You could not find a friendlier staff than at Finch Bay. Everyone goes out of their way to provide you with a wonderful experience. We really enjoyed our time here and the fantastic people we have met. The food was amazing. Chef Jose creates beautiful dishes that taste as good as they look. The pastry chef delivered delicious desserts. The property is very clean and comfortable.

We absolutely loved Finch Bay Hotel. The location is lovely and the staff is the friendliest. Grace and the rest of the staff really made us feel special on Valentine’s Day. Highly recommend it and hope to return.

This Eco Hotel uses its own solar energy and no plastic! The best amenity is your unique reusable water bottle which is also a great souvenir. Pool side happy hour and dining with local birds coming to visit and it’s own private beach and yachts. Food is wonderful so you don’t have to venture elsewhere if you don’t want to. Everything is beautiful and luxurious without excessive opulence or waste. It is the best Galapagos experience especially for kids and older adults that require a great place to relax after the incredible sightseeing. It is worth the investment for a lifetime of memories.

An amazing hotel — like its sister Mashpi Lodge. So secluded there are no roads and accessible only by boat and a 10 minute walk along a coastal path. Fantastic building, top quality food, pool, beach etc. — only downside it appears to be frequented mostly by Americans.

We ate dinner here twice on our trip as we didn’t manage to stay at the hotel and it was BRILLIANT. The chap who looked after us for dinner both night was top class, highly recommend this for dinner we only wish we’d managed to stay at the hotel!

Wonderful location with access to the beach and delightful gardens. Complimentary boat taxi to main town. Spacious, modern rooms beautifully appointed. Excellent service from every member of staff. Delicious, well presented food with an emphasis on flavour. Chef came out to see how we were and to ask if we'd enjoyed the food. We had a wonderful time and can't wait for our next visit. I would highly recommend this hotel.

A “must-stay” if you’re doing a land based Galapagos trip! Amazing service, beautiful atmosphere, incredible meals, and all of the excursions were completely unforgettable. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel special — I’ll always have a place in my heart for Cesar and Renato!

There are not enough words to describe this absolutely wonderful, small hotel in the Galapagos which has awards from National Geographic! Amazing cuisine! Amazing rooms and staff. Pristine ecological paradise. The sky is filled with stars like you have seen before, so close that you can almost touch them. So quiet, so peaceful, so wondrous. Find yourself here.

Expensive but worth every dollar.

Super slow service, expensive and underwhelming drinks. There's not even much of a view.

The hotel is far from the islands main attractions and thus require a 45 min drive each way to get anywhere. Rooms are tiny with limited space. Shower and bathroom is uncomfortable to use. The beach in front of the hotel is crowded by many locals with limited space for any of the hotel guests. (Suies are slightly better, but not much. ) Drinks and food is amazing. That was the one redeeming quality.

Wonderful service. Beautiful hotel with excellent service aboard their yacht the Sea Lion. Fun taking the panga from Puerto Ayora to the jetty where the hotel is a short walk away. Hotel will loan you snorkeling equipment where you might see Ray's and sharks. Take 10 mins and walk to Las Grietas for a swim.

Exceptional service and a beautiful location. The pool is located right on the beach, so you have the best of both worlds. Staff are all professional, friendly, and helpful, offering great suggestions. The dining here is amazing — gourmet, beautifully presented, and delicious. Tours/excursions are incredible, providing you with an immersive experience into the beauty of this area. This is a beautiful location offering easy access to all of the wonder present in the Galapagos.

Just went for lunch at the restaurant. The view is nice, service ok but food is nothing special and overpriced. I had the sesame tuna which was not high quality. There are much better options in other restaurants in Santa Cruz.

Beautiful hotel with very nice staff and great breakfast. Free Wi-Fi air conditioned rooms and short free boat ride to Puerto Ayora.

I can't fault this place at all. Everything is as you would expect from a 5 star hotel, but the location makes it something special. Only accessed by a short dinghy ride only adds to it's charm. Snorkeling off the beach we encountered turtles, rays, pelicans, herons, boobies, and an abundance of reef fish; almost as lively as the wildlife we saw on our boat tour around the Galapagos prior to coming here. Excellent.

I don't know where to start. This was by far the most special vacation my wife and I have shared. The focus on guest satisfaction is apparent every moment you are on the property. Jose, in the restaurant is the most gracious and competent attendant we have ever enjoyed at any resort. The food was creative and very well presented. The guides are funny and professional. Great excursions available. Take advantage of as many as you can. Even the boat has good food! It is easy to get into and out of town. I want to go back. Very soon. Our week here was one of the best of our lives. Ultimately relaxing.

The best. We stayed 4 nights after our 8 day cruise for our honeymoon. It was amazing. Everyone is so pleasant. The pool is beautiful and you have an entrance to the beach from the pool area. Jose was our waiter for our stay and he's made our stay even better with his warm caring personality. Manuel was our bartender. Great drinks and he was very nice! The whole staff is great. Thank you finch bay! Xoxoox I'm actually writing this on our last day here : (. So sad to leave but enjoying every second.

We had an ocean view suite and liked everything about the hotel. Clean, good food, impeccable service. The pool was equipped with alot of options for sitting in either the sun or the shade and provided unlimited towels. Beautiful setting on a nice swimming beach. They even provided us with a free water taxi ride to and from the hotel.

This place was amazing. Stay here if you can afford it and if you are okay with taking a water taxi (they have a free one specifically for the Finch Bay). I do wish the pool had been heated, but other than that — no complaints!

One of my best experiences, the quality of the food, service and personal it is simply spectacular, no doubt one of the best hotels in Galapagos, beautiful experience, I have spent several times in the hotel, I hope to return soon…

You have to have reasonable expectations in Ecuador. Once you've calibrated your expectations, honestly I can't think of a better place than this and I'm a hotel snob. Why? The food is insane, the ambience is lovely and romantic and gentle and sweet. The people, the service. They put money in all the right places. The little walkway from the pier here annoys some people but they don't get it. It's secluded. The walk is very charming with little lights and trees overhanging, super quaint. The rooms are spartan and simple but who needs opulent rooms when you're here, a place that beckons you to come OUTSIDE. I've been to 5 star hotels all over the world and would put the experience here up against any of them. It's just a legit place that fits the ideals of the Galápagos Islands and charms you. It's not contrived, it's not forced, it's not half assed, it is just right. Love it.

Excellent as always! Our stay in April was awesome, the weather is very nice, the best thing that we spent with my wife was the daily tour to Bartolome, observe the penguins and snorkel us charm.

Nice secluded location but tricky access and removed from town although a water taxi in is only 60c back in. Food is a high standard but room rate is up there for the value.
