Abel and his team are amazing. La Jungla is the last on the strip — so you really feel like you’re living on the beach. An amazing retreat.
➜ Located in the furthest place from the centre along the beach, the jungle, surrounded by mangroves and greenery, a few meters from the sea. We had a quadruple room with sea view very comfortable it had air conditioning. The staff at the hostel is super friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast is optional, with a cost of $ 6. Our stay was perfect. The only Point that can be negative is the poor internet connection, but that is something of Isabela island.

If you want to be close to be close to the natural wonders of the Galapagos Islands but still within easy walking distance to the restaurants, tour companies and the transportation hub in town, La Jungla is a great place to stay. It is not fancy but it is clean and the service is very good. The manager, Abel and his staff are friendly and helpful. There is a good, clean shared kitchen with stove and fridge for economical food preparation. The location on a beautiful beach could not be nicer and it is at the beginning of the bike/hiking trail into the Galapagos National Park and the infamous Wall of Tears. We easily encountered giant tortises in their natural habitat along this trail. I recommend this place for its setting and location and as an economical choice for clean and safe lodging.
