Had a great time at Big Bamboo in Uvita. Location is good for exploring waterfalls, beaches and the Whales Tail. You can easily walk from Big Bamboo to the center of Uvita, its bus station and the shops, grocery store, bank, and restaurants. I preferred eating at Big Bamboo because the food was so good, especially the breakfast and dinners prepared by Lupe. You can easily get buses to Dominical and Manuel Antonio from here. We went to Playe Hermosa (about 2-3 km away) a few times for swimming and surfing. The rooms are comfortable and there is a nice, quiet, authentic feel to the place.
