I wish I could be more generous but I need readers to have realistic expectations here. It’s atleast 30 minutes from the airport. If you’re in and out, don’t stay here. The ammenties are basic to say the least and I’m not a snob. Cool vibe for sure but… they kept adding $$$ to t base price with extra people, breakfast, etc… and that base price tripled. In the future I will save the $50 can fare and stay near the airport which has atleast a fan.

Very nice small 2 storey hotel with 12 rooms. Nice and helpful staff and reasonable prices with good breakfast. Dinner is also possible.
The rooms are tastefully decorated and there are wonderful relaxation options with Ottoman, four-poster beds and swing-chairs in the covered outdoor area.
The rooms are all arranged to a delightfully designed courtyard with a pool. Very nicely laid out with flowers, cacti and palm trees.

Beautiful and peaceful property. Staff are kind and helpful. Breakfast was simple but perfect fuel for our tours. Location is about 25 mins away from the airport. Uber is available in this area though.

Really great staff. Rooms were clean and fine. They didn't have an ice maker so they let us store refrigables in the restaurant fridge. They do not have cribs. Just a baby cot which didn't work for our little. Did t get to enjoy the pool as we stayed only 1 night. Will go again.

We have stayed here several times, always great. The staff are obliging, food is very good, rooms clean, and location is close to airport but secluded Nos hemos alojado aquí varias veces, siempre genial. El personal es servicial, la comida es muy buena, las habitaciones limpias, y la ubicación está cerca del aeropuerto, pero aislado.

Staff are accomodating, more so when you are buying the food they can't push at the sh8hole restaurant which is actually the gimmick. Could use upgrades all around especially the screens and mattresses, drainage, and insulation. Now, although H. And E. Are super sweet, accomodating and professional, the owner was an absolute Cabron (look that one up, basically a caged psychotic animal preying upon his own guests) — — trust me and avoid this place; pay a few $ more and stay elsewhere. Bonus fact: The noise generated by management and guests reaches a crescendo level most mornings and you can't shut it out or them up, so forget sleeping altogether. A word to the wise…

Prices accessible and very close to San Jose and surroundings, a very qualified staff the perfect place to spend relaxed, the view from the amazing pool.

Such a quaint little hotel. Wonderful staff. They have a restaurant for dinner and it truley was amazing food. All so fresh and flavorful. Private security gate with a guard also. A few stores and restaurants close. You pretty much need a car to here though.

It is very nice and perfect to rest. Clean, quiet, the only thing is that the Wi-Fi only comes to the restaurant area. The staff is friendly. It doesn't have room for smokers.

This experience was interesting! Has a great Costa Rican vibe I must admit, but there are a few downers. No AC witch may be a problem during the hot summer months, some ants may join in on your adventure :) ), and the beds aren’t the best but other then that it has the most beautiful views and will make u feel right at home.

Awesome little gem! Friendly and outgoing staff, close to San Jose, volcanoes, mountains, Zoo Ave and a bunch of other happening places. A perfect place to Pura Vida. Will see you later again.

It's a very cozy little hotel with great outdoors and a personalized attention really out of this world. The small restaurant has a limited menu but its presentation is excellent. Strategically located meters from Highway 27.

Cozy hidden gem. Staff was great and very helpful. I left a bag in the cab that dropped us off, they called every cab company they could find and really went out of their way to try and track it down for me. Room was large and very comfortable. Dinner in the hotel was amazing.

These reviews are deceiving to say the least. I am spending my last night at this hotel, thank god, I'm so ready to leave. I initially booked the room based off these reviews, but once I got here it was a different story. There's no ac in the rooms. Breakfast is $8 and not worth the ice cream scoop-size of rice with beans and 1 egg that you get (seriously it's an ice-cream scoop of rice an beans, that's it). They also give you a few slices of fruit, that's it for breakfast. If you want more food, you have to pay (the portion size is not enough for an adult, especially not a grown man, I felt so hungry still). If you want to let anyone stay over for the night you have to pay $20 extra per person, they don't tell you this when you book the room, or even if you bring the person (s) over, they'll just look at you, but won't say anything about the fee until checkout, surprise! There are no refrigerator in the the rooms either. DO NOT LEAVE FOOD, I mean even a few crumbs will have a mass of ants coming out of the woodwork. You can find bugs crawling on you just sitting in your room, again if you drop a few crumbs in the floor in your room, expect ants to come within 5 minutes, it's really that bad. The linen and towels had stains on them. I'm not sure if they even mop the floors, which are wood, it seems like they just sweep, as my socks had weird rust brown stains from walking around. The pool is really tiny. There is no office, no available computers, and no printer.

Great place with pool and a view, good breakfast, decent dinner. Quiet but near town, walking distance to convenience store.

I really enjoyed this hotel. Reminded me almost off a B&B. The service was great and the food was amazing! Great price for what your getting. I would love to go back again. The room was ok. Don't put you bags on the floor though there were small bugs sometimes. The dinner was like 5 star quality for a very reasonable price. And amazingly good!

Quiet located, not far away from the airport. Delicious and fresh breakfast. The rooms are ok and clean.

One of the best hotels in which I have had the pleasure of staying. Very friendly staff, clean room and all-day smells amazing (May). It is the most peaceful place to which I have had the pleasure of sleeping. In the morning is special by the singing of their birds (particularly thrushes).

Went there on a free night, great place, small but rustic and its actually cheap.

Plush. Breakfast 8 bucks. Dinner 20 bucks. Coffee cheap but booze expensive. Great view. Great pool. Great area around the pool to lounge and chill. Wonderful views and balcony and bird life. Quiet etc. Good deal when it's cheap.

Great little hotel. Staff was amazing! Fabian was very hospitable. We will definitely be back.
