Elly's beautiful apartment is a great find! A ten minute walk from the very centre of Dubrovnik along a traffic free pathway, the apartment we stayed in (I think she has three) was twin-bedded at the top of the house. Accessed via an external staircase it has its own private entrance so you can come and go easily, and a great roof terrace with a big sunblind so it's always comfortable to sit out. Fridge and basic crockery etc, good for breakfast and making a packed lunch. VERY comfy beds and pillows and complete silence at night. Powerful and warm shower and a washing machine with soap provided. Frankly, it was wonderful. We met Elly, her husband and her grown up children individually over our three night stay. Elly very kindly gave us a lift to the bus station on our final morning to catch the coach to Kotor. A lovely lady indeed! I cannot recommend Villa Elly highly enough.

You normally write a review after leaving your holiday accommodation — I'm writing this and still have 5 nights to stay here.
We were so lucky to choose this place, everything about it is great!
A well equipped, clean apartment including washing machine, iron, microwave, toasted sandwich maker, fridge and cooking facilities. Clean towels provided regularly. Private balcony with chairs and table. 200 metres to the nearest supermarket. 10 minutes walk into the Old Town downhill, get the bus back up and get off at the 2nd stop as the walk to the apartment is easier.
So the apartment is great, what about the hosts?
Andrija and Elly have been fantastic — both speak excellent English and Andrija sits down with you on arrival to give you some local directions and tips. He is a wealth of local information. They also can sort out airport transfers at reasonable cost which makes things easier.
We would recommend this place to family and friends easily.

Stayed here for 6 nights with my family of four (my wife, and 2 girls of age 7 and 2). As hosts Addo (Andrija) and his lovely wife get 10/10! Very helpful throughout our stay. Nothing was too much. Thank you very much for making our stay a pleasant experience!
We stayed in the top floor apartment which had a great terrace with sea views. The apartment was clean, very well equipped and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Even had a washing machine which was a nice touch.
The location was perfect, with a 10min stroll down to the Old City. We were concerned about stairs as we had a 2yr old in a pushchair with us — but this was not an issue staying at Villa Elly. Two ways to get down to the main road where one only has 2-3 steps, with the other with 15-20 steps.
On your way to the Old City from the Villa, you have a Bar/Restaurant and another Restaurant (Sesame) close by. There are a few market stores also within walking distance. The only time we took the bus was to get to the Copacabana beach (bus stop 5min from villa with a 15min bus ride). Well worth the visit!
Finally, I would not hesitate to recommend Villa Elly to anyone. We will be staying here again on our next visit in the future.

Such a great place. In a peaceful part of the city. 10 minutes walking distance from the old town.

We found everything we needed…

Booked this last minute and turned out to be a great choice. Andrija the owner is very friendly and welcoming, he gave us lots of information on local transport, buses, trains etc. The apartment was small but fine for 2 people, nice big bathroom, tv, free Wi-Fi and only 15mins to the old city and 20mins to Gruz port to go to the islands further out like Lopud. Would definitely recommend.

Great location, fantastic hospitality, beautiful view from our balcony. The owners were incredibly helpful & transfers from the airport & to the ferry terminal were easily arranged. Would highly recommend.
