The experience as such at the Hotel could be rated as deficient. The facilities were dirty, the pool could not be used because they were painting and in the restaurant the attention is terrible, they have serious communication problems and this affects the attention they give to the client. I really wanted to go and the desire to stay in that … it seemed that he just wanted to. Serve foreigners.

Hotel Autentico Restaurant was the highlight of our evening after returning each night from Daily Tours,. Reasonably priced good food and drink. Lots of bar and dining room seating, with a great bar staff with Carlito and Juan Carlos and the host of the dining room floor of Elton John, we were treated each night like ROYALTY. We were recommended delicious meals, the best drinks and they even took the time to assist us with our "Broken Espanol" Elton John as our server, was very attentive and helpful, and full of knowledge. Always nice when a restaurant succeeds because of its staff and not in spite of it. This hotel is within 5 walking blocks of great items to see, other restaurants to visit and places to shop.
Large sized suites, great garden views, (BRING YOUR Mosquito repellent this is a C. R. Concern not just the hotel) Will be returning soon. DemButlers.

I want to start this review off by saying that I absolutely loved Costa Rica. From the beautiful mountains and beaches to delicious coffee and friendly people, it was an amazing experience, but this hotel destroyed that. Upon my arrival, we were able to check in early, which we thought was awesome. However, we came to find out they changed my room on me without telling me because they apparently overbooked and didn't have the room available that I already had booked. Then, when we get to the room, it is lacking in space, the bathroom flooded very easily, and the AC unit didn't work. Let me add that the AC unit stopped working twice! We thought after this, the rough patches were over. NOPE! Upon waking up the 2nd day, we had found out that the hotel put a hold on my card for the ENTIRE AMOUNT of our stay on top of already charging us for the complete amount. Therefore, the hotel double charged my card, threw my account into the negative (it was a card I specifically chose for the vacation), and essentially nearly destroyed my wife and I's honeymoon. When taking this entire situation up with the front desk, they had absolutely no knowledge of the second charge and neither did their bank! They kept trying to say that there was no second charge even though I had my bank statement on my phone right in front of me. In fact, they never even fixed it!

Clean hotel. Close to busy road and somewhat dated but good by Costa Rican standards.

Medium sized rooms with great airconditioning and a bit of a view. Beds were a little hard but you learn to expect this in Costa Rica, I think it's caused by the humidity. Breakfast is small but tastes absolutely amazing with local fruit and rice made according to local tradition.

Our rooms were nice. 3 beds made it a bit tight, but it worked. Optional room ac is remote controled. Bathroom very small, but has everything you need. Everything worked well. Clean.

It is a hotel very quiet, very nice and comfortable. The care is quite good, also the prices are reasonable :)

Facilities spotless and very good service. With all of the conditions to the enjoyment of any person.

Enjoyed our stay. The free breakfast is wonderful, changing daily. The staff is extremely helpful. They have handicap accessible rooms pool side which was helpful for our situation. Some of the rooms are absolutely beautiful, get the family suite. They are remodeled but some of the other ones aren't the best. Hotel is in the process of renovation and sure they plan on those rooms being remodeled as well. If it wasn't for that I would give 5 stars.

Rooms were basic but clean, hotel is under renovation but in a good part of town. Pool/bar area was nice. Breakfast was very basic, not worth the money for me.

Excellent location, very good food and pastries. Comfortable and well-equipped meeting rooms for group work sessions. The staff were very friendly and comoetitivos.

Nice modern hotel with spacious rooms. It is a few blocks off of La Sabana. Easy access and fairly quiet. They have a really nice Court yard. Breakfast was fresh juice, fruit, meat, eggs, Gallo pinto, breads, and coffee. All were well prepared and all you can eat. A nice atmosphere and no pressure from the staff to hurry up.

I made use of the lounge and I found it quite good. With coffee service, and fresh pastries. Parking to the front with security.

In the month of October they stayed 3 people and I doubled the payment by credit card of one of them, so far they do not make me the money. I have called from Ecuador on several occasions and have sent emails and I have no positive feedback so far. A very bad customer service. I'm still waiting for some response to solve the problem.

The rooms are small and a bit cramped, but the hotel on the whole is pretty quaint, and the staff are so helpful and lovely.

Rooms are boutique style. Very impersonal. Good for an overnight stay.

This was the last hotel used on the G Adventure tour (Volcano adventure). The outside of the hotel and lobby look very fancy, but the rooms are very old and are in urgent need of an upgrade.

They are mis representing the hotel. The horror hotel I call it. The most horrible experience I ever head.

Stay here every year on the to our destinations and on the way back. Very nice people and good food at restaurant.

People were great, food was delicious, nice pool but the rooms are old and outdated. The hotel can use some upgrades.

Very outdated rooms. The lock won't lock and they refused to give us another room. I do not recommend staying here.

Clean and centrally located with a decent free breakfast. Good place to crash the night before flying out. Not for those overly fussy about outdated room decore.

Several lunch activities, with different groups of friends we have been pleased with the service provided and the excellent buffet. Rich, varied, excellent presentation and waiters provide a very friendly treatment. Excellent, thank you. Highly recommended.

The service in the restaurant was very good as is the food, however, we wanted to charge more for the hosting than what we were told over the phone. In the rooms you hear very much outside noise. The ladies that do the cleaning are called to shouting to each other. The pool was not available because they were cleaning. The bulb of the lamp is not served.
