Nice hostel in front of the street, the orners are so friendly. And have coffe free in you stay here.

Great place! A wonderful family will greet you here; all the coffee you can drink. The guy was super nice and let me park my car for free while I was up climbing Cerro Chirripo. If you're from a country he has not drawn a flag for he'll draw the flag of your country on his wall. I HIGHLY recommend this place, you will not go wrong. Price is super cheap too.

It is so wonderful this place that came for 2 days and I have already been peace and quiet and above all its managers Jose and Carlos you are already a family.

So many things I loved about this place; Jose, the owner is an amazing guy who has a passion for the place, the decorations are beautiful, the terrace is a great place to hang out and have a chat with Jose or other travellers, there's a shuttle to the start of the chirippo hike at 5. And it's the cheapest you will get in town :)

Really nice hostel and there is a shuttle going to the cerro chirripo at 5AM. I hope you have the chance to meet with José when you get at that hostel! Really friendly! Dont hesitate to ask for some tips as he has some for you ;)

Jose is awesome. Great room and use of kitchen from 7am to 7pm. Definitely recommend.

A great place to rest and be close to nature. Eric Solis told my son that the mountain awakens the good things in people and that's true, we were able to prove it. Thanks Eric for all the attention, we'll be around soon.

Very good care, friendly atmosphere, climate, good breakfast, and free coffee at all times. The host of the place, very helpful, explaining about the area, and in general about the country. I highly recommend it.

A new hostel, very welcoming, rooms are cheerful and colorful. Joseph gave us a lot of information on both the area as the country.

Very nice place! We had a great time there! Our host, jose, was very helpful and gave us plenty of tips to get around the place! He even organised our hike to cerro chirripo!

We stayed at this place for 2 nights. Jose and the two girls were really nice and they helped us to plan our hike to Cerro Chirripó. It wasn't like other hostels, more like a family-atmosphere … They cooked dinner for us too! With all the paintings from Jose the place also looks really welcoming. We enjoyed our stay and totally recommend it. (They also offer a free shuttle to the park entrance)

We pass 3 days with Jose in the Hostel Casa Chirripo, it was fantastic thanks to Jose who gave many advices to visit the region of Chirripo. We could not do the assension of chirripo because of the expansives prices, so Jose told to us what do cheaper, we meet local poeple, eat typical dishes muy barato, and did several rides fantastics!
The place and also very pleasant, there is a large kitchen, the rooms are verry comfortable, the whole decoration is very tasteful and the prices are very good ($ 15 per night with a tasty breakfast! )
We highly recommend it to all travelers! Thanks you Jose for letting us live these extraordinary moments!

This Hostel was really nice. First I would like to say that the Hostel Team and its support was incredible. I've never been in a Hostel where the owners are so motivated to ensure a good situation for the guests. It is more a family athmosphere and the people help in every little situation.
The paintings in the whole house make it to an colourful place with an agradable athmosphere.
It is perfekt to visit Chirripo because it is 5 minutes from the bus stop and the Host…el provide a transportation to the park entrance for free.
This hostel I pretty new but I'm sure that these guys will be very successful with such an attitude. And! There is Wiwi and a Computer which I really enjoyed. This is not common in this area. Guys. Next time Chirripo you see me again.
