The Restaurant El Jardín, unbeatable its dishes, To begin with we ordered escargots, Right on point; I ordered a seafood Rissoto, very well executed. We took a couple of bottles we were charged the corkage, great 👍🏻
Everything was excellent, the parking lot on the side of the river, you stamp and they open you. For sure we will be back very soon!

My family and I stayed at Hotel Victoria and had a magnificent experience. The staff was so warm and friendly that I feel like we made new friends. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel was located in a good area, accessible to quite a few attractions. I always looked forward to eating at the restaurant weather it was for Breakfast, Dinner or cocktail hour, it never disappointed.

It's a great place, beautiful, fantastic service. Wonderful people that make you feel welcome and at peace.

Beautiful Hotel, great location we stayed 10 days with my family of 4, the breakfast is so yummy with authentic fruits of the region and a variety of breads, it has a gorgeous garden where you can enjoy coffee with friends, also the decoration is very traditional and the rooms feel like you’re staying at your grandmas, but what makes this hotel special is the attention and how amicable and nice their staff is. While you stay at this hotel don’t forget to visit the restaurant where food is amazing but the service is superb. Thanks for such a great stay.

A very nice place, not only for the people who attend there, but for the architecture of the hotel. The location is privileged, the price ratio — quality is very well balanced. I recommend, when you make your plans for travel to Cuenca — Ecuador, take this hotel, you will not regret.

Very good location and the restaurant is good, both in product and in facilities and service. My room had the bedroom and a small room as well as a fairly spacious terrace with very good views of the gardens. Unfortunately, the sound insulation was null and the music of the restaurant did not let me sleep until the performance ended on the holiday, the other days there was no problem because there were no musical performances.

Great view, great location. Room was noisy, three metres from reception and lift right next to bed. Bathroom was tiny. Breakfast was fruit and eggs with little choice, but restaurant was beautiful. Breakfast start time on the weekend was 7 which caught us short for travelling. One morning the door bell was ringing at 5:30 with no-one answering, so it just kept ringing for half an hour.

Awesome, old glam place. Very clean and friendly. Sounds like a dining room above me and bed is only so-so comfortable… bye I works still stay here again!

Central, old and quaint hotel with great views of the park and river. We had a lovely terrace. Be careful as it is near a busy Rd and night club.

I did not stay at the hotel however I did eat at the restaurant. Service was splendid. Plenty of staff. Incredible view. Food was some of the best I had while in Cuenca. If you are in the area — you should eat here and have a glass of wine. Everything was very fresh as well.

Beautiful old quirky hotel with wonderfully helpful staff. Get a room on the side that looks out over the river rather than the street side — a couple of them have small terraces too, which is nice. You may, however, be awoken by the early-morning callisthenics in the park over the river which involve thumping music. Food in the restaurant is excellent. Hotel is within easy level walking distance of the historic centre, including the wonderful Mercado de 10 agosto. Also, you can walk along the river in the opposite direction to the Museo Pumapungo, well worth a visit.

This was a great hotel to stay in for a week. We had a nice room with a patio deck overlooking the river below. The room came with a complimentary breakfast which was very good. Staff were very friendly. Very close to the historic town with lots of photo opportunities.

Beautiful old hotel with lots of beautiful antiques. Fabulous restaurant. We ate most of our meals here. Breakfast included each am. They went out of their way to please us. Very tasty. Staff were all very nice. Would definitely come back. Outside noise was not good for early morning. It was near a park. So not sure why so early they had to play music.

Rooms and style ok, but a lot off noise from the streets in the evening and night. Complains to the reception about the noise, the only thing they had was ear plugs. Still a lot off noise. We had to accept maybe till 2 in the night or later. The noise problem from the streets became a guest problem. Not acceptable. We lost a day off traveling/ vacation because off sleeping problems because off the loud music and sounds from the street. It was horrible. When you want a good night off sleep, think twice.

Stayed here in early Nov'16 with my sons. Got the big suite with the Eva Paron balcony. Very lovely place and great staff. The bar is cool. I would go back in a heatbeat!

Dining room was elegantly appointed. Quality of dishes served was fair to good. Service was excellent, European style.

Best hotel in Cuenca. Centrally located to everything. River right in the back at noght you can hear her. Best resturant "El Jardin".

Close to the Centre, English speaking staff, good breakfast room 307 the best! And I'm the Mayor :-) ).
