Frankly, the fact the train station is not too far away is the only positive thing about this place. I literally find no other benefits to staying here. It was a (disappointing) shock to find that, when I arrived, our room had not yet been made up and was in a state of chaos and mess left behind by the previous occupant. I immediately returned to the reception (which, by the way, is open only for a limited amount of time during the day, meaning that if there's a problem in the evening or at night, there's nothing you can do about it) to ask for an explanation, but instead of an apology I received merely a shrug and a reply stating the obvious that the cleaner would get round to doing it. When I found the cleaner of the floor I was staying on, I specifically requested 3 towels and 3 pillows as there were 3 of us staying there, and yet when I returned later that day, the cleaner had completely forgotten this and, with no staff on the premises in the evening, this couldn't be resolved. I was also surprised to find the room had not been cleaned again by the second night.
