A wonderful hotel. The hosts are amazing. Very friendly and enthusiastic about the hotel and its vicinity. The food is excellent, and I highly recommend to book breakfast and dinner when you arrive (kitchen closes ~7:30pm). The cook is a master chef, trained in Sonoma, and really knows what he is doing.
The cabins are pretty basic with shared but excellent shower. The owners are amazingly friendly and helpful, they also offer free transport to the zero kilometer of the ascent trail for Cerro Chirippo. And how often do you happen to be driven by a champion?
