The experience is quite pleasant; the Hosteria is located in a strategic point of Puerto López for example reaching the beach of the friars is about 12 km away. The facilities are cabins which makes them quite bio safe, you have a private bathroom; hot water and thermal blankets that for the early morning shelter quite well. The pool is located in a strategic place and has an unparalleled view because it overlooks the Pacific Ocean and you can appreciate the fishing village; On a covered terrace it has a restaurant with a sample of the haute cuisine of the sector (perhaps making the menu digital would give an added value) ;
It has a platform that facilitates the entry and by which you can review the consumptions giving as an option a payment button which facilitates the check out.
Excellent! the hot bread at breakfast is one of the strong aspects to emphasize added to the hospitality of the hosts.

Although the town is not so developed, the Inn is a place where you can spend the whole day. The deal and the food are excellent.

We had a lovely stay here. It is beautiful looking over Puerto López to the sea, particularly when the lights cone on in the evening. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and have everything you need. Breakfast was very good with delicious bread, as you'd expect from a German-run hotel. I'd love to go back and spend longer there next time.

It was absolutely delightful. It's setting is really special. The German owners very committed to your having a pleasant stay. We enjoyed two fantastic meals there. It's spotless clean. It was really very nice to be there.

I have stayed here many times, LOVED it each time. The owners are always very accommodating, food is amazing, and the view is priceless.

Okayish place to stay: clean room and friendly staff. BUT: when we decided to stay longer they wanted to make use out of our situation and wanted to charge 50 % more.

It's Nice hotel and comfortable but the girl welcome an individual despot and anything nice around you responds and does not have its own initiative, gives a lot to be desired it is a pity because so I did not return.!

We stayed here for a family vacation. We easily booked our trip to Isla De La Plata from the front desk and a tour guide met us in the lobby the next morning to take us out. We chose this place because it has a full kitchen and a restaurant knowing we wouldn't have much time to look around for food on a busy agenda with kids. The rooms were big, the bunk beds in our room were exciting for the kids and we had an ocean view. Staff was great, food was good, salsa night turned the restaurant into a local club which was exciting. They have a large entertaining area upstairs with a pool table and bar for large groups or family events. This place has been here for many years, it's a well established hotel, but I agree that the cleanliness could be improved, that's why I did not award 5 stars. The sheets were stained and thread-bare. I know, it's Ecuador, but I still have a minimum expectation when traveling with kids. Thankfully, we travel with our "Friendly Swede Sleeping Bag Liners" so its not a deal breaker anywhere we go.

Missing services and care that justify the price.

Stopped in Porta Lopez for lunch with our driver Juan. Service was attentive and the food and drinks delicious. My wife is allergic to dairy and like almost everywhere in Ecuador, they made sure that it was not a problem. This is a great place to stop and relax. Prices are reasonable.

The best part was the view from the pool. The food was decent, it could be better.
