Really great location if you want to walk and see the buildings. The hotel as really friendly and helpful staff and is kept very clean the rooms are very well sized for you're comfort will definitely come back.

Very convenient location, quiet enough for the centre of Prague. Not far from the embankment, between Karlov and the Legia Bridge. Near the tram stop. Opposite Petrshin hill. 10 minutes to St. Witt. In cafes prices are a little cheaper than in the center.
Good breakfast. There is a patio where you can drink coffee and smoke. The room itself is comfortable. Very spacious. Recommend.

ANIMAL CRUELTY IN THE LOBBY
I couldn't believe my eyes as I entered the hotel lobby and saw a little shark in a tiny aquarium, that had to swim in small circles the whole time to be able to breathe. That's ANIMAL CRUELTY! Sharks don't belong in tiny aquariums in hotel lobbys, they belong in the ocean! When I asked, they told me, that the shark has been there for three years. Just imagine: Three long years swimming in circles, all by himself. It's horrible how animals are treated in this hotel. I do NOT recommend to anyone staying there and supporting this cruel behaviour.
If any staff member is reading this: I'm willing to change my rating of your hotel if you'd commit to an animal friendly policy. It's 2018, you can just put up a huge television and show footage of sharks in their natural habitat.

This is a good, centrally located 3 star hotel. Reminiscent of La Quinta Inn. Nice people, spacious lobby and a patio, Spanish-California style, tile floors. Located very close to the Charles Bridge, on a nice street with cafes. Not a bad choice.

Front desk staff were generally friendly and all spoke great English. Some staff were much more helpful than others and the bar staff seemed to go walk about during the day. The porter was amazing. Breakfast was great; not all foods were available every day, eg some days no scrambled egg and others no croissant, but plenty of other breads. Great selection of cereal.

Hotel in a quiet and central area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is worth mentioning the cleanliness and the spaciousness of the rooms. Very well acclimatized. The price was very cheap in exchange for everything offered. I will definitely recommend it.

The location is great. The old town and the Carlsbrücke + castles are within walking distance. There is also a cable car to the lookout tower. There are also many restaurants and shopping possibilities available. You have a mini fridge with drinks but you have to pay for it, although it was not mentioned!
Unfortunately, the hotel stands out, not by friendly staff, comfortable beds, good facilities of the room (eg. No soap available). Furthermore, it is not possible to sleep well as this hotel is totally noisy. In addition, a breakfast buffet offers more choice in a 4 star hotel. The juice tastes like syrup and there is instant coffee. One was not sufficiently informed and with every question one had the feeling that one disturbs. In the lobby, a shark is held in a much too small aquarium and the prices at the lobby bar are bad. When you check out, you won't even be asked if you like it. Or whether there are any comments, let alone a friendly farewell.
All in one we recommend the hotel for a short break. But no way for a long-term holiday. We think it's a pity we can't give more stars. Because we were expecting a 4-star hotel much more.

Let's start with the small flaws; The bathtub water unfortunately runs very slowly, which could not create a beautiful bubbles with our specially purchased bubble bath.
But the rest makes up for it. Great location, hot breakfast (unfortunately without nut-nougat-cream of our trust) hot food options in the area, awesome connection. Awesome Geile Geil We demand: higher water pressure and Nutella.

Great value hotel, around 10 minutes walk to the city centre. Staff are friendly and always available at the 24 hour reception desk. The first night, we had issues with the cleanliness of the room, finding hairs in the bed. This was sorted quickly once the manager was informed.

Nice hotel, perfect location. Not the best breakfast though. But you can find very nice Restaurants and bars nearby.

Great price/performance rate. Wonderful place to stay with a great bar and cafe. The prices are reasonable. The breakfast is great just like 5 stars hotels'. The location is also good, we walked everywhere. I highly recommend to everyone.

Disgusting and totally filthy room. We checked into Hotel Roma room 303 on 27/12/17, put our bags in the room and off out we went. After a lovely evening in Prague we came back to hotel Roma to put our daughter to bed. When we pulled back the covers I was in complete shock, piss stains and blood stains all over the white sheets, I have never seen anything like this in a hotel before. I immediately called the reception and told them, they said they would send someone up straight away. 5 minuets and there was a knock at the door, I was greeted by an older gentleman who tried to give me new sheets, like he was expecting me to put these on the bed myself. I said no, you can do it, and you could see he was annoyed as he had to do this. After he left we soon realised how dirty the room was, especially the parquet flooring.
I’m leaving this review for the hotel to sort the issues out with the cleaning. Totally unacceptable.

We had a large family suite that consisted of two gtrennte rooms. It was very clean and well maintained. Highly recommended for families with children. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

It was a very nice hotel. Equipment more than correct. Location a little bit exentry but very easy to access since a 15 minute walk to the historic center, or just a few tram stops. Try not to have a room in front if you want to avoid the noise (moderate) of the trams.

Well located hotel, clean rooms good and staff attentive and helpful. But if you don't want to sleep, this hotel is ideal. The rooms are rumorosissime to absurd levels — you can hear everything, everything means everything… —. Too bad, but I don't return…

Great facility. We had a great room with an ingress and a big bathroom. Almost an apartment. Bathroom equipped with everything you need including the bidet. Clean room. The hotel has a large atrium with sofas and bars. Full breakfast and more than enough. The connections to the center are great with tram 9 in the immediate vicinity. Only downside our rooms overlook the street and you could hear the noise and vibration of the tram.

Great location but the rooms are noisy, you hear everything. Also they gave us an attic room and in the bathroom barely stood. Breakfast is acceptable but the lobby bar was pretty much empty, they had just 2/3 bottles of bitters. For a four star at the requested price you expect a lot more.

We traveled during the December time and we got a good deal. The costs almost doubles during summers. This hotel is well located near to the city.

Strategic location for the view of the city, in a lively and trendy neighborhood but without tourist confusion. Located at the foot of a beautiful hill to park from which you see a beautiful view. Nice hotel, clean, with all the accessories from the hairdryer to the bubble bath, creams Wi-Fi safe in the room sockets Schuko (German) but that are good to recharge the smartphones. Not noisy, spacious rooms, equipped with air conditioning and a nice bathroom in the room with bidet. Good value for money.

Close to city centre parking possibilities are good Breakfast european standard service great.

Unreliable Hotel — UNZUVERLAESSIG
A month ago I booked a room with a double bed. On my arrival G. 11maggio I was given a room in the Attic 5 floor that would not go well even in a pension for dwarves. As soon as I was at reception I had to pay in advance the three nights so I could not leave the hotel. The justification: the hotel was full. After my particular refusal I have assigned a room to 2 beds well away from the standard highlighted by booking of a 4 star. The kindness and the Italian language almost non-existent. Almost all Immusoniti. The WF connection in the room nothing too weak. Housekeeping OK.

Clean and well kept hotel. A bit of extra friendliness on the part of all employees (except the Italian girl at the reception) probably would have been more well liked.
A bit far from the center maybe. But can be reached by tram in only 4 minutes.
Breakfast Pay any kind of extras.

From the moment I booked the room until the day I departed, everyone I encountered who worked at the Hotel Roma was polite and helpful. The day and night reception staff were able to assist me from directing me to the old town by walking to getting me a seat on a bus to Vienna, when I had missed my original journey. The rooms are large, clean and regularly replenished from towels to the mini bar (also a decent price for its contents). The morning breakfast was a selection of breads, cereals and pastries, complimented with a vast array of preserves and cheeses. You could consume as much as you like within the four walls of the lounge, where the staff refill the lowering levels throughout the 7-10am time slot. They also have 2 coffee machines, which helps ease the strain in busy periods of service. Check-in is at 2pm, however late check-in can be arranged by email (check website) or by phone. Check out time is at midday, which is excellent if you have had a late night previously. They also offer a free luggage storage area whilst you await your taxi to your next destination. Definitely stay here again in the future.

Very comfortable hotel very well located.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. No stand-up showers and dialup-speed internet, as well as extremely noisy neighbors made the room very uncomfortable. Decided to cancel my 5 day reservation through expedia, gave them 24 hours notice that I would be checking out early but they refused to refund the balance (they charge you at checkin, not at checkout! ) Moreover, they added a shady 'currency exchange' fee ($30) to the bill without asking if I needed it (I don't, my credit card doesn't have international transaction fees). Would not recommend this place, there are much nicer hotels in Prague.

Very nice hotel in a good location. You'll have everything you need here. The breakfast is served as a basic but adequate buffet. Rooms are clean, but the only downside at least in our room was the stale smell of cigarettes.

Central location, near the stop of tram, Wi-Fi works throughout the hotel including rooms, breakfast, strong, clean and quiet.

Everything is fine, personal, rooms, food… but basically there is no internet! This hotel is not business friendly. Summer 2015: we had booked at least 10 rooms (Slovakian / British guys). I left our partners for 20 mins because I downloaded 2MGs (! ) presentation. Using internet (online) for presentation was absolutelly not possible. February 2016 — I'm writting this message (my very first) last 1 hr (it is midnight). I was in lot of hotels, but you have really problem to find hotel with similar internet… this is really brutal (is it dial-up? ). Responding to emails (stupid RDP) means waiting for 15 mins/per email. It is fine, my selerry depends on hrs, but it is extremlly anoing and it is just emailing… Be carefull to use this hotel for your business.

Good hotel. Close to many attractions. Everything was good. I would give 3 stars because I faced a few issues regarding the shower in the room. Also there were no lights in the corridor.

Very large rooms, nice food, service was good, was good, nearby transport. In the city center. Not far away from the Carl Bridge.

The hotel is in a great location to get to the historic centre on foot. Spotless, the room we were allocated was practically a mini apartment, breakfast more than generous, helpful staff. There is also an Italian receptionist so no problem with the language, in any case, we speak English. Underground parking. Free Wi Fi. If we stay at this hotel will still be our base.

We stayed 4 days in this hotel and we were very satisfied of how clean and quiet was. Also the staff was very friendly and wilingness to give us any information we needed. The accomodation is in a nice neighborhood very close to everything on foot or tram. Try to have dinner on nearby traditional tavern, its food is hearty and have good prices. Four and a half stars for the window at the room in the attic which sees on a wall.

I stayed three nights in Rome Hotel but I was desolate for the behavior of the staff of acceptance because it is not up to the task.
In short: the first night I was given a room-cage, the 504, where there wasn't even a Chair, nor space for suitcases. Anyway I accepted because I was guaranteed the change for the next day, when, before leaving, I have been given the keys to the room 321 in the knowledge that the change of room would be made by the Hotel staff. In the evening, after returning, I went to the room 321, I opened and embarrassed, I realized that the room was occupied. Went back to the desk, instead of receiving the apologies of the Lady, I was treated with indifference and been underestimated the serious mistake with the question "what is the problem? " In my opinion, the problem was there and was severe. Your luck was that in that room at that time, there were no tenants. The problems aren't over there because at the time of departure, despite having booked a single taxi for 5 people, 24 hours earlier, we get 2 taxis at a cost higher than the middle one and forced by the time, we had to accept that too. Do not treat so tourists that take you coins.

Room very spacious, quiet, very good breakfast. Ten minutes from the bridge of Karlo.

The place is rather nice and the room size is good. Breakfast wasn't brilliant but there was enough to choose from. My biggest issues are with the mount for the shower head being quite low (even though I was aware of that before staying here from other reviews I just didn't think it would be that inconvenient) and being on a non-smoking floor in a room that still smells of cigarettes past (and possibly present). Even my pillow smelt a little of smoke when I went to sleep the first night and the bathroom, after having the door closed whilst I was out all day, developed a strong cigarette smell throughout the day.

I visited it in July, 2010. It was my first visit of this country. I booked it online via seeing the closest to the university I was visiting (Charles university). Breakfast was great. Wifi was great. I needed iron I was given without charges. There transport came to pick me at airport. Awesome clean rooms. Thanks Roma hotel, I would love to visit Prague again sometime and again stay there.

Clean, great staff and location. Within easy walking distance of most attractions. The price is amazing too. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location and easy to reach. Provide the shuttle from the airport. Clean and cosy rooms. The great assortment of toiletries and Wi-Fi it adds a huge breakfast. Strongly recommended. As soon as I get chance I will return without thinking twice.

Very nice and friendly hotel.

I recommend this hotel and its location to anyone visiting Prague for the weekend. My wife and I arrived on 21 Dec and stayed for 3 nights. The location is great as it is in walking distance from the Castle and directly across from the tram lift to Petřín lookout tower. There are 2 markets within 5-10min including Charles Bridge. Breakfast was included with our accommodations and was good. Bang for buck we enjoyed it. We had a great deal via Skoosh and added one extra day at the hotel when we arrived and the total price increased by half, but it was worth it. The room was MASSIVE and we could have fit a second king size bed in the room. We did have some issues with the Wi-Fi connection in the room which we were told would work, but the internet in the lobby was accessible. Great place.
