We (family of 2 adults, 2 kids, 7 and 8) had a wonderful stay at Angermeyer hotel in May 2019. The staff was courteous, hotel was beautiful, room very spacious (we stayed in the mockingbird), and the location was perfect for us. We would definitely stay again!

I cannot recommend the Angermeyer Waterfront Inn highly enough. The staff were so friendly on arrival and very professional, it has a very relaxed atmosphere and does not feel pretentious. The food is excellent and the waiting service has a lovely feel. The breakfast buffet is a fantastic array of different foods from the usual eggs, toast and fruit which we have been given in other more expensive hotels. The rooms are extremely clean and have a lovely feel with some fantastic views. If you can’t stay here, come here for dinner and enjoy all the animals that come up to the waterfront!

Beautiful historic setting for lunch, dinner, or just an evening cocktail. Great service. Good ambience. Occasional salsa dancing on weekends nights.

Take a water taxi to Playa Las de Alemanes ($1 US). The restaurant is beside where the water taxi stops. You can swim in from of the restaurant. They have a freshwater shower. Good selection of food and drinks. Has fantastic views. Staff are happy and friendly.

Excellent hotel, all the attention is first level, its employees very efficient.

I knew its restaurant, very good food and excellent location, I recommend the bisque of shrimp and prawn of Galapagos.

Wonderful waterfront hotel in Santa Cruz. Right on the water. Short warwe taxi ride from Port. Rooms are very spacious, clean with air conditioning. All the rooms have a safe. Food is excellent. Highly recommend.

Very nice hotel. We had a great view of the water from our room. The accommodations are very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was very good. Always a selection of fruit, juices, hot cooked foods (fish, chicken, or beef, pancakes/french toast, eggs to order), toast, yogurt and granola, fresh cheeses and meats, and two selections of juice. We ate dinner there twice. Food is well prepared, but definitely more expensive than a lot of place in town. To get to and from the hotel, you need to take a water taxi. It is very cheap, but takes a little more time than staying in town. From the hotel, you can walk to the "German beach" and inland to the "crack" and salt mines. I would stay there again!

Great location on the waterfront, easy to access from the town centre on a small boat. Staff were lovely, really friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and have nice modern facilities, designed in a relaxed, beautiful minimalist style. The owner could not have been more helpful: when our agent got plane timings wrong, and we needed to stay an extra night, they immediately were able to accommodate us. Views over the bay are lovely from their restaurant. Santa Cruz town is lively with some great restaurants and a funky fish markets where pelicans and seals share the fisherman's spoils.

Gorgeous view of the water. Restaurant area is charmingly lit at night. Bright open rooms. Fabulous view from the roof terrace. Frequented by marine lizards and Darwin Finches.

Nice setting on the water front of Puerto Ayora without the town hassle just a Taxi boat away from the center of the town.

Good drinks, great view, food was ok. The staff were very good. A great place to relax and enjoy a few cocktails by the water.

Was expecting the best meal on the island based on previous posts. Was pretty disappointed. When the staff hands you a bottle of bug repellent with the menu, you are off to an auspicious start. When we asked about wine, we had to get two other waiters that could speak English. One had to bring a phone so that we had enough light to read the menu. They were out of many of the dishes on the menu and suggested we order the special. $94 dollars later we left and vowed to never return. The most expensive and disappointing meal of the entire trip. There is an entire street in Puerto Ayora that has wonderful restaurants serving food on tables in the street that has been closed in the evening. The feeling is lively, festive and the value is exceptional. We ate at several restaurants with consistent results. Easily the best value, selection and wonderful service in Puerto Ayora.
