I love the atmosphere and the restaurant.

Do not go by the photos on some websites. Very misleading. You don't get what you think you are paying your money for in both quality and space. Trip hazards everywhere. Dangerous main stairs. We were told there was no lift either. Some of the staff were lovely but we also received one of the worst ever customer servises experiences of our lives following our very upsetting experience of staying there. Breakfast was lovely.

Be careful of the room you are paying for. For the payment for a family room hotel gave us a triple room and first blatantly declined that this could be offered saying we show lots of pictures of the room but they are not necessarily what we will give you. Terrible customer service. No fridge and very uncomfortable bed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are a lot more better hotels in Billund you can stay for the same price.

The dishes tasted great and beautifully presented.

Fantastic food! Potato and leek soup with crispy chilli is an excellent starter and the schnitzel with sautéed potatoes was delicious. Best of all was the 4 pages of craft beers that I attacked with gusto.

A lovely setting, dishes are beautifully presented but on every visit we've had incredibly long waits for service, even when the restaurant is not very busy. After being seated, we waited around half an hour for our drinks order to be taken and staff were remarkably absent and/or disinterested for most of the evening. The creme brulee was a big disappointment — there was no 'crack' on the sugar topping and underneath, just a soupy custard. The lemon tart was very sour and the pastry undercooked. For the prices being charged, I would expect a much higher level of service and standard of dishes. A shame there is no real competition in town for this style of dining as this could be the reason behind the Refborg's apathy.

We visited this restaurant on a recommendation from our taxi driver. We were seated even though we hadn’t made reservations. The manager and wait staff were very gracious. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We tried 4 different main dishes, shared and were very pleased with our choices. We are going back for one more meal before we depart for the rest of our journey.

We arrived as the kitchen was closing so we got lucky! Very quiet atmosphere and good food. Good beer selection. Keep in mind everything is expensive and most restaurants' kitchens close at 9 pm.

The service was great! I just attended an event, so cant say much about anything else.

I had dinner there a few weeks ago… the food was excellent! Very accurately cooked and presented. Extensive danish beer selection available. The staff is nice and welcoming and the place is neat and stylish.

Very good attention. I liked it a lot.
